Perspectives

I chain myself every morning.

I lift these weights on my shoulders.

I hold the hands of another.

I burdon myself with other problems.

They argue I'm too nice.

They say I'm too kind.

They claim I'm too fragile.

They talk behind my back.

He walks alone.

He runs away in fear.

He stands in a crowd of strangers.

He sits and cries.

We never bothered to see.

We never tried to help.

We never stopped to think.

We never tried to care.

What if that's all it took?

What if we could save somebody?

What if they need our help?

What if we said "hi"?
