Chapter 3:An Unexpected Call

Leonard's introduction to the academy took an unexpected turn as he was handed over to the care of Ms. Miwa by the Headmaster. The ensuing tour of Block 12 revealed a campus with an unusual blend of luxury and functionality, featuring exotic flowers with medicinal properties, a disguised 5-star hotel, and a hospital cleverly camouflaged as a nurse's office.

The revelation continued with a shop boasting branded items concealing advanced technology. Leonard's journey led him to a massive classroom, almost auditorium-sized, where indifferent girls seemed unbothered by his arrival. The day concluded with snacks, a handbook, and a map handed to Leonard by a girl who, despite her aloof demeanour, offered assistance.

As Leonard pondered the absence of boys and the mysterious ambiance, the academy's secrets seemed to deepen. His new life at the academy was just beginning, and the question lingered—would the mysterious prince withstand the enigmatic challenges that lay ahead?

The evening was painted in shades of red, the phone rang, and on the display danced the name of Ahsrav, the current princess of Londo. Known for her tom-cat antics, recklessness, and genuine friendship, she was a character unlike any other in my royal circle.

"Hey Leon, it's been a long time~~" Ahsrav purred through the phone.

"Sure has. When was the last time we met again?" I replied.

"It's been around 3 years~" she said, a mischievous tone lingering in her voice.

"So, what does the tom-cat princess want now?" I inquired.

"Well, Kitty~, remember the Prince of Turkiye, Asena? I broke his face, so I need your help to get me out of the situation. Pretty please," she pleaded.

"Say what!? Have you really gone insane?" I exclaimed.

"He started it. Who knew he was such a weakling?" she defended herself.

"He is anything but a weakling. I really am going to have a heart attack if you keep up this attitude," I sighed.

"He dared to speak ill of My Victor, Marquis of Londo. How can I overlook such insolence?" Ahsrav declared.

"Your Victor? When did that happen?" I asked, genuinely surprised.

"Around a year now, I guess. Maybe because a certain someone left without a word, and it took a long time to find that baka I couldn't inform," she explained.

An awkward smile crept across my face. "I guess I was a bit rash back then too."

"Anyway, help me with this one alone, and I won't bother you anymore. How about that?" Ahsrav proposed.

"Sounds fair," I conceded.

"Then it is settled. I will mail the rest of the details. See ya," she chimed before hanging up with a nonchalant toot-toot.

Seriously, she is anything but lady-like. Sometimes I wonder if she were a prince; I am pretty sure she would have gained the 'Tyrant' title in no time.

Life at the academy was a swirl of drama, responsibility, and unexpected friendships – a canvas painted with bold strokes of red, much like the evening that unfolded before me.

I opened my mailbox, expecting the usual mundane updates, but this time, a mail from school caught my attention. I couldn't help but wonder, "What now?" Little did I know, the contents of that email would redefine the meaning of a packed schedule.

As I scanned through the details, my eyes widened in disbelief. The schedule seemed to be a chaotic masterpiece, starting from the ungodly hour of 4 am and stretching all the way to a mind-boggling 10 pm. I rubbed my eyes, half-expecting the crazy hours to disappear, but no such luck. It turned out this insane timetable was the exclusive privilege of class 12-E.

Curiosity and disbelief led me to dial the Class Monitor's number. The phone rang, and I felt a sense of relief when she finally answered.

"This is Yuki. Who is this?" she inquired.

"Hello, I am Leonard of class 12-E. I would like to cross-check the schedule sent to me," I introduced myself.

"Ahhh, the new guy. Yeah, that was the right schedule. Any problem?" Yuki responded casually.

I couldn't hide my concern, "Well, the schedule starts from 4 am and goes till 10 pm, so I was wondering if there was any mistake in it."

Yuki dismissed my hopes, "No, there is no mistake. If you want to change it or something like that, you will be requiring special permission from 'her'."

Intrigued, I thought to myself, "Again with this, who is the girl they are mentioning?" Out loud, I simply said, "Fine. Thank you for the clarification."

Feeling the weight of the late hour, I decided it was time to retire for the day. Stepping onto the balcony, I gazed at the stars overhead, silently pleading, "Dear God, if you are listening, I wish my life here to be easy and save me from all the upcoming trouble - Ahsrav and all."

And so, with that quiet prayer, day one in a new country, my new life, unfolded. As I reflected, I realised I was actually looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead. Little did I know, this new chapter would be anything but ordinary.
