The feeling

After the celebration party I went straight home

I couldn't sleep

the only thing I could think about was jake

6 am

I cant go to work today so

I thought about going on a run but I cant my ankles have gone through so much they need a rest

I went to local shop bought some ice cream and some movies to watch I wasn't sure what to get when i was chosing

A little kid said to me momma ?

I looked down

I haven't met this kid

I got to my knees and asked the little boy where are your parents ?

I looked around we couldn't find the mother Then I went to the cashiers but their wasnt anybody I didn't know what to do in that moment .

I looked around some more couldn't find his mom so I asked him what your name

" He said mikee "

He was adorable but we had to find his parents they must be so worried

I bought him some ice cream and we sat outside in a bench near the local store .

I had to keep an eye on him

From far I say A man running around like crazy

I wasn't wearing my contacts in that moment so could see his clearly but as he got closer I was in shock the. man who was running towards me was jake

He then ran hugged the boy and sad " I was scared to death , Umm maya ?"

I said " Oh is this your brother He came up to me in the store and couldn't find his parents so you know I waited to see if anybody came to look for him. I couldn't leave him alone "

Jake " Oh thank thank you , I was death whenever i couldn't find him . Maya he's my son"

I was more than shocked his son what how.

I was standing their frozen we weren't a thing we barely new each other he's probably married

Jake " Are feeling ok , You look pale "

I said " yeah-yeah im fine sorry I spaced out for a sec well you found him ill take my leave "

I walked home without saying anything Idk what this feeling was

When I got home I could only eat my ice cream and think about the boy

He looked around 2 years old

He didn't look that old

I couldn't sleep

But wasn't really sure why I had this feeling

I barely new this man

Why did I have this feeling
