I'm Not Azinza

A tranquil silence surrounded the air. The stage lights dimmed while a couple of long shadows manifested on the stage's floor, intimately.

The glaring spotlight flashed on the two in the center, standing closely like a pair of lovers. Their gaze fixated on each other's faces, their hearts pounding and breathing erratic.

A sweet and melancholic melody echoed adding to the dreamy sight of two lovers uniting.

Gently holding onto the girl's soft palms, the man gazed deeply into her clear eyes with a tender smile in his own. His low, magnetic voice lightly caressed her pink ears like a million feathers.

"..Princess, I've been waiting here for you all these years. I knew you wouldn't forget your promise so easily.."

Closing her eyes, the girl in a pristine white dress took a deep breath, reveling in the moment. Her slender body quivering with joy and anticipation. Slowly opening them, she smiled coyly at him. His hand holding hers tightened, the warmth seeping into their beating hearts.

"When I lost all my memories, when your existence was erased, I came to love you again.."

A radiant smile lingered about her ruddy lips akin to a blooming red rose's petals as she vocalized. Her voice euphonious. His heart melted listening to her saccharine words.

"Even if I lose my memories again.. If that time comes, I'd still find you and love you again.."

"My prince..!"

Leaning forward, the man in a retro green shirt and black pants with big ankle boots brushed her silky hair off her face. Slowly, he closed in, casting a shadow on the girl.

Abashed, her dense lashes quivered akin to a butterfly's wings, and her eyes fluttered close, once again.

With her eyes shut, Tianna could clearly see the man visiting her every night, in her dreams across her in flesh. The man's other-worldly beauty and handsomeness would always make her heart pound like crazy. His big hands caressing her cheeks softly like she was a precious pearl. His pair of mysterious emerald green eyes staring right into her own were like a dream in itself.

Everytime he'd kiss Tianna's forehead, the feathery touch always felt tender. Her body floating in air, amidst the fluffy clouds with happiness bubbling inside her chest.

"Tianna.."

As the man's husky voice fell, Tianna was back on her toes. Her mind blanked out like a clean slate. Even her legs turned to jelly.

Wide-eyed, the petrified Tianna pushed him away with all her might, startling each and everyone in the room. The man fell back on the cold floor.

Loud gasps were heard. All the lights were switched on. The crowd murmuring among themselves in awe.

The brightness allowing Tianna to finally see the shocked man on the floor.

Intrigued, the students intently looked at the man whose hurtful gaze was transfixed on Tianna. He was flushed red with sheer embarrassment.

Rushing forward to the stage, Ms Lilith was anxious as she grabbed onto Tianna, her own palms clammy.

"Tianna? What happened?!"

Worried sick, Ms Lilith inquired softly to avoid scaring her further.

"Uh! I.. Ms Lilith.. I'm sorry, Adam.."

Coming out of her reverie, Tianna turned to glimpse at the perturbed woman in front as she sputtered, deliberately avoiding Adam.

"Adam! Are you okay?!"

Sighing to herself, Ms Lilith shifted to look at the stunned Adam. A frown coloring her countenance.

Preoccupied, Adam nodded his head like a robot and stood up to straighten his now dirty white clothes. His shirt covered with dust.

Creasing his forehead in confusion, Adam cast a glance at the awkward Tianna, who was fidgeting her fingers. Unease clear on her now pale face.

"Yes, I'm.. I'm okay, you don't have to say sorry. I must've scared you.."

Unable to digest the prior incident, Adam apologetically mumbled, darting his gaze from Tianna to his shoes.

"I.. I'm sorry.. I have to go now!"

Clumsily wiping her forehead damp with a layer of mist, Tianna turned on her heel and left.

Throwing her backpack on the couch, the dejected Tianna flung her bedroom's door. Her feet stomping as she entered inside like an angry predator.

"Why?! Why are you always doing this to me?!! Who are you.. What do you want from me..!"

Agitated, Tianna slumped on the wet floor of her bathroom, bawling loudly.

She just can not understand the reason why her conciousness would fade from time to time. How the reality and fantasies mangle into a bizarre experience frightfully turning her life topsy turvy.

A faint silhouette entered Tianna's line of sight, her hazy gaze staring at the man's suave front.

"..Azinza!"

"I'm waiting for you.. Come to me Azinza..!"

"Azinza.. Come back to me!"

Splashing the water in the tub on the man, Tianna screamed in exasperation, her face and eyes red from crying.

"I'm.. I'm not Azinza! My name is Tianna!! Tianna Jones..!!"
