Pillow Talk

Aegon laid naked as a bare Daenerys rested her head on his chest, it was safe to say she had enjoyed her first. Aegon was sure there would be many repeats but for now pleasure had been finished and now it was time to move on to more serious subjects.

"Daenerys." Aegon looked down at the beauty resting in his arms, she seemed to immediately look at him as he spoke.

"My name is Aegon Targaryen, Heir to the iron throne, son of Rhaegar and grandson of Aerys." It was a hefty sentence one he was sure would only grow as he grew older. He focused more on Daenerys' reaction, one that seemed to vary between shock and glee.

She had heard from Viserys that none of the other children survived, they had died during the sack of kings landing. Hearing such a thing had broken her heart as a child her prince one she surely would have married was dead. Only two Targaryens remained her and her brother. Now she was finding out that was in fact false. Had it been someone else she would have believed them a liar but how could she explain the eyes. Those deep purple eyes that seemed even darker than hers, she had noticed the similarities between Aegon and Viserys. They looked as if they could be related only Aegon lacked the sickly complexion the week Viserys held.

"They said that Elia and her children were killed during the sack of King's Landing killed by the Mountain himself." Daenerys looked at Aegon looking for a reaction.

"A tale told by Tywin Lannister in hopes of gaining the Usurpers' trust, I assure my mother and sister escaped alongside me."

Aegon watched as she sat up sitting on her knees she reached forward grabbing his face. She stared into his eyes for a second before smiling.

"I believe you but you'll have to explain your hair and how you're here, last I heard none of my brother's children survived."

Aegon nodded, sitting up he began. He told her how his mother with the help of Varys smuggled them out of King's Landing right before it was sacked. How they spent a week tired and hungry on a boat full of pirates as the waves carried them towards Dorne. How his mother spent each of those days with little to no sleep meanwhile watching over Rhaenys and himself. How on the one night when she finally decided to get some sleep two pirates broke in the cabin taking him away.

"I slept for the next two days completely unaware of my own situation. When I finally woke, we were already reaching Essos. Who knows what those Pirates had planned, there are plenty of sick people wishing to buy a prince from a faraway land."

Aegon looked up at Daenerys, a look of worry or was it pity, he couldn't be sure but he still managed to give her a small smile.

"Upon reaching land we were surrounded by the Dothraki. The two pirates were shocked the Dothraki sea was so far east it would have taken months to reach it. Looking back at it now the first pirate was smarter, he knew there was no negotiating with the Dothraki. He charged the first man he saw, sadly that man happened to be the Khal."

"Your brother?" Daenerys asked, causing Aegon to shake his head.

"No Drogo couldn't have been older than 6 or 7 at that time no this was his father Khal Bharbo. He was a mammoth of a man, maybe even taller than Drogo, he slayed the first pirate before having his blood riders kill the second pirate."

Aegon remembered it all so vividly, the feeling of awaking in a mysterious world he had thought only to be fictional.

"Khal Bharbo took me in and in return I owed the Dothraki a favor. I was raised alongside Drogo; it's why we're so close."

Daenerys seemed to be on cloud nine as Aegon finished talking, for a second she wondered if he was telling the truth it all seemed so unbelievable.

"Now my hair is simple to explain. You see the way the Dothraki look at you and Viserys, like you're monsters. Their very superstitious people, as a kid I had no other option, dying my hair allowed me to become one of the Dothraki. Soon the ink will begin to fade by then I'll have no more need for it."

Daenerys nodded knowing he was right, she didn't like the looks she got from the Dothraki. She doubted anyone would. She imagined how Aegon must have felt as a kid alone with no family, forced to live amongst savages.

"Daenerys."

The voice of her now husband drew her out of her thoughts as he stared at her with a serious look, one that seemed to see through her very being.

"As my wife what we discuss stays between us. Outside of this tent my identity must remain a secret. At least until we find out who the spy is." In all actuality Aegon didn't mind anyone knowing who he was but he needed Daenerys' complete trust. Not to mention he needed to know that he could trust her. He was already aware of the reason Jorah Mormont was here but he didn't want to kill him yet. He planned on feeding him false information that way King's Landing would remain unaware of his true identity. The only person with some clue as to who he was would be Ned Stark. But Aegon trusted that he would do his best to keep such a secret to himself. Meanwhile Varys had no idea he had been rescued by the Dothraki as a kid. He couldn't be completely sure if it was him that orchestrated his kidnapping as a kid. Aegon shook his head wondering when he had begun thinking so heavily about such things. But he instantly realized he had always been such a calculative person he had to be especially in Essos.

"There's a spy?"

"Yes, you and Viserys have been safe within the walls of Illyrio's home but now things are different. The Usurper wants the both of you dead, we must remain vigilant." Aegon fed her paranoia of Robert Baratheon, something she definitely got from Viserys. He found it baffling that Daenerys believed all along that Robert was a simple usurper that only did it for the crown. As if there was nothing wrong with the Targaryen's, she no doubt thought herself better then Viserys. He called himself the dragon and yet fire burned him, she didn't have that problem. Aegon understood that deep down Daenerys was arrogant, she believed herself smarter then Viserys and yet she believed the same lies he did.

"For now we rest," Aegon wrapped his arm around Daenerys as sleep soon took them both.
