Chapter 4 Age 1, changes and meeting Nina again
It is safe to say Gods can not be compared to mortals at 2 months Artemis could already walk and say a few words. I on the other hand always followed after her when she first walked I followed suit hours later and when she learnt to talk I would say a few words more than her. I adamantly refused to breast feed unlike Artemis and out of desperation my mother started feeding me a honey like substance I assumed to be ambrosia. It tasted heavenly and seemed to increase my strength so I ate it as much as I can. Before the start of the year I didn't do any physical exercise apart from playing in the forest with Artemis, during this time our mother taught us to read and write and told us stories about the gods, titans, mortals and the other creatures of the world. I continued meditation and circulation every chance I got as I waited for my first birthday.
I instinctively knew my world would be accessible after my first birthday. Apparently the first birthday is important to goods as well for 2 reasons 1. a God can start eating meat, so far all we could eat was fruits, water, milk or ambrosia. It seems that that during the first year a young God faith seed stabilizes and residual energy from dead animal slows down this process, the stronger the animals consumed the bigger the impact. After the seeds have stabilized it actually helps the young god grow stronger, from this I discovered that most Olympians never bother with training and just grow stronger with time. The more talented the gods the faster and the more powerful they become. The only thing they do is increase their followers allowing faster strength growth ! Surely no wonder the gods fall, they are lazy, arrogant and cruel, honestly what do they expect.
2. As soon as a god is only considered a God when they have a faith seed with specific devinities otherwise they are demi gods this often occurs in children between a God and another race . As soon as the seed stabilizes other Olympians will know of your existence.
Thus Hera will probably attack me as a male child to rid a threat to the throne of Olympus. As there are rules in place to prevent certain actions, Hera or any other god cannot attack directly thus explaining why Hera had sent python to the original apollo and prevented Luto from finding permanent shelter in any land during this time.
Month quickly passed until our first birthday and changes happened. On the morning Artemis glowed green as her faith seed in the divinity of forestry was established but as for me I glowed gold but after that died out nothing, my mother couldn't sense a faith seed assumed I was a demi God and tried to comfort me taking my silence and my physical changes as my shattering heart. But that wasn't the case as it was in fact shock as I received 3 major divinities Sun, moon and stars as this happened my originally golden eyebrows and nails turned white while and eyes turned dark silver. My wish of concealment came into play and all the gods can see is a slightly stronger demigod.
Two week passed as I waited excitedly to see Nina, I missed her, missed her smell and touch as we haven't been apart for more than a day since we married. As soon as I got access I immediately went to her. I noticed mana was denser here but before I could get my baring a 2 year old dark skin black girl tackled me. I hugged her as I knew it was Nina, she kissed me with tears in her eyes and told me missed. I kissed her even more intensely as I said "I missed you too". God I love this woman! I can't help but love her she's my other half, my heart and life.
We spend hours hugging without moving as I told her about what my wife has been like, about my mother, sister and you can imagine her "O" shocked face when she found out I was apollo - it was toooo cutttte!.
