The Plan

I geared up with Veronica and Liona. Kali was going to meet us on the way. We took off as the sun began to set. the birds chirping and animals grazing in the fields beyond the village. The night came with a crispness in the air. winter was just in a few months. As we walked we talked about the village and everyone that's their. We were in high spirits, Liona laughing till she cried. Veronica was smiling like I had never seen. I wasn't like we were off to war, more like a vacation trip. I knew the mood would change once we got there. We were just keeping our minds busy till then. Life here was so much different then where I was from. I guess having power makes a big difference. I wanted peace for this world, so people could be happy without worrying about being invaded or mistreated because of race. I sighed. This world still had a chance.

We passed a few villages and bought some supplies. mostly camping essentials and what not. then we found a nice spot in some woods to set up camp. We built a fire and got comfy. we chatted awhile till Liona passed out.

"This one's going to be tough isn't it Jackson?" Veronica asked.

"No. I hope not anyways. however I have to send a message. that way noone will ever do what the Ashen have done. Even if it means killing a whole city's worth of them." I quietly said.

My mind rambled with plans of what I could do and how I could handle this situation. I had plans then back up plans and back up plans for my back up plans. I sighed. my head hurt. This situation was tricky. then it came to me. no bigger message then destroying the whole city. just wiping it completely. the loss of life would be massive, but no other nation would want war. Might even turn the Ashen around a bit. Just maybe I didn't need to wipe them all out.i sighed out of relief.

"What do you plan to do?" Veronica asked.

"I can't tell you that right now, however I know even if they had any fight left after this it wouldn't do them any good. Their country will remember this for eternity, hell everyone will." I said.

my eyes were heavy. I decided it was time to pass out. things were starting to get to me a little. I needed to sleep on things. Decide if what I had planned to do was what was best. I knew after that there was no turning back. no being a hermit or hiding like I would do before. No running away no matter how bad things got. I had to see this one through. my mind was racing as I lay down. my anxiety hit like me like a brick. I sighed.
