Chapter 8: Ricky's Bloody Hands
The next day started like any other, except for the fact that Iñigo is in a confused and worried state. All night, he has been texting Fritz her whereabouts. He learned from her parents that she hasn't gone home. He aims to ask his friends of her by the end of the day. But his company knew little of where she went.That same moment, Ricky asked for permission to refill his water jug, but that same moment a few of the students asked favors to Ricky for refills as a joke. Iñigo wanting to join the fun, offered his tumbler too, to which Ricky saw as an opportunity.
He returned with all vessels filled. He returned the bottles to the right owner. He gave back Inigo's water container and went back to his seat. And waited. Waited. Waited. Waited. Every minute felt like eternity until the vice-president started coughing and vomiting from just one sip of water. His friends came to his aid. The girls spranged from their seat screaming. Joshua quickly went towards him and asked, "Bro, what's wrong?", Joshua asked. "Somebody, bring him to the clinic!", said another student. Joshua, meanwhile, took a look at Iñigo's water jug and noticed what was the matter. "Wait, there's soap in the bottle. It's poisoned!", he proclaimed as he sniffed the opening. But before his statement, a board hit him in the head multiple times. The class stood in shook as the students who tried to stop Ricky from hitting Joshua on the skull get punched, beaten, and finally stabbed on the neck with a pen.
The maddened student takes Iñigo as a hostage. Everyone stood helplessly while groaning with pain."What are you doing? Hare you lost your damn mind?!", said one student while uttering foul language. "A bit. For a good cause. I have borne people like you to to death. You, kids never receive the treatment you deserve. When will you learn to be ashamed of yourselves? Never, of course. Which is why today is the day you seal your fate," Ricky said triumphantly. Meanwhile, teachers came to the scene to stop Ricky. But, before he can kill Iñigo, Nicole knocked him out with a cloth of chloroform.
The class stood silently as The teachers called for an ambulance and the police, who by this time has been investigating Fritz's death. News spread of the murder giving everyone a feeling of terror to the students and faculty. Multiple students are injured to a critical level. The parents of the deceased wailed for justice, while at the same time remorsed for their children and the missed opportunities they could've had.
