The great war 100,000 years ago had resulted in the deaths of many. The elites of that age had mostly died at that time.

There were hundreds of battles within the Bottomless Pit, and so there were many battlefields.

Even Ling Luo did not know where some of those battlefields were since the Bottomless Pit was not under her control. She had never searched some of those territories.

The Heroes' Tablets were created by her through a sliver of a soul that had escaped during the war. The sliver of the soul was from the elites who died during the war.

Even if she were the Lord God, she could not revive them. Unless she was upgraded one more time and was able to find the bodies of these elites. That was why she would preserve the tablets.

As long as their bodies remain, so would their souls. If their bodies were destroyed, the souls that escaped would disperse as well.
