Chapter 1

It was a nice Sunday evening , the flight finally landed onto the ground after flying about 5 hours . We walked out of the plane as its completely landed .

A new place , new people and new memories . My parents just walked infront of me so I just followed them from behind . We waited for a cab as our car haven't been ship yet .

About 15 minutes , a cab stopped infront of us . We hopped into the cab , giving an instruction to the driver to drive us to XXXX Restaurant .

"Where are you guys from?" the driver started a conversation to make our ride a little happening . "Canada , I got transferred here" my dad replied followed by my mum . They talk with the driver about random things but I was too tired to talk so I just remain quiet .

"Keep the change" my dad paid the ride as we get out of the cab . The restaurant looks simple from the outside . As we step into the restaurant , its look like a 5 stars restaurant .

A guy came to take our order , we ordered seafood , 2 orange juice , Oreo Vanilla smoothie and some ice cream as dessert because we were starving .

About 20 minutes , the waiter came back with our order on his hand . The service is so good — fast service . The waiter is so young . Maybe the same age as me but that doesn't matter . What matter is my empty stomach .

He put the food carefully on the table . The food is still hot , I can see the vapour and the smell of the food is really asking me to eat it . At last , he messed up . His elbow hit my drink making it spilled over me .

I was kinda shook of what happened and the cold of the smoothie really refreshened my body . He handed me a handkerchief from his pocket as he keep apologising for his careless .

I wipe myself with the handkerchief and excuse myself to go to the loo . My parents wipe the mess with tissues they have in their pocket .

I looked at myself in the mirror . I am messy . My white shirt now stained with the smoothie . I guess I shouldn't ordered it and ordered plain water instead .

I exited the loo and bump into the waiter . "I am sorry miss" he bowed . "Its okay" I smiled back . "I am so sorry" he apologising again and again . "Its okay . Be careful next time . I am starving so may I go now?" I jokingly told him . He nodded as I left him doing his own job .

I told my parents to forget what just happened and enjoy the food instead . We enjoyed our food and paid for them . After fulfil our stomach request , we called another cab to drive us to our new apartment .

After the cab arrived , same thing happened . My parents talked with the driver and I remain quiet . Its already past my bed time so I am super sleepy . I fell asleep in my mum arm without realize we already there .

I was amazed with the apartment . Its super comfortable , kinda big for me because we are only three . We all are super tired so we go into our own room . My parents room is so big so am I .

I quickly take a shower because I feel so uncomfortable with my own sweat . Then , I put on my pajama . I will directly sleep because I am sleepy and I need to register for my new highschool tomorrow .

My parents really care about my education so they already looked for a highschool online before we even fly to this city .

I switch off the light and jumped into my bed . Without even a sec , I fell asleep .
