Refining

After that process I was sweating heavily as I was drenched in the impurities, then came a gold light from the tattoo and brushed across my body and then all that black murky substances was gone, my spiritual form look a tiny bit solider after that process.

The book had told me to name it, so I named it Chen Xiao. Chen Xiao had told me that my spiritual body would need to be rebuilt as I was still in corporeal form in this space.

All essences have the same ranks, but some are extremely difficult to find, while the 5 main essence, fire, water, wind, earth, metal, and wood. They are the easiest to find. It is hard to understand the different kind of essences in the lower tiers, but every tier that you advance it gets 2 times harder when trying to gain an understanding of the different essences.

"What you have just refined isn't even lower tier 1 Void essence, you will have to be able to get used to that weak amount, then you will be able to slowly refine more and more till you're ready for the lower tier 1 Void essence." Chen Xiao said.

I had decided to rest for a bit, and recuperate my lost strength after that tiring process which felt like being bathed in fire from the inside.

After resting for what felt like 4 hours, I decided to refine the same amount of Void essence.

The process went smoother than the last, and I was able to barely hold on till all of the essence was refined by my body. I could almost handle the process of refining the essence after refining about 5 more molecules of Void essence while taking breaks that lasted for about a few hours after refining.

After refining about 8 more I was able to handle it without my meridians being torn apart, then Chen Xiao had told me that I needed about 85 for to equal 100 to be able to barely handle the lower tier 1 Void essence. Then I would need to refine 1,000 to be able to handle mid tier 1 Void essence.
