Chapter 19: Reality

There was a level of cultivation where you wouldn't need to absorb the Essence manually, your body would automatically absorb the Essence/Qi from the surroundings when your meridians and pores had opened up a significant amount.

The cultivation technique that I was practicing would aid in me reaching that goal earlier than those regular cultivators had taken, some would take years as they would need to break through to the Qi Sea Refinement.

That would take them years as every level that they had progressed would get 1.5 times more difficult, then when they reached Qi Sea Refinement realm they would be able to integrate it into their Qi Sea which would then allow them to control the Essence from the surroundings slightly and would also allow them to perform battle techniques by utilizing the Essences to attack their enemy.

There were a lot of people out there that would get stuck in the Body Refinement realm and would never be able to progress in their lifetimes, like a small cities mayor in the vast world. The amount of people that would get stuck in the realms was unimaginable and grows everyday as they seek the fruit of immortality from the clutches of the heavens itself.

But I seek to rise above the powerful and to break out from the clutches of it and the grasp of the heavens as I wish to return back to my previous world and to discover the mysteries in the universe there and to get revenge for my past self as my heart demons would one day take over me if I couldn't handle them.

As my determination had gone up, I decided to break through to Body Refining Level 3 so that I could see what Chen Xiao had planned for the 'Trial' that he had specifically wanted me to be at Level 3 of Body Refinement.
