Devouring Immortal

The real reason that I had left her alone and hadn't did anything was that I didn't want to go through a classic love cliche in the novels, where the hero saves the "beauty" then she "falls in love" with him.


I already knew that if that had happened then that greedy bastard would have started to follow me and would probably stalk me as she would be too curious for her own good.


The other reason is that I wouldn't want my family to know that I was still alive as that would ruin my plans for the future.


I planned on making their company go bankrupt so as to not arouse any suspicion I would give their competitors key information on their products as I had also worked in the company for a while and had secretly came across a formula for some medicine that was their main seller, I also found some other formulas for what i'm guessing would turn out to be other things that might be medicine, face cream, etc.


The list goes on with all of the health care products in the business, tho I know that they aren't technically considered medicine, but some people like to use medicine to get rid of their weaknesses like my ex.  With makeup she was sort of cute but without it she could pose as an orc from WOW at a comm-icon convention as she used layer after layer of foundation, beauty cream, etc.  


But I guess that when she grows up all of that external usage of beauty supply will make her skin look even more disgusting as even the gods couldn't save her, even if they could it would have been wasted on someone like herself.


Either way it had nothing to do with me, I had wanted to figure out what had changed in the past year so I thought what better way to see than to go somewhere with a computer.


The fragmented memories of Chen Xiao's that he had lent me had also had data about the process of computer science as there were plenty dimensions like the current Earth that had advanced in technology and had build atomic weapons and had then doomed themselves during the process of a war.


Their technology was light years ahead of the current Earth's technology and a modern weapon such as a gun was never used, even during the toughest times as even electromagnetic weapons were common, the uncommon things were the black matter weapons.  Those weapons would be able to blow a large crater in the current Earth's crust and even get one fifths to the core, that was how lethal the power of a black matter weapon was, no need to even mention the use of a large scale bomb.


I decided that if I was to make a superpower my own that I would have to tap into those memories and to build mass weapons of destruction so as to prevent any superpower from underestimating me.


I soon sorted out my thoughts and had come to the conclusion that even a modern gun would be able to threaten me, not to mention the rocket launchers or even the radioactive nukes that some nations had in their arsenal.


I started to head towards the local library and to learn some information about where I was and what had taken place during the past year.


And after that I would try and see how to ruin the life of my ex now that I had the surprising chance to encounter her again.


"This is going to be fun!" I thought as a malicious smile crept onto my face but soon disappeared as soon as it had returned.
