In an hour, the chauffeur reached the main house and notified Yiyang. "Eldest Young Miss, we have arrived."
Yiyang who seemed to be in a stupor was suddenly pulled back into reality upon hearing the chauffeur's declaration. Looking outside, she saw the Xu's family house standing proud, elegant and celestial. It has been the Xu's main family's home for so many decades already yet it was still the same well maintained and luxurious mansion every family in the Capital dreams of getting into. Before going out of the car, Yiyang took a deep breath and got out of the car to walk towards the main entrance.
As she walked into the mansion's entrance, several workers greeted her saying one thing. "Welcome back, Eldest Young Miss." She nodded and smiled faintly at each one of them. Greatly thankful for coming out and greeting her when she arrived.
Just then, the head maid, Auntie Yu who seemed to be on the verge of crying, greeted her happily. "Eldest Miss, oh my, you're really back. Let me call the old madam. Take a seat first. You might be tired from the long flight." Yiyang can only nod and take a seat in the nearest sofa. Looking around, everything is still the same just like four years ago.
Auntie Yu who had gone to the gardens to inform the old madam found her chatting with the old master. Still, Auntie Yu decided to inform the old couple. Seeing Auntie Yu, Yiyang's mother asked, "Is there something wrong, Maid Yu?" Maid Yu answered in return, "Old master, Old madam, the eldest young miss had arrived."
Upon hearing Maid Yu's words, Yiyang's mother was shocked and yet elated. She turned to her husband and asked. "Old Xu, is our Yingying really home? Did she really listen this time to come home? Tell me I'm not dreaming." Yiyang's father had no choice but to calm down his wife who's about to cry upon hearing that their daughter had really returned and said, "Our Yingying has really returned so you better not cry and meet her now." The old couple then stood up from their seats and rushed over to the main house's living room where their daughter is waiting.
Yiyang who's been waiting at the living room suddenly sat up straight upon hearing her mother's call for her. In a matter of seconds, Yiyang's mother emerged from the garden and saw her. Yiyang's mother can't help but rush to her and cry, "You, silly girl. How could you only come home now? Will you really not come home if it weren't for your father being hospitalized?"
At a loss on her mother's complain as to why she only came home now, Yiyang can only say, "Mum, I'm home now. Don't be too agitated and be happy now, okay?"
"There you go. Always not listening to me and changing the topic. I'll forgive you for now because you might be tired. Go up and rest, hmm?" Yiyang's mother replied. "Your mum's right, Ying. You better rest first." Yiyang's father added. In the end, Yiyang's parents can only sigh and let their eldest daughter rest.
As Yiyang was about to go upstairs, a sweet voice chimed in from the stairs asking, "Who arrived? Why is everyone so noisy?"
