Two steps at a Timeline

Speaking of steps, why would I think I could even take a step into the Field without instantly getting invites to guilds... Specifically the Crafting ones.

While not all Crafting guilds are the same, most of them " Enslave " New players to farm for minerals, while it levels up their mining they can never " Get better " at hitting rocks with a sharper rock. Its not like their is a skill for mining... developers thought that giving crafting classes too many skills would cause something bad to happen... AKA the birth of a MC.

It's easy to ignore the smaller ones, they usually give up after one or two invites. The big ones will usually send someone to recruit personally... it will take a while so I have time.

So I'm picking weeds.

While they are called weeds, that's not the true name for them... it's just im not high enough level Gathering to know. In reality I'm getting Paralysis Grass and some Luminated Root.

You can't never have too much Luminated Root, it generates light when broken like a glow stick, and was often used as a replacement for torches during the early days of the game... but I have another use for them.

Flash Bangs

Its a low level Gun type charector exclusive craft, it can temporary blind enemies. You can only have 3 at a time though...

But, before I knew it I cleared out the entirety of the grass lands! Good thing there isn't any inventory limit.

Gained:

x 1026 Paralysis Grass

x 496 Luminos Root

x 329 Grass

Oh, I picked up some normal grass...

Not a bad haul if I say so myself! Wich I am, because I'm talking to myself right now. Zing.

So, do I think I could fight the wolves right now... short answer yes.

But...

I. Need. Apples.

I can ascertain it's impossible to break into a Player's orchard, or one even ran by a player... a level 40 or so gaurds is likely.

So where too... Ahh.

Uncle Dough's quest. " Gather Apples from Uncle Dough's Orchard. "

If I ask nice enough I could probably get some apples from him... I think he is the only NPC that owns an orchard that isn't player run. Except for quests based ones obviously.

Alright, it's only a 20 minute walk there so let's... start walking I guess. Man I miss my mount...

And my elemental companion...

And my Demon Wolf mount...

I said mount twice?

Man, it fucking sucks to get PKed. I probably made alot of others feel this way...

There's nothing I can do about it now though. Water under the bridge continues to flow. It's not like I can apologize with gifts or something.

Ah, what a familiar smell... Uncle Dough's Pie is always regarded as Divine in my books, honestly why I stick around this game is the luxury you earn... sure you can get that luxury for free in HUB or in a different game... but here it feels special.

I met the man himself, Uncle Dough.

He was short, covered in flour, and completely serene... he just exudes an aura of comfort. I decided to inquire about him simply...

Me - " Excuse me sir, but are you the famed ' Uncle Dough?"

Uncle Dough - " I ascertain enough, I otta still be Kicking all these years to not let anyone take me title, lest youth take me orchard..."

Me - " Ah, of course! It's an honor to meet you... I've heard plenty about you but never brought myself to visit. Recently however I heard you've been having trouble with something... is there anything i can do to help? "

It was a mixture of truths and lies, half truths too. For one I have already technically met him, in my previous account. And I was never told anything about him needing help, it was simply the easiest way to trigger the quest.

Speaking of quest.

Uncle Dough - " Well lad, that's about the best thing I've heard all day... I can't climb a ladder to reach me apples anymore... but your a tall fellow! Harvest my apples for me, and I'll let you have some... deal? "

Me - " Deal, I won't disappoint you. "

I smiled with an Evil grin as I picked the apples, it took a few minutes but the deed was done.
