The effects of the simple gust spell was muitiplied by 16 times with magic null active. Simply to say it was no small wind... unfortunately since I'm not a full caster I won't be able to pull that off.
- " This is the effect of making the walls on the Mana plane stronger, you get a more accurate result in what the spell is truly designed to do with the magic power it holds. The liquid is only and dangerous as it's containment. "

- " Yes, but that isn't the only way to mess with spells. For example, spells can interact with each other... such as wind magic boosting fire type magic. "
A - " How is that so? "
- " To understand the full complexities of magic combinations, you must understand the elements it's derived from. Fire, how does it burn? "
A - " Fuel, right? "
- " Yes, but what happens when you dump water into a fire? "
A - " It gets put out? "
- " Of course, now why does that happen? "
A - " Is it something related to Mana? "
- " No, actually. You see, fire needs three things to be in existence. Fuel, Air, and heat.
A heat source is responsible for the initial ignition of fire, and is also needed maintain fire and enable it's spread, Heat allows fire to spread by drying out and preheating nearby fuel and warming surrounding air.
Fire is a result of combustion, which is a rapid exothermic reaction. This reaction requires oxygen in absence of which, combustion cannot occur. That's why the fire doesn't burn in absence of oxygen.
Fuel is self explanatory. "
A - " So much complexity, just in normal fire alone! "
- " Yes, quite. So, the way fire spells work is that Mana is substitute for fuel, Wich is also used to provide friction for heat. But the way that it creates friction Is a bit weird. You see, it doesn't use normal Mana for this, but rather a flavoured " Fire " Mana Wich produces heat when gathered.
For other forms of Magic, similar methods are used. Ice is the result in a low temperature in water, so the Mana created for that is an Anti-Heat Mana Wich destroys heat. This allows the creation of Ice and also is why fire mages and ice mages counter each other. Neither can use spells properly if they are of the same power. "
A - " Ahh, so for more complex spells... you mix these types of Mana in a way that provides a better result? "
- " Yes, to do so... you must align different spells on top of each other, such as the simple blaze spell and the gust spell. The complexity lies in the merging of such, as different Mana types have different ways of combining. Wind has one output, but fire outputs in all directions at the same time. "
A - " Alright... so like that... and that.... ah! Done ! "
- " Good job, eventually you'll be able to combine high level spells together, like Typhoon and Buster Blaze. But just before that, I'll teach you one simple trick that I love to use when making fire magic. "
A - " Another trick of yours? "
- " Yep, this one is tricky though. Fire likes to move around alot, when an area is full of dust it likes to leap between the dust particles... causing an explosion. Try and combine the weakest Earth magic you can possibly make and fire, specifically try and make the Earth magic form into dust. "
A - " Dust? That's simple for an ArchMage!"
