Craftiness pays off ( Pt 2 )

Good game, let's get some more crafting done.

Robe... huh. System?

Understood, buying the highest quality robe material.

Thanks.

Purchased Ancient Dragon Fiber

Modifiers, Blood and Curse

Alright... let's get robe making, so... I'm guessing just a witch outfit would be good, so I'll create a long flowing robe with a loose collar... maybe a witches hat too.

Weaving Mana thread in-between the fibers isn't hard as expected... I guess im getting better at it. The robe is slowing coming into shape, I made the Mana thread turn red so I can weave nice shapes into it... you know, like skulls and tendrils.

After I finish working on the robe, Wich I enforced with ridiculous amounts of Mana Crystals... it's time for the hat. Honestly I never made a hat, so I'm using the system for the most part... just for the shape really, I can decorate and add crystals to the hat.

In the end, the robe and hat are a metallic grey, red tendrils of Mana seems to almost come to life... extending from the end of the sleeve down to where the fore arm is, dead on the back is a red skull that is accompanied by similar tendrils that out swirl around it. The hat has no images sewn into it, rather it has a pattern of dots around the base.

[ Grants a passive Mana barrier, active Mana barrier, control over unique " Blood tenrdils ", 200% intake increase. ]

[ Desc." These robes were formed by a heavenly crafter for a being that mastered curse arts. The wearer was said to have the ability to spin webs, such inclinations seem to describe similar attributes to a related God that similar robes were based on " - Horace Mortion ( Cultist analysis, 1203 DE )

... That's some good effects, active and passive Mana barrier is pretty strong... that description worries me though, is that a quote from the future?

No evidence that the desc is beyond ramblings of the system, it's beyond me wether or not the system could see into the future... I surely can't

Aren't you...

Reminder, I'm a lesser A.I. acting as the system for you.

Oh yeah, forgot. Anyways...

Half Plate for Dice.

... Easy ...

I mean, it's just half Plate. you get the plate, the chain mail, and the leather.

I have all of those, right system?

Yes.

Easy, what kind of leather do I have again?

Demon leather, recently acquired

Alright.... so, demon type... since she does Poisons... do I have any Poison type demon leather?

High Grade Barbed Demon's Hide

Yeah uh, that. Deposit that one.

Confirmed

Youch, it is barbed... the skin itself has large thorns like a rose, it's a weird shade of green too. Haha, too bad thorns don't work against guns... I don't see why they would though. So, system... can you make the leather base for me?

Confirmed.

Nice, a perfect leather... what's it called? I don't know, but it's the thing that goes beneath chainmail.

I'm very smart aren't I.

No, that's the answer. Im not.

Huh, chainmail again.. yeah uh, system?

Gotcha

Thanks buddy.

Next up, the plate. Let's use the demon parts to create a proper plate of " Metal " Any parts that I could use that you'd recommend system?

| I recommend Demon General Horns, they are tough and sturdy... also they are used for magic channeling, do they would make excellent conductors for Mana crystals.

Speaking of Wich, I've created a simple use system for Mana crystal creations, Wich I copied down into a book now in your inventory, you should take a look some time. |

Sure, it might be worth the read...

Ahem, right. Where was I again?

Plate.

So, by now I've done my cool plate no jitsu plenty of times for it to be a fetish. This time I'll go into the detail of the making of the bone to plate process.

Important steps:

• Grind Starting Material into powder

• Create a liquid of Mana.

• Mix

• Form into a crude brick

• Melt at high temperatures using magic

• Add muitple Mana crystal spheres

• Form the material around the crystals

• Form into a plate

• " Drill " Holes between crystals

• Use Mana thread to bind together

• Fill with material.

• Decorate

In the end, this produced the best results from testing. But, I'm not certain it's the best possible way to do it. For example, since Mana crystals are fragile alone and can't be sharpened, is using liquid Mana for solidation for the material a good idea?

I haven't tested such results yet, but I decided a substitute I might implement in the future. I'm just a bit paranoid that using such a substitute might end up in a product that hurts the people around me... I'm scared of accidentally hurting someone again.

Sigh... No! No time to be mentally unstable! It's Crafting time! I swear to Mordova I'll craft every bit of Equipment I listed by the end of this day!

So, it's a demon varient of my chest piece, huh? It's got the form switch too, I wonder... huh, well anyways...

How do I make a cool bow?

All my tricks are null to it, because each arrow has to be crafted. Quivers don't do anything but look nice. Mana thread isn't strong enough to bear the tension of being a draw string... and bows HAVE to be made of wood for some reason! Like, Pure fucking wood!

Why? I don't fucking know!

Damn it system, what do I do?

No Idea, maybe an item drop might substitute?

Is there a Divine level Blood type bow on the market system?

... no

Unfortunate.

So, maybe a bow isn't needed? I can't make a divine one no matter what I do because of dumb restraints like that, any reason why that's the case system?

Bows have to be wooden due to crossbows and guns taking up mixed and metal slots, due to the nature of the crafting system it's a nessasary compromise to allow the system create such things as items.

Ah piss, well... guess I can't do much for the then huh? Well, Jotun never specified that she wanted a bow... I guess I just assumed. So, then... Axe?

Jotun wields a katana... an axe as a back up weapon, I don't think she'll need one somehow.

So, anise... staff.

Uhh, staff. Huh, why can I make staffs out of metal?

Due to it being a magic type weapon, only wands take up magic type as well... but size is determined for it as such.

Badass, but that's fucking stuiped though.

Sigh, so... I made a staff for Melody that worked nice just by having a light crystal make nice pink light, so I guess I can do the same thing... but grey or something?

Yeah... I could use like Ashwood and demon metal mix for the base, same magic stone placement as Dragons Maw... and maybe I'll be able to make a unique weapon.

Ever since I started producing divine Weapons out my ass, I never got any of the special cool gods coming down and giving me the thumbs up... so I think making a unique weapon will change things up.

So, system... buddy old pal.

Confirmed.

Purchasing Ashwood + Ash Wyvern scales

Scales too? Was it a package deal?

Yes, it was a total 6 Platinum cheaper.

Did people really not want Ashwood?

They didn't want the scales

Ah? Weird.

So...

I began the structure of the staff, it was similar to the branch like design of Melody's, but I twisted the grey wood into more natural shapes than before, of course mixing it with demon metal... braiding it in almost.

For the ends of the staff, I decided to have one just rounded off with wood, where the other will be topped with a light magic Crystal. Programmed to make a soft grey glow. I made a small vein in the middle of the crystal, allowing the inner magic to flow through it, opening it at the end of the staff facing the same direction as the staff.

As for the additional crystals, similar to dragons maw I created a spiral of holes for the crystals to show their faces upon, but they are being used for the same magic rather than dragons maw.

Wasn't dragons maw divine actually? I don't remember...

After carefully making sure that I won't get killed instantly on touching it, it's complete.

To my surprise, nothing special happened unfortunately.

Name of a staff that Curses... or something that's a little grey? Maybe a pretentious name...

}{}{ I recommend using the name " Eitr " Due to it's nature in the surrounding myth. }{}{

Oh syn, good to see you. Can you tell me a bit about it?

}{}{ According to my sources, Eifr is the name of a powerful Poison and/or Curse that is only capable of production via melting of un meltable ice, it's known for being able to kill almost any creature imaginable. Due to it's rarity is scarcely used for anything beyond a ragnorokian type threat. This was chosen by your affinity with Ice, and your relation to Anise while also resembling the rarity of the staff and power of it as such. }{}{

Huh, that fits perfect actually. Thanks Syn, you far outpace me when it comes to names.

}{}{ No problem, Creator Cobalt. }{}{

So. Name it up system!

Confirmed

Name: Eifr

Additional ability added due to name: Poison Aura ( High ).

Ahah! So naming does make it stronger!

Hehe... alright onto the next -
