 A glorious reign over the realm only to be hunted, a glorious return only to be haunted. Avery Hall had a fair share of experience when it came to the many layers of humanity. 
 


With the death of our real world in the future, everyone gets digitized and becomes... well, Immortal. To a degree.

But how to do you spend immortality?

Video Games... of course, with everything being digital... and with Hyper Advanced A.I... it's possible to create games that simulate what reality used to be like.

 Our story takes place in Starduster MMO, a fantasy based MMO game where the game's story is run mainly by player choice, with any choice being an important factor into anything.

Our main point of view is Avery Hall, who specializes in the Sniper Class, a long range damage class that uses a Rifle. He is quite efficient at making use of all he has available, and is kind of a jerk.

Avery also has been preventing the Progress of the game by holding on to a Key Artifact, other players find out about this and after a while decide they don't want him around anymore.

 While normally death lowers levels... his reputation is too low within the game and he gets banned, luckily he has a second account, as most V.I.P. users in the world do...

 Avery, swears to return the status quo, but maybe he'll be good this time... hopefully, habits take a long time to stop.

 So we join Avery's journey to get back to the top, just make sure he doesn't forget to properly transfer accounts.

Like fire under a stallion we are going through these supposed trials pretty quickly, about thirty minutes I think?


          Anywho, it's likely this might take long...testing Patience maybe? Well, I guess I am pretty patient... I did spend fifteen days experimenting with the first crafted hoverboard without stopping, and as far as I remember I didn't whine or bitch about it. 


  My Aloofness? My incompetence as a friend? My whole emotional spectrum bullshit? STDs? 


        Jokes aside, I'm a little worried.


    I have been put in worse situations... I think I really just hunkered down during most of them if I remember correctly. The whole " Where is she? " bit pulled away from my whatever happened.... I think there was like, enemies taking the appearing of Asi and Dice? I don't remember much... 


        I guess that's to be expected, the system did remove some memories of mine right? Maybe it's not entirely accurate. Beyond that, how would I get charmed if I was in the H.U.B. I don't think there are game mechanics there, and also I really doubt the system just let me be charmed for 27+ years. 


    Maybe I lied to myself so hard I was convinced? Is that the case?


  Wow, It's been such a long loading time I've started reflecting on myself metaphysically.


   I'll just have to compile all of my memories and try to find out which ones are lies, which are true, and what I am missing.


          ) Alright mortal, it's time for your third trial... despite the wait. This time you'll get information about what you need to do. (

   ) Nothing much, those Gods and companions of yours are having a real tough time trying to get you out of my grasp. Little do they know you will be rewarded for your work eventually. (


       I see, I guess I did make quite the powerful connections then... any who I don't want to get distracted, what's the trial?


 ) You will have to face a bit of your past, make amends and put old worries to rest... Crimson. (


  ) Yes, first off... you will have your ice crusader gear for this. You will actually have to fight some of  your memories here, but others can be solved through talking... you'll know which ones are which. (
