Walls crush me once more, before pressing down inside of me.

It hurts a teensy bit more this time, but still... nothing I can't handle. Luckily for me, it ended earlier than I expected so I can study some more. Recently there has been some huge changes in the game to try and rebalance!

Crafting classes all received a major buffs, granting them a few skills that help make equipment... unfortunately its still not enough so I've heard, but the changes to Alchemist are amazing!

As opposed to just strength of mind to use Alchemy, its a functioning resource now similar to; Mana, Stamina, Health.

This might mean, that like Mana you can crystalize it and program it... but, thinking of that brings other ideas too! Crystallizing Health and Stamina, maybe I could make those eventually!

Magic Casters received a slight nerf, casting times and mana cost have been increased... but there is something else that's important too.

Classes with weapons other than swords, knives, and bows are now viable... such weapons can get special techniques like the previously mentioned items, meaning that dual spearman or magic spearmen are now possible... this also included things like whips and even boomerangs!

I'd hate to have to fight against a Dual Lance user, if I remember... Lance users get huge stat bonuses while mounted, and its basically doubling it with the new patch.

Its quite interesting seeing the changes, some don't make quite the amount of sense to me... like playing card users, they received huge nerfs for some reason.

I can only think of like, two situations where they are usable... tarot card readings and gambling, now there may be something else to do with them... but I can think of anything.

They Nerfed stealth monsters by a huge margin apparently, I guess that's helpful if I go to the overgrowth.

...

Oh, Jotun made a post?

That's quite interesting, " A Guide on Combating System Users. " An interesting name, and it might give me some insight... but before getting into that, it looks like the System has decided that she should be called ' Jotun Hall ' in the post, I don't know what to think about that.

After reading through her Author's notes, it seems this is a detailed methodology of every weapon, strategy, magic, gear type, and other such variables in combat... and how to combat them.

In example, she lists the best way to deal with a Dual Swordsman is to get offensive, strike horizontally and kick the opponents chest. Thinking this through a little bit, I can see such example working under most contexts... but it depends heavily on the blade types which she hasn't covered.

A Dual swordsman can wield anything from a short sword to a human sized meat cleaver... the kick wouldn't be effective on the short sword, and the slice wouldn't be effective on the cleaver. Despite this, her advise is very solid for learning matchups.

Its a case by case basis in this game to be honest, considering everything possible in this game... extra lives, charm magic, hell... someone could turn into a dragon. So, you have to be aware first most... and second most, you have to be prepared.

I try to comment on her post, just to see the results... unlike what I thought was going to happen, that being me miraculously being able to do it, I still couldn't comment.

So, instead I'll write in the public chat.

> Jotun, your combat guide is very well made. I'd personally mention various differences in weapon, armor, or casting type... but overall, this is very good. Well done!

I think... I'm going to try and sleep now, I haven't yet but I'm not feeling tired... however it feels wrong to go so long without sleeping. They say sleep is needed for complex thought.

And I...

Think.

Well... sometimes atleast.

I can't sleep.

Its too damn bright in here.

So... I guess more study.

I'm looking through different guides for all sorts if things, maybe if I look in warlock combined with farmer there will be a strategy that when combined with something else will become broken... but that's just a thought. So far, I've seen little such strategies.

Excluding many of the Mechanic type classes.

There is quite the bit of resource in there, artifacts of the past really... as it seems its fallen off as of recent. But it turns out, mechanics are really fucking strong! Like, if you combined Alchemist with Mechanic, you'd probably be able to create ridiculous machines.

In example, I saw a guide on how to make nano machines.

Nano. Machines.

Fuck. I am definitely going to make some of these, their uses are immediately obvious... despite it seeming like mechanics use it for solely armor or armaments, rather than the many ideas that come to mind!

I could make healer type ones that live in my blood veins constantly healing me, or a reactive barrier made of nano machines made from Artificial Stygian Bronze, upgrades to exosuits, different layers of exosuits, upgrades to Syn and the Turrets... just... the possibilities are immense!

As soon as I get out of here, I'm making so much stuff! Hahaha!

Ha...

Ha.

I'm falling into the same rhythm again, craft and kill huh?

Fuck it... I guess that's just my personality.
