We are now crossing the large ' Desert ' made of ash and burned wood chips, surprisingly is smells really good between the patches of Gunpowder and Sulfur. But you know, it is what it is.
Jotun... wants to fight. That's a little bit, well. odd. I offered a duel to Dice when I got back despite her denial, but I guess that's to be expected of me. Jotun offering me a duel as soon as I get back though is well, it seems... forced. Not like in a bad way or anything but, it doesn't seem like a natural thing to do. I'd expect maybe discussing her experiences while out or asking for advice on combat... something other then directly asking for a fight.
I'll have to ask her why later but, until then I got to deal with my Levels. I didn't really go through then yet and for good reason, I am an idiot. So, time to check...
Level... 20. I... barely leveled up!
Damnit... well, at least I got some good stuff for the most part. Tonight I'll be able to combine my titles and do some overall editing to my build. I theory crafted a better use for battle alchemist, especially considering the secondary class.
Checking my Stat Points... it looks like I got plenty. Weirdly enough, it doesn't seem to add up perfectly... I didn't get to see how many I get per level but, no matter what I can't think of which number times 20 equals 47.
Well, math time...

2.305? That's... Odd! What influenced it that way... well its 47 points. I'll put 4 points into every stat... leaving 27 points to put into intelligence. I will absolutely need this, everything I do is related to Intelligence in someway... disregard HP sacrificing and Dex for my rifle.
I don't think I'll be using a Rifle anymore.
Its... well, its a very good weapon don't get me wrong... but Blood Magic, Alchemical Magic, and Blossom Magic... they are all very good, especially together. I'm a Triple Caster for fucks sake, usually only NPCs get to do this...
Not to say Players don't... I've seen some mages using 6 different types of magic, they were low class magic but that doesn't matter.
Speaking of Magic... Anise has studied it for years, improving my theory and testing everything I have yet to do... beyond that she has combined hundreds of variations of Magic, in fact... It's time to inspect profiles again huh?

Some of these... well, they are different from what I gathered at Hell. Of course, the period I noted down their progress was about halfway through the entirety of the process... about 9 years then.
This list fills me with great pride, I helped grow these people, I grasped their lives and pulled them into a favorable direction... that makes me... happy, content, and most of all... proud. I'm proud that they managed to take what little I gave them, and push it to the end.
But, before I even comprehend what is going on after this train of thought I'm in bed. Alone. This is favorable to be honest, I don't want to have to deal with the significant amount of heat that they exude. There body must be boiling away under all their Carapaces, I can't imagine how they handle being under a blanket...
Its... time for rest. First thing in the morning is Coffee, then combat. I don't usually do Coffee but I'll probably need it tommorow.
So, I lay my head down... and rest.

With a Yawn, I awoke to the sight of Scarab hovering over me with small wings. The light emanating from him was soft and cozy to me, but it filled me with energy.
- " Good Morning Scarab, I'm Ready as always. Nice wings might I mention? They look very nice on you... and have you grown? "

Scarab passed through the air swiftly, heading outside my temporary accommodations. Today I'm going to fight Jotun, I haven't an idea on how its going to go but well, Its an opportunity to teach my allies. I will always take the chance to do something like that... excluding when I forget.
After a small breakfast and a coffee, I went outside to ask around for where to look for Jotun, apparently she was at the ' Arena '. So, I had to have Scarab escort me there. Lately, Scarab had been following me around as long as I'm at base, like a personal manager! Its great to have him around, he seems so full of energy and positivity... I wonder where he gets it all from.
After a small walk around the base, sight seeing as I go... I meet a few people here and there, giving small talk and such. Its quite a lovely community we have here when we aren't fighting, everyone seems pretty nice... even the edgy type guys. I guess either I command some sort of respect from everyone to get this treatment, or this is just how it is here.
Either way, I'm glad. Positivity never hurt anyone... except maybe atoms and such but... those aren't people. They are atoms. Do they render this game down to the atoms?
So, the arena is only so far ahead according to Scarab, its a stone obelisk smoked with black marbling, at the base I spot Jotun. After the brisk walk over, I meet her and ask if this is where we will fight.
" We got to both touch the stone at the same time, it will take us to a different plane where we can not only go all out but... it will also allow you to use your full power. "
- " Full Power? " I question " I have had many iterations of that, what does that entail? "
" Its simple really, " she answered " The Stone will combine all power gained throughout your time in StarDuster no matter when... and it gives you all of it to use. "
- " This stone alone does it? What is it? "
" A special PVP checkpoint, it allows easier use of PVP considering everything that happened in terms of gear. Basically for the Arena players who don't want to fall in rankings cause they lost their gear. "
