Solipsism!

Clouds gathered into a storm above Cobalt's head as he worked with never ending dedication... his arms flung each part of the gathering weapons into form, and each time he created a weapon...another soon followed, and with each a soul bound inwards.

His blurred eyes carefully measured each millimeter on each metallic blade to ensure they matched up, effortlessly they never ceased to be perfect. Despite his vision being impaired, he still saw into each possibility that drove the blade to success.

Not being willing to laze around, Jotun sharped and engraved the blades using her own techniques learned from her countless years of battle experience, stolen weaponry formed every sigil she implanted into the complete blades... Cobalt bent the laws of physics and pulled through the metal like putty, pushing it through it's own self and hardening.

The sigils glistened like gold under a dragon's gaze, it resonated with the steel that effortlessly contained the holy souls absorbed and easily drew in magic power from it's surroundings and creators. They worked in harmony, each piece of the weapon flowed together and ceased to resist, instead empowering each other and becoming more than the sum of it's parts.

Just as the pair did, they seemingly couldn't get along at first glance... but underlying that rash and abrasive rift between them lied a connection that could only be forged by family... it faintly reminded Cobalt of his time on Earth with his old family, but he didn't draw any memories nor could be bothered to do so... he was doing something important, for his daughter.

Despite the lack of anything relating the two, the System made it so... and as such there was no argument. There was no way to dispute the near omnipotent being, even if it was flawed.

The blades neatly formed into groups, first 10. Then 5. Then 3. Then 1. They fused, the blade contorted as it's resounded shape was pounded out by black energy that flowed from the distilled metal.

The Metal was an experiment.

Not just the Blood/Ice... but there was an energy that was different from Mana entirely inside... Void. It took tremendous effort from Cobalt... but deep within him the energy laid, though it held seemingly no use... there was always a use for everything in crafting with Alchemical Power.

The energy collected itself into droplets of liquid, though it didn't behave to the laws of gravity nor did it follow the behavior that Cobalt wanted... but he was determined to use it somehow, and so it was given it's own place within the weapon, a large vein of the starry liquid was laid dormant in the weapon.

The blade reformed, transforming from it's original design of a bastard sword into a... a Japanese style sword.

It wasn't a Katana, but the blade curved as one would... the handle was more like a crescent moon than an actual sword handle, but the most confusing piece was the lack of a hand guard.

Hand guards were very important in blades... their purpose was almost as necessary as the handle, it's purpose is to prevent the hand from slipping off the handle onto the blade... without it... this blade could be dangerous to wield.

It's color was entirely black, but it had a surrounding energy of a golden aura... most likely the holy aspect of it was the aura while the coloring was derived from the new void energy.

It held a kingly look to it, like something in a kingdom's banner formed to reality... more so, it called it faintly despite lacking a voice, almost as if the void was begging to be filled.

Jotun gleamed as her blade came to life, her energy furthered by the unique and exhilarating design... it certainly looked harder to wield than any normal sword... as such, there was no doubt this would be uncontested by any weapons not made by Cobalt.

She decided to name the blade, it was hers after all. Ordanti, that is what she called it... named after the moon that blessed the world of StarDuster... it was perfect for her, she had always loved the cool light of the moon.

Cobalt was busy over analyzing every aspect of the blade.

' What is that design? '

' That can't be a blade from Earth... but... '

' The Void energy... it changed the design... '

' Could... this apply to living beings? Would it be possible for creatures to be changed with the void? Could I... do it to myself? '

Such thoughts are dangerous, as such Cobalt began attempting to distract himself from such burning questions... he contemplated the name of the weapon design, he wanted something simple this time.... he thought of blades originated from Earth... he thought of forging techniques and other such things when the name he decided on came to be.

The curved blade were similar to Japanese style weapons, which are famous due to their tempering processes... he decided on...

' Void Tempered Blade '

Cobalt lacked in one aspect more than any other, thar aspect was naming sense.

Confirmed

Void Tempered Blade

Desc. " Umbra Sulfa... I call... your flesh into blade... rake... oh Night, oh glistening moon..."

Please stand by while I analyze this Blade, it is foreign to StarDuster... it may be from something far beyond the knowledge of the system...

Complete. This Blade seems to have transformed itself int- ___-#_ERROR_-_--##

Confirmed. This blade seems to interfer with outside influences, and it does seem to be able to resist even the System. I cannot put this into a ranking category... unfortunately.

I'll have to instead try and... rework the weapon, sorry for the inconvenience... I'll have this done as fast as possible for ID:AI.Jotun, user ID:VIP.AveryHall.

Cobalt had no words after this point.

Jotun had lots. Including but not limited to swears, but more often then not she swore... not out of anger but of glee, she had a blade that surpassed the system in it's true form... though she worried it wouldn't be as strong when the system was done with it.... but, it mattered not.

Cool sword!
