Chapter 10 – Central City

All the spectators were horrified by the explosion. Some of them were blasted off from their seats.

"That move took a toll on my body. I can't feel my lower body anymore." Alan thought.

"The move was overkill, but worth it. Did he die? He should be dead now." He thought while hovering in the air.

Unfortunately, after the explosion settles down, everyone could see that there was a man who stood in front of James, who had blocked Alan's attack just now.

One of Alan's eyebrows raised upwards, "Hmm? What is the meaning of this, Uncle?" he asked the man below.

The man was James's father, Norbert. He jumped out and blocked the attack for James, who had fainted because of fear.

"That's enough. You should have self-constraint, not acting like a lawless person." Norbert said.

"Oh, but just now, when he tried to kill my sister, Mary, why did you not stop it? Alan calmly asked.

"That's a fight between youngsters. I don't want to interfere." Norbert replied.

"Yes, it's a fight, not a deathmatch. What, you think my sister's life is not worth as much as your son?" Alan asked.

"Don't be rude, Alan, or I will punish you myself on your father's behalf." Norbert snapped out.

"Haha! Don't talk funny shit like that in front of me, you hypocrite." Alan chuckled.

"How dare you! I'm your elder!" Norbert was angry.

"My elder? No, you're not worthy. Angry? Come then." Alan coolly said while making the 'fight me' gesture with his finger.

"Don't act strong when you're not!" Norbert shouted.

Norbert jumped towards Alan, who was in the air and tried to punch him. Norbert was a class C upper-tier combatant who was stronger than the ape king.

After Alan refined God's blood and Zeus's lightning, he could fend off the attack easily, but he never thought that Zeus's lighting could wear off his body this much as it was the first time he used it.

"My body is still weak, even with God's blood, it still can't withstand Zeus's lightning. If I had known this beforehand, I would just kill that shit right away instead of bullying him." Alan thought.

"Erica!" Alan calmly said.

Before the attack hits Alan, Erica elegantly waved her arm from her seat. The simple move that she made pushed Norbert so hard.

"Run! That man is going to crash here!" the spectators shouted.

*Crash

A part of the stadium's building crumbled, and Norbert had fainted between in the rubbles.

Alan equipped the Star Sword. He flashed and appeared in front of James, who was lying on the ground.

"Argh!" James grunted and tried to open his eyes. He saw Alan, who was in front of him with his sword, which was emitting a terrifying aura.

"When I say, you will die, no matter what, you will die." Alan calmly said.

Alan raised the swords and slashed towards James. "NO!" James screamed before his head was cut off, and blood squirting out from his neck.

"Ding! Level up!" the system announced.

"Hmm? Killing people also give out exp? Nice." Alan thought.

Alan's body wore out so badly. He could not stand correctly before his body swayed to the front, but before his body falls to the ground, Erica jumped out and caught him in her embrace.

"You're careless." Erica gently said. She knew what's going on with Alan's body.

"Haha. Yeah, I know, it's fine anyway, you're here." Alan calmly said.

"Yes, but you're reckless just now." Erica worriedly said.

"Jasmine…" Alan muttered.

"Hmm?" Erica was confused.

"When I'm sleeping on your lap, I was wondering what's smell so nice that you're wearing, so it's jasmine, I like it…" Alan muttered before he lost his consciousness and fainted in on Erica's chest.

"I'm…glad you like it…" Erica smiled while blushing.

"My lady Sovereign was always blushing red when she with Alan. One day, she'll become a tomato." Rose quietly said.

"Shh! What if she heard what you're saying?" Lukas warned.

"Humph! I'm her mother-in-law to be, it's okay." Rose said.

Erica was a class SS combatant. Naturally, all of her physical attributes are excellent. When she heard what Rose said just now, she could not help but flushed more than ever.

In Alan's chamber.

"Argh…" Alan opened his eyes.

He looked beside him. Erica was sleeping while hugging his arm.

"Erica…" Alan called softly.

Erica opened her eyes and saw Alan, who was staring at her. "My Lo-…Alan."

"Good morning…How's your sleep?" Alan asked.

"It's good," Erica replied.

"Come here." Alan hugged her.

"Un." Erica smiled and snuggled in his arms.

After Alan and Erica being innocently lovey-dovey in the entire morning, they went to the dining room. Alan saw his parents, grandparents, and sisters were all eating on the same table.

Mary was healed by Snow family's healer by using their magic, now she looked energetic than before.

"Good morning," Alan said.

"What you mean morning, it's lunchtime already," Rose said.

"Haha…" Alan scratched his head.

"I'm going back to the academy." Alan suddenly said.

The dining room turned silent before a cheerful voice came in.

"Are you serious, big brother? Are you going to the Academy? Yay!" Alice excitedly asked.

"Grandson is a genius. He should go." Rufus said.

"But…it's dangerous out there" Rose bit her lips. She was worried if she will lose her son again.

"Don't worry, mother, Erica, and Cerberus will be going with me." Alan smiled.

"Cerberus?" Rose confusedly asked.

"Oh, sorry. Cerberus!" Alan said.

Suddenly a summoning magic circle appeared on the ground. Not long after that, a handsome butler came out.

"Yes, Master." Cerberus calmly said.

Everyone in the room, including Erica, was shocked.

"You're a summoner, Alan?" Lukas asked.

"Summoner? You can say so, I guess." Alan shrugged.

"Hahaha! Our Alan is one in a million genius prodigy!" Rufus laughed.

"In a million? I'm the only genius prodigy." Alan thought.

"I will go after a few days," Alan said. He wanted to level up to at least level 30 first before going to Central City.

"Then, you must spend more time with grandma here," Andrea said.

"Of course." Alan smiled.

"Come, let grandma kiss you." Andrea moved forward.

Alan stepped backwards, "G-grandma, I-I have something to do first. See you later!" Erica and Cerberus followed him.

"This brat…" Andrea smiled.

"Hahahaha, you've been rejected." Rufus laughed.

Andrea glared at Rufus, "What did you say?"

"N-Nothing…" Rufus carefully said.

All of them smiled, watching the couple's behaviour.

For the past few days, Alan had gone to the guild, levelled up to level 32, and spent his good time with his family.

"Oh, I should open the 'level up to 25' main quest reward." Alan thought before he opened his stats.

"Oh? Enhance it then." Alan coolly said.

"Ding! Star Sword Levelled up to tier 2." The system announced.

"I guess it about time to leave for Central City." Alan thought.

On the Snow family garage.

"This is a big ass garage they have here." Alan thought.

Suddenly the ground was shaking. It opened like a door before a vehicle came to the surface.

Alan was shocked. "U-UFO?"

The vehicle was shaped like an alien spaceship in the movies.

"UFO? What's that?" Alice asked.

"N-nothing." Alan managed to calm down.

Central City is a floating city in the sky of Unity where most of the talents gathered to study at the Academy.

"Let's go," Alan said to his sisters.

"Un. Let's go, big brother." They nodded.

"See you guys again." Alan waved his hand.

Alan held Erica's hand and walked into the spaceship.

The journey to Central City was about 2 hours as Unity had a speed limit for every spaceship flying in the sky.

Once they arrived at the destination, Alan was quite amazed to see a very big city floating in the sky by both magic and anti-gravitational technology.

"Magic and Science are being used together, what a time to be alive." Alan thought.

The spaceship flew into the outskirt of Central City territory and landed on the platform prepared. No spaceships are allowed into the Central City.

Alan and the group got out of the spaceship and proceeded to enter the city by walking.

"Stop!" a security officer halted them from entering.

Alan turned back to look at the officer, "What I can do for you?" he asked.

"You can't enter the city without a visitor pass." The security officer said.

Mary came forward, "Oh, we are not visitors, Mr officer, here are our identity card."

"S-student of the Academy…and…S-snow family?" the security officer was shocked. Being a student of the Academy was quite shocking but also from a powerful family? The security officer was nervous.

"Sorry for my mistake, you guys can come in." the officer said.

"It's okay," Mary replied.

"I guess Snow family's reputation is really strong in Unity. I bet a big part of it because of my sisters here. One is super smart, and one is super strong. Being the sisters of a genius prodigy suits them really well. Hehe." Alan thought while chuckling.

Once they entered the Central City, Alan was in awe.

"This is several times grander than any of the cities in my previous life." He thought.

The buildings were so tall and big. They were many futuristic cars, and the city was full of people.

The city was surrounded by an oxygen barrier as it was almost in the space.

"This is our new product…"

"Buy! Buy! Special discount!"

The city was very busy. Suddenly, someone called Alan's sisters.

"Mary! Alice! Here! Here!" a girl's voice shouted.

Alan searched the source of the voice before he saw a cute girl running towards them.

"Claudia! What are you doing here?" Mary asked.

"I was looking for something, by the way, how's your vacation?" Claudia asked.

"It's the best!" Alice excitedly replied. This vacation, they can see Alan once more.

"Great then," Claudia said before she looked at the beautiful boy teenager between both of Alice and Mary.

"Who is this? Both of you are the goddesses of the Academy. You can't hang around with just any people you see. You guys must have standards, like our Academy's John Pride."

"Of course we know this, our standards are the highest of them all. That's why we love him!" Mary excitedly said.

"Yes, no one is better than big brother." Alice nodded vigorously.

"B-big brother??! Is he your big brother? I thought he was crazy?" Claudia was stunned.

"Not anymore!" Mary shouted.

"Yeah! You better watch your mouth, Claudia!" Alice snapped out.

"Sorry, sorry!" Claudia apologized before she looked at Alan again.

"He was so handsome and more beautiful than me!!" Claudia took a glance at Alan again before their eyes met, and she saw Alan was smiling.

*Thump *Thump

Claudia was blushing. "Is he an angel??!"

Suddenly a woman wearing a veil squeezed through and stood beside Alan as she hugged his arm. She looked at Claudia as her eyes were saying, "Stay away for him. He's mine."

Claudia was bewildered. She can't see through the veil except for the eyes.

"My lady! That's my spot! Humph!" Alice pouted.

"This girl has become really aggressive. I wonder what she been through in those thousands of years." Alan thought while shaking his head.

"There, there. Let's go to the Academy, shall we?" Alan calmly said.

"Y-yes…" Claudia shyly said.

"Big brother is famous wherever he goes. Hehe." Mary chuckled.

Alan shook his head as he followed them to the Academy.

Not long after that, Alan saw a giant gateway. It's the Academy of Unity.

"It's been ten years, huh? I wonder if they still remember me. No matter what, I'm back." Alan thought while smiling.
