A horse?

WHAA!!! Where am I?

I was in a flat land, mostly brown with little to no trees and I was here. In the middle of nowhere. I was alone with no one by my side, is this the past? Or am I dead.

There was nothing so I decided to walk, just walk. As if this hadn't fazed me at all.

As I thought of what had happened, had I made the right choice? As I walked down the streets I see a truck approaching. Surely if I kept walking I would eventually get in its path. And sure enough I had.

It was a big risk trying to see if I would die. It was a risk I was willing to take and it paid off. What are the chances.

"Welcome" I heard a voice say in my mind. Similar to the voice I heard when I was in Eden. Out of instinct I turned around and saw a women.

Di-did you just say Welcome? I asked the women.

"I'm... no. Who are you? Where am I? I was in Tokyo just a second ago!" She looked at me, eagerly wanting. As if I had any information at all.

I was not the only one? Who else were in a similar situation I am in.

"Uhh... so you speak English" I said

"Yes but who are you? Where are we?" She repeated her questions.

I would confidently say we are in the past but that would be lying. I could say we died, but that would be lying.

"We're in the past" I said with confidence

"Wha... what! The past!"

"Yes! The past, if you did say 'welcome' just then. That would conclude that god was the one who said that... did you happen to encounter a life treating occurrence before you came here?"

"I'm.. yes but how do you know so much? Who are you?" She was cautious of me. Stepping a few inches back to gain distance.

"Well... I'm no one. I was in a car accident just a while ago, now here I am. Although this is not my first experience."

"Wait what?" She was genuinely confused. At a certain degree I was cautious of her. Was she what she really claimed to be? A girl from Tokyo who so happens to speak English perfectly?

"I said, I'm Adam."

" No that was not what you said! We're in the past? Then where are the dinosaurs? Did you kidnap me!" She gained more distance.

"No I did not! I don't even know you!"

"Then where are we?!" She asked once more.

This time I decided to ignore her and keep walking at a random direction. Why? Well what else was I suppose to do. She wouldn't listen nor is she believing anything I have said.

"Wait! Where are you going!?" She shouted up, as I turned around she was hesitating to come towards me. Yet I turned back and kept waking.

"Wa.."

As I kept walking, so did she. In a far distance I could see something. I know not what it is but I think it's a horse! Picking up speed I hurried towards the horse. And to my surprised as I got closer, it disappeared the moment I blinked. It wasn't as though I hadn't blinked as I ran towards it, but as I got closer it disappeared. How mysterious. As expected she was still following me.

"Did you see something?" I asked to see if I was hallucinating.

"I'm.. I see a pig there where you were going to" she shouted as far as her diaphragm allowed her to.

A pig? Surely I'm not stupid enough to consider a pig as a horse. I asked if she saw a horse instea... wait did she say 'see' not 'saw'? As I turned back to where I saw the horse, as expected- nothing.

"Could you get closer to where I am" I shouted back.

"What! " she exclaimed.

"Could you-!" Forget it! I decided to take a few steps back, and to my surprise the horse was back where it was. How intriguing.

"Hey." Shocked by the voice that sounded as close as a kiss, I turned around. She was still as far as she was- the voice again. god
