Turn around

Diana inhaled a deep breath. She swiftly avoided Ivy's animated bright eyes and instead looked at Daisy questioningly.

''You both...'' When her voice came out slightly raspy, Diana coughed a few times before speaking in a somewhat normal voice, ''Why did you not tell me you were going out?" she eyed the bags that had dropped on the floor at some point from Ivy's hands.

Daisy frowned at the question. After some time, she muttered, ''Grocery,'' and then she turned to look at Ivy.

Diana gazed at Ivy, taking her sister's cue that Ivy was the culprit, ''What grocery? At this hour?"

Suddenly being put under their scrutinizing gazes, Ivy felt like a specimen under the microscope.

Daisy's gaze shifted between Maxim and Ivy. She narrowed her eyes as she examined Ivy's expression.

Unable to tolerate the stifling air, Ivy blurted out, ''Sir texted me saying that you are not in a good mood.''
