The Sixth Room

George had some hiccups after hearing about some newborn milk request. When Magee already stood up to bring him to the sixth room, he was left squatting dryly, with droopy shoulders and numbing thighs.

" Why?" She asked him.

" Hmm, are you questioning for the safety of your baby? I'm frail and small. What if I don't have a milk, can we see surrogates around? And this is all responsible parenting, even the littlest preparation is needed and besides, this is wartime. We can't just call for help from the neighborhood. We shall not compromise the 'what ifs' for our baby. If something happens, we might blame the world and put us both to shame and guilt forever. So sleeping together on fire is not everything when on its end we'll lose someone we really expected. At this vantage, a soon-to-be-mother speaks, respect her. So come, hold my hand, help me deal with room number six. At least, you should be happy - since you're already my husband so you can slightly flirt, that's given and vise versa. Come, don't be sad anymore. Everything will be alright soon."She moved back and tickled his armpit that made him stood up and put his arm on her shoulder.

" Great! that's an army father my baby deserves."

" You charmed me a lot. Can't say anything at all. You have good reasons and I stuck in my miseries. Just leave my thought from drowning and just paddle our canoe, my wife. Your views on marriage made me more in love and I haven't just found the sweetest woman, an amazon buddy, a responsible mother to be, and the smartest woman of control and values." She kissed her forehead again.

" Go! let's attack room number six!" He smirked.

She smiled and followed him.

"Wow!" There's a bathroom and a comfort room, an exit door going up with a spiral staircase; a flowing water at the lavatory and four big tube-like pots installed on the corners with ivy arum or marble queen plants. These heart-shaped yellow green leafy plants are fighter plants that can even survive without sunlight as long as it has water. Still, there were small canals on sides that guides the flowing water below in two opposite holes. The sixth room looks like a receiving area.

"Mag, let's open the doors two to six, agree?" He smiled and carried her on his arms and puts her back to room number three.

" You're heavier now, what are you doing here?"

" I found chocolates, I ate them everyday." She smiled sheepishly.

" What? Where is that?" Then she ran and took its small box.

" Haha! this makes you heavier. But this is not good, just eat in moderation. You will labor hard of this. Okay, where's the journal?

"Its in my bag.

" Can I read it now while sitting at the bench of our receiving area. I liked it there too because I don't belong in room number three yet." He seriously said.

" Hmm...okay, I'll get it for you. You wait for a while." Then she walked off.

"Wow!" What a nice bedroom. Its like in the west. Thanks to my Dads. Ten years for this house construction isn't easy and filling it with supplies was a great supplication of hope. It lessen my preparation for fatherhood, so looking for a newborn milk would not be too difficult. We already have the house, a hectare of land on our name, food and supplies, baby things...only the newborn milk. Should I just find a surrogate breastfeeding woman to share to us a perfect human milk formula. If she'd be 6-7 months soon, I'll roam around and scout for surrogates. Just a plan B. Anyway, even how frail women are but they generally have the ability to produce milk. They naturally have powerful oxytocin hormone, hmm, she's maybe just scared but in the end for sure, she can. Although, to preempt could help us prepare in building a safer family life." He thought while waiting for her at the receiving area. Noticeably, the fireflies already gathered on top of the bonsai mangrove forest treetops.

" The fireflies are mating on bonsai treetops." He smilingly thought.

When she arrived bringing the journal she wowed again seeing the fireflies gathered on treetops and gave so much light.

" Amazing! they have so much light and even giving us for free." Then she smiled while handed to him the journal.

" Indeed!" He kept smiling at her watching the fireflies gathered on treetops from a distance.

Then there was a succumb noise he has heard outside, so they proceeded to room number 1 and saw the brothers Albrecht and Baldur so worried. He was about to get out but Magee held her hand.

" No. We need a little privacy. They musn't know yet of this place, even if they are a family - not yet. We have to preserve this to both of us. The granite house they see is enough, they can use it as their hiding place too. But the six rooms were built for us, our Dads didn't apprised to them about this and there must have a huge reason.

" Okay. I got it." He nodded.

" Remember, we'll tell them but not yet now. Its not for greed but for a reason." She recoiled.

" When the siblings got out, George followed in the wooden house and they hurriedly informed him that majority of the Gabok guerrillas were dead and the remaining were captured.

" How about their leader?" George asked.

" He was one of the captives." Baldur answered.

" There's a possible risk here, they might betray us and would divulge that we exist as the lost commando and teamed up with them." Albrecht doubtfully said.

" Did they know where our hiding place is?" George curiously asked.

" No. We never mentioned to them this place." Baldur affirmed.

"So we have nothing to worry. All we just need to prepare are the sudden attacks."

"Yes, I'll echo that to our men." Baldur stated while sipping a bamboo mug of coffee.

"Baldur, Albrecht - I'll grab this chance to declare my gratis to both of you."

" What is that! This is a real creepy moment, haha!" Albrecht laughed while looking at him so dead serious.

" I can't go back to our state any more, so Baldur and Albrecht, take all my belongings in my house and bring most of the treasures we found from the smiling skull cave." George tapped their shoulders.

" What are you thinking?" Baldur asked.

" I'll stay for Magee for the rest of my life, no explanations needed and there's no turning point. I'm happy with this decision.' George smiled.
