Room Number Seven

"Mag, let's try to take a look at room number seven." Then George led the way going there while they brought flashlights and his wife was following.

"Its not patterned to some of the sliding doors of rooms number 2 to 6. But the secret passage must be here - around."

" I haven't read that page, what is the use of room number 7 George?"

" Amá Sibal mentioned that its for our baby's room, especially when he/she'd be crying. He added it when they've heard that the war would possibly reach Philippines. The Dads wants to keep our baby inside that room when he/she tantrums and there's even an extension room under."

"Really? how nice. Hmm what do you think our first baby's gender would be, boy or girl?" She smirked while she was holding on his belt.

" Hey! haha! I couldn't concentrate looking for the door but just keep tagging, I've got goosebumps again, haha!"

Minutes after while the couple were busy as a bee from searching, George found it. its located a little higher where someone had to step around two stairs before the 7th room's door could be found. When they got inside and turned on their flashlights, they were amazed by the flowing water with fireflies over another bonsai balite treetops. On sides, there were three granite cribs, so carefully designed. There were granite benches and beds too for the nursing Mom or Dad. On top was a daylight optic hole. There's also a round granite table for the baby things and food, big candles hanged in 4 corners; with covered pillows and blankets. But they were amazed to see the unexpected. On a six layered cabinet they found 30 cans of Milkmaid condensed milk, 30 cans of carnation evaporated milk, 30 cans of Campbell vegetables soup baby, 20 packs of gerber baby food, 30 boxes of gerber oatmeal cereal for baby, with some more baby formulated milk. Around were different baby milk feeders/ milk containers, toys and plastic filled with biscuits. When she looked at the expiration it still have 2 years life span.

" George, our Dads." She drew closer and hugged him while he caught her arms on his broad shoulders. He was shocked as well and still looking at the cabinet filled with baby needs.

" I'm so thankful for the gift of parents, for their being selfless and oozing concern and unconditional love." He was teary eyed while caressing her hair.

" They were just very silent in planning for us and I enjoyed reading and understanding what has been written in the journal. However, I may have skipped this portion where room number seven was mentioned. Good that you've read it."

After a while, he led her hand to get out as he carefully closed the door. When they reached in room number three, he puts her on bed.

" You don't have any reason now. We have the anesthesia, baby's milk, a house, food, I already planted what you want me to plant."

" We're not yet done reading with the journal." She smiled and touched his eyelids and nose.

" What are you doing on my face?" He whispered.

" Nothing. I just wanted you to know that we need to keep an eye with the time, look! at the antic wall clock behind you." She smiled.

" What? its 1820 hrs? time ran so fast." Then he sloppily stood up and moved so slowly, like he was covered by a ton of granite.

" That's why we have to prepare for our dinner now." She smiled but he carried her on his arms outside and despite of her tantrums to put her down but needless he continued to carry her till reaching the kitchen then kissed her forehead again. Quizzically, he left to take a bath. Outright, he ran heading to the wooden house and slept there the whole night. When he woke up in the morning, he already found his uniform , towel and the things he needed within a day. At the bottom of the bed there's a note, " You take a bath now and leave your laundry below this bed, I'll take them when you'll get out. Take care for me always."

"So sweet. Now, I have all the reasons to escape away from you. You're irresistible!" He smiled.

" Oh! good morning George! I have called for a meeting as you suggested yesterday. They'll gather there in an hour." Baldur said.

" Thanks brother." George complimented.

Then he went to the flinty bathroom he missed to use, whistling and the siblings were smiling outside the table listening to his whistles. When he got out he joined them.

"We'll attack the barracks next week, and rescue the leader of Gabok guerrillas." George forcefully said.

" George, let me lead the team. Just stay with her. We wanted you to stay together, if possible. Anyway, this is a lost commando, you don't need to worry too much. Everyone can do their part to partake or not. Besides, you lay down your life for several times, just rest for a while."

" Hmm...thank you Baldur. Maybe, yes, I'm in a state of losing my military sanity and wants focus with my beautiful wife for good. I am literally about to start a family life, it excites me."

" Yeah, I could feel it. Is she pregnant?" Baldur reacted.

" No. haha!" George replied.

" Why you're laughing." Albrecht curiously asked.

He became silent while pressing his head.

"What? Oh my ... such a horrible life! you'll be in four months on July as couple." Baldur got his point.

" Hmm, yeah! so terrible! its impossible! but ahead of time it has been agreed by them Baldur." The eldest's point of view.

" That's the reason why I won't allow you to expose yourself too much on this war. Your focus might not be coherent." Baldur explained.

" Yeah its true." Albrecht said.

" At least you're doing well with her these days, isn't it."

George looked to nothingness and mumbled.

" I only kissed her once, it was just a speed of light serious kiss, nothing more, nothing less." George laughed on his misery over happiness.

" This must be serious, Baldur. This must be a classified case that we have to keep."Albrecht jokily said to his younger brother.

Baldur looked at Albrecht then they both stood up and went outside to assume the meeting for the order of attack.

"Brother, what do you think, is he going crazy?" Albrecht smilingly asked.

" I don't know but, just say nothing. We can only support them. I am even in amazement through all of these. I don't know, my head aches now." Baldur said.

" Me too." Albrecht smirked.
