Early morning stress

Getting Xander to the Lin corporation was a very laborious job. Alex eyed the sleeping man on the back seat and had the sudden impulse to strangle him to death. The day started with Alex finding herself cuddled into her brother's embrace. Then she remembered her troublesome feat from the previous night. She was dressed all ready to go to the night club when she realized she had brought in a hot cushion. With a sly smile she went back her into her room, changed into her pjs and marched to Xander's room down the hall.

However, dear old Xander wasn't too happy about this development and so a duel began. All we all can guess Alex won. But there was a teeny tiny little problem. Xander couldn't enjoy his sleep because he was scared of crushing his little bunny. From time to time he would snap awake to check if she was ok. No sooner had he started to drift into deep slumber beast Alex had woken and pulled open the windows to welcome the sunlight.

One thing Alex will always appreciate is the sunlight. When she was confined in the house in the past, she would always leave the curtains opened because the sun was her hope that one day she would shine brighter than the sun and be warm and fuzzy. Turning towards the sleeping man, she could feel a headache coming along. Xander had burrowed himself deeper into the blanket to avoid the blanket. She walked down to the refrigerator grabbed a bottle of water, tugged his blanket off and sprayed him water while singing rise and shine.

He was totally furious. His bloody eyes glared at Alex and his nose huffed and puffed like a bull. Seeing his reaction, the only sound she could hear was 'run' and so she did with Xander hot on her tails. Thirty minutes later she was caught by Xander, exhausted from all the running and had sweat dripping which made her disgusted. At least, they could cross exercise out of their schedule. As for her punishment, Xander shoved her into a bathtub filled with steamy hot water and soap. It might seem like an enjoyable punishment but Alex dislikes hot water as much as Xander hates cold water.

Alex made breakfast and waited patiently at the table for Xander get ready but after twenty minutes he was still in his room. She waited five minutes more trying to console herself as well as keep her cool.

"Some men need to take their time to scrub thoroughly"

"He is having a hard time wearing his suit"

'Did he go back to bed'

'I will kill him if she goes back to bed'

'I will freaking ship him to Africa to taste mosquitoes in his sleep' and there he was descending down the stairs with his muscles flexing at his every step.

What Xander saw was Alex's bleeding nose. Before she flipped and came at him with a rubber slippers and spatula. Immediately his primitive instinct kicked in and he fled for his life.

"What did I do? Why are you chasing me with....where did you even get that?" He screamed

"Come... come here... I won't beat you I just want to knock some senses into your head" she pleaded

"Knock some senses into my head, why?"

Seeing his confused look, she calmed down a bit 'His brain got fried from overheat when he got tanned'

"Who the f*** wears sneakers, joggers and a vest on their first day of work."

"Not to mention you work a secretary"

"My secretary!!! Did you fry your brains during your training or what?!"

Xander was stayed rooted on the spot and stared at her bewildered.

"Don't I get privileges as a Lin?" He coughed.

The impulse to hit him returned and she gestured to him with her spatula 'come here' but Xander eyed her weapon with malice and didn't move an inch.

"I'm dropping it, see? Just let's go to your room and get you a suit to wear ok?" She pacified him

"I don't have any suit most of my clothes are in the Lin ancestral home and it won't size me anymore, am big now" he said innocently but that slight tip at the corner of his lips betrayed him.

Facing his smug look Alex felt defeated. She sat regally on the dining chair like she wasn't the one who made all that ruckus, after breathing and out multiple time she wiped her phone and called Tang Yi, her secretary to get him a suit. When asked what size, she scrutinized Xander before stopping at his crotch, "I don't know but it seems very small" She sighed.
