~ Tyrell
She was quiet on the way home. I couldn't tell if she was sleeping or just thinking.
"Adaria? How are you holding up?" I finally asked. She slowly turned her head toward me.
"It doesn't make any sense Tyrell." Her voice was shaking. "He's not like the man who trained me at all. I don't understand. How is he so wonderful and nice to everyone, but destroy not only people's lives, but their whole world as well?" Tears were streaming down her face. "Why did you even decide to help me?" She broke down. I pulled off to the side of the road, got out of the car, and opened her door. She climbed out and hugged me.
"Adaria, the evidence that you have proves that my dad is two-faced, besides with my brother's involvement there's no doubt that he's done it. He wasn't acting like he normally does. He was faking it. Trust me." She wiped her eyes.
"What if... what if we didn't kill him? What if we just put him in jail?" I smiled.
"Okay." We stayed there for a few minutes before I finally asked. "So, do I get my leglet privileges back?" She laughed.
"Yeah, okay." She wiped her tears and we got back into the car. "Sorry about the thing with your mother?" She said.
"Huh?"
"The thing about.... having children... with you." I laughed.
"Well, it's bound to happen one day." She punch my shoulder. "Hey, no playing with the driver!" She laughed. We talked until we got home. Things about work, our childhoods, and thoughts that we had. Eventually we were in the parking lot waiting for the elevator. "Tommorow we have the day off." I hesitated. She looked up.
"Yeah."
"I was wondering what you'd like to do."
"Stay in bed all day." She grinned and winked at me, then climbed into the elevator. "Hurry up if you don't want to take the stairs." She said playfully. I shook my head and climbed in. What was she planning this time?
