Chapter 7

[Liam pov]

"Where are you taking me?" She asked.

"Somewhere we can be alone." I said

"We could go to a hotel?"She suggested.

"Hotel?So ordinary.Give me a chance to be more be more romantic babe." I winked,adrenaline rushed through my body,finally.It is my time.

I looked over her and I saw her face turn pink.Soon It will turn red,bright red.Thought of it gives me butterflies!

"Come let's go to the forest nearby the park over there." I said as I took her by the hand.

We playfully ran towards the park and into the forest,giggling.I hate giggling but well I have to put up with it.

sound of the leaves crunch as we run deeper into the forest,the sound of her heart raising,the sound of my stomach growling.All these were giving me jolts of excitement.

I push her against a tree and kept her locked between my arms and stare into her eyes,her eyes were becoming bold to timid.I move closer and closer till our lips are only inches apart ,I closed the gap and my lips pressed against hers gently,gently then vigourously.The growls of my stomach intensifying.

I move my lips to her neck,then her chest and plant a kiss or two as her hand pressed against my chest,and the other stoking my back big enough to cover her petite body.I moved swifty and my teeth embedded into her neck.I could feel her soul under her flesh screaming,but she didn't scream,she wouldn't scream,her body has fallen into my hands,and is under my 'magic'.

Blood gushes out of her neck, I open my mouth ready to suck the soul that comes out.

It doesn't come out..souls,so stubborn.

I took her neck in my hand,raised my hand and force my Naihi nails to appear and slash her neck..Weird how her face still appears so calm,don't know why it's like that I am just doing my thing.

I saw light leaving her body ,I quickly opened my mouth wide and sucked in the light,filling my hunger,filling my body back with energy.

Her body fell onto the floor of the forest filled with dead leaves,dead among the dead.

"Sorry babe,I had to do it." I said as I kneeled down and closed her eyes shut with my fingertips.It's the least dignity I could give her for what I did.

"I wish you were Alicia,your soul doesn't feel as good as hers,her's would probably taste sweeter too from the looks of it." I confessed to the dead girl.

Sometimes bars are better place to find a snacj.But I want Alicia.I don't like leaving what I started undone .

I need Alicia.

I leave the body of course covered it with leaves,I tried digging a hole with my nails but I guess they're not good for burrying as well as killing,how inconvenient to cover my tracks.

I looked at my watch and it's 6:45 pm.

"My monthly dinner has finished." I said to the air and laughed.

It's 11 pm and I went to the park again,but the park reminded me of my failure,it makes me angry so I left the park and ran into the forest,ran,ran and ran it feels so good running,my energy is restored,I feel like flying.Unfortunately I can't do that but running felt good enough.

THUMP, THUMP CRASH

I fell facefirst on the floor of the forest.I must have stumbled on a tree root,or it may be a snake.Doesn't matter snake or tree root,both similar except for the fact snakes have much higher degree of mobility.

I could see for myself if it's a snake or a tree root.I didn't need any sort if torch light,I have my naturally incandescent eyes and perfect vision in the dark as in the light.I got up and brushed the leaves off my shirt and turned behind and searched at the ground.

"What the hell..." I whispered into the cold air.

There I saw a half a hand embedded in the soil.I grasped the hand and pulled it up,was heaving the hand like it was worth it,like I could save the owner of the lifeless hand ,but no.

A dead body emerged out,smelled fresh blood.This death didn't happen ages ago,It happened just now.It's killer may be just around the corner.What made me curious is that,rhere is a slash on his neck just like how I left a slash on the girl's neck to reap her soul.But this body was left much worse,his chest is ripped open,even the sternum wasn't left behind,or the rib bones but the heart is still there.I opened my mouth in attempt to suck the soul that may have be left behind in the body,but nothing came out.The soul is gone.

There is another Naihi in Vanity.

"HEY WHO IS THERE!" someone called out.

I saw lights being flashed and left the body and my train of thoughts behind and ran away.
