Preparing To Visit the 2nd planet part 1

The day after my hearing I get called in to navigation and I am informed that they have discovered that the other 1 more planet and a large moon in the immediate vicinity of Eden are livable within some level of comfort because the second planet happens to suffer from very extreme weather ranging from over 100 degrees fahrenheit to -40 below but there are temperate areas in the mountains that are inhabited by an unknown race of large humanoids and I they need me to investigate if they are friendly or not especially because planet 2 which we decided to call Concordia has a lot of resources like oil and industrial metals like iron and titanium which we need to deal with the Gyarians and the rogue colonials

As my briefing finishes General Jones walks in and says " Oh good you've already been briefed on your mission and I've just been informed that the Altruin have met the natives of Concordia who call themselves the Leli and that they are fierce fighters who respect strength and courage and actually have made ships that can travel between planets and firearms on par with equipment developed during the 60s and wear thick metal armor"
