Busting out bi***

The sight of the blank ceiling faced me as I laid back on the floor.

How many fucking days, months, years have I spent in this God damned room?

I sighed.

I'm just exaggerating. It's only been five minutes, yet I'm already rethinking my purpose and regretting the mistakes I've made in this life and my past one. The peaceful and calm demeanor of the room fits that of an office.

I've racked my brain enough to try to figure out the "sacred" part of the message that was written on the window.

Religiously, holy places are sacred but I don't think that the old geezer necessarily has a place which is religious in here. Sacred could also pertain to something which is necessary and influential.

I sat up and walked to the chair and desk. Despite the empty cabinets in the office I had a feeling that there was something in this room which would lead to the safe's location. I plopped on the office chair and spun it as my mind went off spinning as well.

I sighed as I put myself in the old man's shoes. I then turned the chair to face the garden outside.

Isn't this sight technically a "sacred" thing? If so, how would that lead me to the safe?

As I leaned back in the chair I remembered a fairy tale that I used to read as a kid in my past life. The story of the secret garden entailed a girl who had to reside with a boy who had a terminal illness. The two of them used to disagree and hate each other at the beginning but later they warm up to each other. The girl finds a key and uses it to visit a secret garden which she continues to visit. A key which was unearthed from the ground.

I set my hand under the desk as I stood up only to feel something metallic. I quickly swooped down and cursed as I bumped my head. I smiled.

Under the top of the desk was a silver card taped. I tried to pull the card free but it wouldn't budge. I pouted.

Was it just some sort of fucking fixture of the desk?

Just as that question came to mind, a whirring noise filled the room. My neck twisted so fast to the right that I swear I have a whiplash now.

To my right the wall slowly moved and revealed a staircase. Instead of being the typical protagonist and questioning the room, my fucking dumbass did something else.

I fucking walked down the staircase without a care in the world. I jumped as I heard the wall close behind me. The staircase wasn't exactly dark as there were lightbulbs hanging but it wasn't sunny as well.

"FUCK!"

I screamed as the stairs suddenly turned into a slide-like mechanism. I continued to scream a string of curse words as I slid down the slide. A minute later I coughed as my throat grew hoarse from screaming. My knees were scraped as I had slid off the slide onto the concrete floor below. A wooden brown door faced me. I cursed the old man and the string of ancestors which brought him to life. If God had a calculator to count how many sins I had accrued with my cursing, it would've burst from exhaustion.

I brushed off the dust from my pants and opened the door. My eyes widened as a familiar figure faced me. I frowned as the sound of a tea cup clanking filled my ears.

"Why the fuck are you here?"

"Oh, my dear Macy, why are you so shocked?"

Ron smiled at me as he sipped his tea. The room which he was in resembled that of a Victorian style duke's. Ron was dressed in a navy suit and his blonde hat was slicked back. I blushed slightly as our eyes met. He chuckled before setting the teacup down on the elegant table below.

Ron then walked over to me and placed his hand on my cheek. He leaned in and whispered.

"Well, my dear Macy, why don't we discuss the next step of the challenge, just the two of us?"

I gulped as I felt an intense feeling of premonition sweep over me.

Fuck me and my reckless nature.

I grabbed Ron's shirt collar. His eyes widened before he composed himself once more. I leaned in really close. My breath tickling his lips as I said.

"Yes, my dear Ron. Let's discuss it, just the two of us. Our discussion process takes two to do anyways. Don't you agree?"

Ron smirked as I felt a chill run down my back. His eyes resembled those of a snake for a second. I smirked. Guess what motherfucker. If you're a snake then I'm a fucking hawk and I will break you in between my teeth.

At the end of the day, I will never let myself become the prey but the predator. I chuckled. This cute child hasn't been through life as I have yet. He's one hundred years too young to face me.

I chuckled. This was going to be interesting.
