3 Allocating Points

The next day. Christian wakes up and prepares himself some "high quality" food that he has to feed his hunger.

I'm really unlucky not only there's no electricity, I ran out of gas too. Christian thought.

Getting the grill, he prepares the cup noodles and rice, after all, what is a Filipino without his rice.

He prepares to cook the rice by collecting wood that can be found in the apartment. He breaks the door of his neighbors and cutting it using his steel knife, using the pages of his notebooks and a lighter, he uses it to light the pieces of wood and using the grill that he found in the next room he put the pot with the rice on top of it to cook and heat the water for the noodles.

After an hour of waiting, the rice and noodles are finally cooked. Christian greedily eat the food, because his stomach has been

complaining since the very beginning he woke up.

While eating. Christian checks his status screen to decide on which attribute he will place his three attribute points that he received yesterday by killing the goblin.

He has three attribute points and must decide on which stat will he place it. Will I place it on [Strength] or [Dexterity]? Christian wonders.

"If I place it on [Strength] I would be powerful but sluggish, If I choose [Dexterity] I will be fast but weak"

With this in his mind, he didn't notice that he has already finished his food.

Thinking of what happened yesterday, Christian made the decision to allocate two points on [Dexterity] and one point on [Constitution].

After all, what's the use of power if you can't even move and respond faster than your enemies, you will only end up not able to dodge and be hit and injured by your enemy.

Putting his points on [Constitution] he immediately feels his body being warm and comfortable. This phenomenon continues for a few minutes before it was gone and although he didn't feel different than before, he still knows that something has changed on him.

Excited by this he immediately put the rest of his points in [Dexterity], after putting his points, his body suddenly feels like having a hot fever and also pain strikes him, the pain feels like he just did an extensive exercise.

Feeling the pain and hotness in his body, he can't help but to fall down and convulse. Only after a few minutes did his body returned to normal again.

Panting while getting up, Christian notices that his body feels light like he can soar to the sky and fly away.

Checking himself in the mirror Christian notices that the pimples on his face have decreased, there is still some, but he's sure that the majority of them have been gone.

Christian wants to know how fast his reaction speed is, so he tries the ruler test. He checks how fast can he catch the falling ruler with his hand. Grabbing a ruler, he prepares himself.

Closing his eyes and counting to three, he prepares himself to catch the ruler.

"one"

"two"

"three!"

Opening his eyes, he discovered that he was able to catch the bottom tip of the ruler, causing him to know that his reaction speed had increased.

Excited by this discovery, Christian could not wait for his next level up and upgrade himself more.

"But the transformation really hurts"

Christian says. Checking his system he wants to know if something else has also changed.

"Besides the increase of my attributes nothing else has changed huh?"

Discovering that nothing has changed besides his attributes, Christian closes the system.

Suddenly hunger assault Christian causes him to prepare food again. While eating, he notices that no matter how much food he eats, he still feels hungry, thus causing him to prepare more food effectively finishing almost all of his supplies.

"This is bad if leveling will always be like this, there will be a time that even I leveled up, but because of not enough food I will not able to power up myself!"

"I need to find more food for myself, for my survival!"

Christian immediately prepares himself, he needs to go find more food for his future levels up. He also needs to hunt more monsters if he finds them.

Grabbing his baseball bat and his steel knife he sets out of the room.

Outside his room, Christian is thinking about how to get more food that can supply him in his level up. Obviously going door to door could would not be enough for him.

Not only those rooms have no food, even if they have food, it's only a small amount of it, not enough to supply him and it would be tiresome checking those rooms one by one.

He needs to find some store; to find it, he needs to go outside and be exposed to the dangers of monsters and he is still not strong enough to face it.

Thinking of other alternatives. Christian remembers that on the ground floor Granny Carmel has opened a small store. That store, although small has many different kinds of food enough for a couple of power-ups.

The problem is since Granny Carmel's store is found on the ground floor he needs to travel several floors to arrive there.

This apartment which is called Lawton Ave is a fifth-floor apartment. It's a pretty big and wide apartment, although a little bit expensive for his standards.

"So I still need to collect food huh? Well, I might as well collect food as I go down"

"The real problem is not going down, it's the monsters and the night. Yesterday I've slain a goblin and it's only on the fifth floor, which the floor I'm living in and the night, because of the darkness I can't travel at night there might be monsters that will ambush me"

So if I go down I need to be careful about my surroundings and the time too. Christian thought.

Thinking this, he remembers that he needs a bigger backpack because of how many foods he needs to get.

So Christian immediately returns to his room to get a bigger backpack that he can use. Discovering that he doesn't have a bigger backpack, Christian immediately searches in the empty rooms if he could find a big backpack and after a couple of minutes searching he finally finds it.

A multifunction leather bag that can be used as a backpack and a leather bag. Grabbing the bag, Christian immediately wears it and begin his journey to the ground floor towards Granny's Store.

Arriving at the stairs, he immediately notices the bloodstains that leads to the fourth floor. "Have they drag a person's body on the fourth floor?"

Clenching his baseball bat, Christian carefully walks the stairs, afraid of alerting the monsters that reside in the fourth floor.

Walking the flight of stairs he notices the blood on the walls, he even sees a severed hand causing him to be afraid. Afraid of what will happen to him if they captured him.

Christian while walking silently hears the sounds that the goblin makes again. Causing him to walk more carefully since he hears multiple sounds of it.

"There's multiple of them?!" Christian cried.

Moving closer to the sounds he notices that the goblins appear to be happy and are dancing in circles on what seems to be an altar.

Looking more closely at the altar, he sees that the altar is actually made of human limbs stack together with five heads in the top of it.

Seeing this, Christian immediately pukes, disgusted at what he saw, but he also feels anger. He's angry that these goblins are treating them as dogs, that they can do anything to them and we can't even do anything to fight back.

With this fury, he prepares himself for fighting these childlike monsters.
