Cruelty

As it was not a dangerous life form, Teo does not need to tell every life forms around them. They can explore and see by themselves.

Those vultures were eating the flesh of humans that has already been dead. As everybody used to this kind of thing, they don't panic or shock.

This is the world they lived in now, people might die because of a fierce animal or by their kind. Mostly, some people might steal and kill to get the resources; it was even worse at the beginning, when some people might kill each other to eat the flesh. They don't have anything to eat and no one even bothers to help them; thus, as their survival instance kicks in, they have no choice.

The vultures have the size of the lion at the original earth; they have black wings and dark eerie eyes. This kind of animal only fed on the corpse, as long as they don't bother them, they will not attack first.

[Ti, I sense the eternal energies around us increasing again. At this point, I'm not even sure whether it was good or bad for us.]

Anti thought indifferently and replied: "I can see it clearly now as I have awakened my ability. According to my speculation, it's not bad or good. But everything has pros and cons, so far, this helps us gain more strength. That's means, it's good for now."

At noon, they rest and eat. Along the way, they don't meet any other dangerous life form other than some dears, snakes, etc. They practiced some of their ability but they choose not to hunt along the way, cause of something unexpectedly happen. Soon after, they arrived at their destination.

When they arrived, the lively scene they expect was nowhere to be found. What's happening in front of them was the chaotic and gloomy atmosphere; everyone was running and cowering in fear, as if they were in hell.

"What's going on now?" Selsa asked in pensive voice.

Along the way, they saw a boy with his right hand covering in scales, Anti immediately asked: "Hey Hey! are you okay? what's happening to your body?"

"I don't know! it was last night when I felt the energy, this suddenly happen." Although this boy looks a little fearful, but he still has a common sense.

"What's your name boy? Can you tell us what happen here?" Nita said with a consoling tone to make him felt at ease.

"My name is Leng Kimsan, you can call me San." San was a boy with a plain look and a thin build. "Yesterday, when the earth was angry, it spit out the energy for us to use. After that, most people try to absorb it and and and.."

After a bit of speaking, he cried. Soon enough, by listening to him, they get the gist of the situation here - Mostly, after the energy outbreak, people try their own way to absorb it; the boy's father was one of them, but he wrongly doing it somehow. He turned his whole body to a skeleton and lose his common sense. But his father was not the only one, some people turn their body to a different type of animals, mud, and other types of evolution.

"It's fucked up here! isn't it?!" Aunen surprised speak out.

But at this moment, a new voice rang out, "Hey guys, you look new here, do you just arrive at this place?"

"Yes, we are. We already know some of the situation along the way here." Anti spoke.

"Sigh, it's bad here isn't it, but at least it was used to be least bad before. Oh, My name is Som, nice to meet you and welcome to Red Sand Village." Som joined both his palm together and bowed.

The other did the same way and Som told them more of the situation while leading them along the way, "As you can see, as the world it is now, we need more people to increase our strength. That's why I was asked to greet any people that arrived here by my boss. The sad thing here is, last night we were forced to kill Breaker; I mean those that turned into something else and lost their common sense, we called them Breaker."

Som was a man with the looked of thirty years old, with the dirty clothing, 1.7 meters in height and quite a thin built.

"Do you mean that there are others who evolve their whole body and still regain their sense." Visal inwardly said.

Som nodded his head in an agreement: "That's right! But some of them chose to stay behind, while the other part choosing to leave because of their appearance."

Just as they were speaking, another voice rang out: "Oh! a newcomer and there's two beautiful ladies here as well." Another man with lecherous eyes, medium built and average in height come out.

"Hello friends. My name is Tei, would you like to join our gang?; there, many brothers could help protecting many ladies like you and these three men here could come as well if you like. It's much safer there." Tei come out to greet them, but his eye never left Selsa and Nita.

"Thank you, my friend, but we just arrive so could you please let us decide what we gonna do by ourselves?" Visal replied with a smile that is not a smile.

Tei, look as if he didn't care at all, "Ya Ya Ya!! Look dangerous isn't it, but be careful, you are in our den now. And we! the most powerful group here doesn't give a shit of what you are in this world now. Now, if you think it through, we welcome all of you here with open arm." Tei said with a respectful and threatening voice. When some people along the way hear it, they looked away and mind there own business.

But suddenly, Som rebutted in: "Tei, didn't we establish our rule that 'First come, first serve', so don't just come and say whatever you want."

"Rule? Hehe! We will wait for you, friends." Tei bid his farewell.

At the moment of the conversation, Anti was also spectating the people around them with his ability.

Actually, not only was there a full-body evolution. Some people here have their arms, leg or even their hair contain a unique type of energy. They also have different type of forming body part, like earth legs or liquid arm, some of their parts look like an animal, etc.

The good thing is, most people have actually regained their normal bodies. Maybe, they don't try to gather the energies yet or they did it correctly.

Anti muttered to himself, and issued a command: "Teo, scan the two guys here."

[Beep! Task Established! Human model established! Begin simulation....] Teo robot sound rang out.

"Stop playing Teo, tell me directly." Anti rolled his eyes.

[Alright alright!! No fun at all. This two guys here have the most stats out of everyone here, they are even stronger than us here besides that rough Aunen.]

[Name: Som, Strength: 2.0, Agility: 1.7, Vitality: 1.7, Life Form: Red Energy Core, Status: Healthy]

This two people here have their stats stronger than Anti, especially Tei. According to Teo, most people here only have a normal stats of 1.3 to 1.4. Some are not very healthy because of the lack of food, sickness, worried, etc.

See the situation turn this way, Som quickly apologized and smiled: "Now don't worry about those guys, even if they are dangerous, they can't do anything to you in this place. There are also many people like that now a day."

Selsa suddenly rebutted it, "Mister, what are these people. That guy spoke like he's from a gang or something."

"Yes of course! very few people here live alone. In other to enhance our survival, some people here form a small group in other to hunt, find the wild fruits or herbs. They built their houses, made a living by exchanging the things they need from each other. And here come the three big groups, they are called Violence Tiger, Bokator Master and SeLa Temple. And I am from Bokator Master Group." Just as Som was speaking, they arrived at there destination.

It was a big house if you said in now situation. It was made out of woods and mud as the wall, the floor tiles made out of wood and some places made out of stone. The surprising thing is, the weapon the people there was carrying.

It was an iron sword and bow.

Anti and the other was surprised by it. Did they found an iron ore? They have yet asked the question when they saw something that is even more out of their imagination.

They already know that it would be this way, but thinking is different from seeing by themselves.

What they saw in front of them was like some alien and monster movies, a person that looked like an ogre, vampire, skeleton, slime, ant, etc was seen here.

"Is that those people that you told us?" Anti remained indifferent toward this.

"That's right. Either way, it's nearly night already, I need to find a place for all of you to sleep first." Som sighed when he said that.

"I see that your body is fine, mean that you gather your energies right. It's very chaotic at first, but we can control the situation somehow with the minimum loss."

"How do you guys cultivate?" Aunen curious asking.

Som said without much thinking, "It's easy, our boss said to just gather it in one point of our body, anywhere is fine, but he suggested us to gather it in our heart and so did we. Some people just absorb it everywhere throughout their body, thus, it changes to such an evolution."

After a moment of speaking and observing the situation around here, they arrive at a room. However, as there's a limited space they can only sleep together here.

"What do you guys think now?" Anti asked when all of them find their own space to settle down.

Nita blinked her eyes and said: "If it was here then it's fine. People work together to get the food and they have enough share of their food as well."

"Yeah! I saw many strong men here as well, mostly those people have trained well, I guess. The good thing is we gathered the energies right, else, who know what we become." Visal said passively. "But, whatever the case this is, tomorrow I'm going to stroll around here and asked more information."

Everyone took a calm breath and look quietly at the space. After a while, they continue.

"People here also exchange food with some other things, I think we should trade some stuffs. Especially that iron weapon." Selsa join the speaking."Do you think they found an iron org?"

"Of course! they would. What do you think it made out of?" Aunen said while sleeping.

"I think that is right. This place here has a water and iron ore, that's why they chose to build this village here." Anti said.

"And now that people can use supernatural power, we need more power as soon as we can and if we can get the iron weapon also, it would be much better. Let's do as you suggested, but you need to ask more situations about the other two big groups."

Just as they were speaking, a commotion broke out.

All they could hear was a yelling and the sound of a bell ring from far away.
