Apparitions

The next morning, I felt weird. My head felt dizzy but my body felt relaxed. I replayed the dream I had last night. But it wasn't a dream it was real...

I got out of my bed and into the bathroom. After using it, I heard a knock on the front door. I opened it and was surprised to see Emily standing there.

"Hey is your friend awake?" She whispered.

"oh, no but she is going to be soon..." I replied uncertain.

"Okay, good. Look I have to tell you something." Emily said. I could tell she was frightened.

"um, okay come inside." I said gesturing her in.

"No not here. In private."

"But I have to get ready for class we can talk over breakfast."

"Class is not important just come with me please its urgent." Emily whispered urgently.

It took me a moment to consider it but I finally gave in.

"Okay, let's go." I closed the door behind me.

we walked in silence for a few minutes until I realized we were leaving the school building.

"Hey where are we going?" I asked.

"Just follow me." Emily replied.

we walked for another couple of minutes and I see we are going to Green AV the park near us.

We find a bench and sit on it.

"So, Amelia." Emily started. " Your dad is here in North Ohio."

I look at her in shock. That couldn't be possible!

"And..... he's looking for you." She continued

I was frozen in place.

"n-n...no" I whimpered.

"I'm sorry but he's here and... we have to protect you and ourselves." Emily's weird eyes widened.

"How?" I asked thinking it was impossible.

"You'll come back tonight to us again and meet the emperor. We all have to do something." Emily explained.

All I knew was that we had to protect ourselves and make sure my father never reaches me before its too late.
