We geared up to climb the cliff.
"Emily... I'm afraid of heights." I admitted.
"Come on, Amelia, everything will be fine. Don't worry." She assured me.
I gave a weak smile to her and looked at the cliff before starting to climb.
It was hard due to the condition to my shoulder and the fact that I had a rope tightly wrapped around my waist and that I was pulling on it to continue climbing.
I was terrified.
I couldn't believe I was climbing by myself with an injured shoulder when I hate heights.
Don't look down I repeated to myself silently.
"Hey, are there anymore cliffs that we have to climb?" I asked Emily.
"Yes just one more." She replied.
I sighed.
This was the hardest challenge I've ever done.
I then had the temptation to just look down.
So my eyes wandered down...
And I gasped.
I've gotten high enough but suddenly couldn't move.
I felt myself slipping but I caught myself just in time.
"Amelia!" Emily shouted from above.
"I'm fine!" I yelled back.
But my arm started to hurt a lot and I noticed that it was bleeding.
I ripped the wound open again.
And I was even more terrified that I clinged myself to the cliff.
I shut my eyes tightly and breathed.
"Its okay..."
I opened my eyes to see Noah besides me.
"You can do this."
I nodded.
"Give me your hand." He said.
"What?"
"Just give it."
I gave him my hand and he pulled me over towards him and somehow guided me up.
"Thank you." I said.
"No problem we're almost there."
And soon enough we reached the top of the cliff.
And I gasped when I saw what was in front of me.
