'Y/N, Are you his friend, colleague or something? Who congratulates a senior boss like that? It's not too late to do better..Still his gaze. Y/N, Think of him as a potato.'

You eventually close your eyes and open it again. You feel a metallic taste in your mouth, as you bite your inner bottom lip hard so that you won't laugh. That really worked, Jin's face was replaced by a potato.

Shaking your head, You bow deeply and voice in an audible way " I am sorry for being impolite. I am Bae Y/N, your newly appointed employee. I will work hard...and..Happy birthday, Sir- No, Big Boss."

His gaze ultimately averted away from you then back to the laptop.

"Miss Bae, You can get back up." Lee Hyun reminds you in a small voice.

"Oh okay." You get back up, still lowering your head, unable to face him anymore.

"Secretary Lee, Come here," Jin said indifferently.

"Yes, Boss."

You see Lee Hyun walking beside him and they start to talk about the schedules and meetings.

'I feel so useless. I mean I have never done this type of job, If it was some kind of restaurant, I would love to cook and serve. Stop thinking about those!! You will get paid three or four times more here without doing physical labour. Think about that.'

You continue to convince yourself until you hear your name.

"Yeah?" You look up to see they both were standing up, looking at her.

"Miss Bae, Let's head to the meeting room. Here is the schedule for today, try to memorize it while we head there." Lee Hyun says as he passes you a sheet of paper.

"Yeah." You take it with sparkles in your eyes. ' My first task. And I am even going to attend an office meeting. I always wondered how it was.'

You were excited to start your day but that didn't last long.

"Stop."

"??" You look at him, confused.

"Secretary Lee, Who gave you authority to let her attend this meeting?" His voice was aloof as ever.

"O-Oh, That. I thought She would learn much better if she attended. I am sorry, I acted on impulse." Lee Hyun apologized and turned to look at me with guilty eyes.

"Stay here, You don't qualify to be there." Saying those words, he left. Since Lee Hyun had to follow beside him as soon as possible, he bowed to you as an apology and followed Jin hastily.

"Well, that was unexpected. Now that I think of it, I was getting too ahead of myself."

*Sigh*

You turn around and look at the dark, gloomy office. It was still chilly in the office, constantly giving you an eerie vibe.

' I really wanted to attend though, yet I am staying here since my boss says I don't qualify to be there. Some day he would tell me I don't qualify to work here and throw me out. What if he says I don't qualify to even breathe, would I stop breathing just to satiate him? Lol, What am I thinking?'

You laugh out loud and start walking down to sit on the couch. However, remembering something, you get up and look at the walls and corners.

"That's a relief. There are no cameras. What if there were, and he sees me laughing like an idiot. That would have been embarrassing." You sit back down and stare at the paper Lee Hyun handed to you.

"Woah, He does everything written here up till late at night every day. It doesn't feel like today is his birthday at all. Being a CEO is really hard." You admire his determination toward work.

After looking through the sheet of paper for the fifth time, you start to get bored. You glance at Jin's office table. ' Should I take a closer look?'

Instantly shaking your head to dismiss the thought, you mumble " No, Restrain your curiosity, Y/N. I don't want to get fired on my first day. What should I do then? I am bored."

"If you are that bored, why don't you come and assist me?"

Startled, you turn to look at the source of the sound, only to see an elegant lady in white attire staring back at you.

"Vice-President Cha." You hastily stand up and greet her.

"What are you doing here?"

"Boss has instructed me to stay here until the meeting ends."

Cha Yoona stares at you intently before speaking " More like he didn't permit you there."

*STAB*

'Well, That hit right at the sore spot.'

"Ma'am, Shouldn't you be there in the meeting as well?" You ask out of curiosity.

"I have other important tasks to handle. Now, stop with that and come here."

"??"You stride to her, perplexed.

"Take this file and put it on his table. And come to my office immediately after." Saying those words, Cha Yoona passes you the file and leaves the office.

You look at the file in your hand. 'Think positively. I will be bored sitting here anyway, I will just go assist her for a short time before coming back.'

Taking a deep breath, you put the file on Jin's desk but as you were about to leave, you catch sight of the photo frame which had a picture of Jin and Madam Kim.

'So cute. I wish I would have taken a picture with him before he left me.'

"Are you not going to come?" You hear Yoona's voice from the door.

'Why is she still here?' Frowning, you leave the office.

"Since you are my junior, I will just call you by your name." Vice-President Cha spoke as she took her seat.

"Okay." You just nod your head in response. "By the way, How may I assist you?"

Yoona opens her laptop as she utters without glancing at you " Bring me a black coffee first."

"Pardon?"

Gazing at you, she says again " Black. Coffee for me. And Iced Americano for everyone working in my department."

"What? Y/N, You must have time lying around but I don't. If you don't want to, Just go back to the CEO office and stay there." Seeing you frozen at the spot, she gets irritated.

"N-No, I will go get it." You turn around to leave but Yoona calls you again.

"Were you going to pay for that yourself? Take this." She throws you her black card.

You hastily catch it and bow before leaving.

Outside, you look at the twelve employees busily working around in the department.
