When James open his eyes they shine in a golden light for a second "wow that was quick, all I had to do is judge some people and the trial was over that's the fastest trial to now." I look at the golden stairs again and see that all I have left to get to the top in two steps. " I wonder what kind of trials there are on the two last steps, I hope there is not anything that takes to long time I want to go back to my world," I say as I step on the next step.

Ding commencing test of will

When I open my eyes all I see is a road. Black is all I see except that white road. After some consideration I decide to step forward. when I take a step a women appear on my left. The woman smirks and says"Hey handsome come play with me" while bending forward to entice me.

I look at the girl and think " So the test is to see my will, I guess I'm supposed to move forward no matter what I see." I move forward completely ignoring the girl. An old man with a crown in his hands is standing in the darkness "Come here young boy and you will be the king of the world, all beings will bow to you." He says with a certain tone that makes you believe him. I pass him by without thinking

Then the space starts to tremble and a not loud but powerful voice is heard "Boy" the voice says. And I fall to my knees the instant I hear it. My body is trembling "What kind of power is this I have never felt something like this" the voice is heard again. "Boy become my disciple and you will have real power" I feel my body turn cold the moment he says it. The voice continues "I can help protect you when you come to the new world" I get terrified. "How does he know about that? The voice starts to laugh " HAHAHA don't be afraid I'm only an inheritance, and you are the only person now that's worthy of getting it. At my peak I not only ruled 1 world, but 100 worlds were under my control! Can you imagine that 100 worlds, countless soldiers and generals. Ministers and civilians. Priests and cultivators, even Heavenly Cultivators needed to bow down their heads to me. Everything was mine. Until some idiotic celestials decided to take me out. If you swear on your name to destroy those and bow your head to me, then I will give you my inheritance." it says the last words with so much power that the space is starting to crack.

James is slowly standing up, while "AWWWWWWWW" he screams while his bones are breaking, his muscles are shrinking as a balloon in visible speed. He plants one foot in the ground then the other, he lifts his arms of the ground while his upper body is straitening. He finally manages to stand straight up. The voice is panicking "How is it possible to withstand my voice when you don't even have any cultivation, it should not be possible I know I'm weekend but still I'm an Overlord." James start to walk forward again with both his arms just laying down on his sides broken. " I don't care what you are, no one in this life will make me bow down. I control my life." James says slowly while walking forward.

When I open my eyes again I am on the golden stairs again. "What's next I wonder I have had the test of courage, comprehension, power, solitude, hearth and lastly will. I wonder what kind of test there is this time, it can't possibly be harder than the last one." I think lightly, and takes the step.

In an ancient-looking palace a middle-aged man with red hair and broad shoulders are hurrying towards a huge door with five beast on. he hurriedly opens the door while closing it softly behind him. when he has closed the door he comes towards the throne that is on the back wall directly opposite of the huge door. He goes forward and right before the throne he goes down on one knee, and fixes his gaze on the floor while cupping his hands and saying nervously"Your Majesty, the blood crow commander wants to meet you" he sais softly.

On the throne there sits a boy maybe around 16-17 years His Name is Long Jian. (in China they have the household name as the first letter and the first name as the second).

Other than his silky white hair, he can not be considered handsome. If his face was in a crowd he would most likely not be noticed. He wears a golden robe with a five claw dragon on it. There is a flash of lightning in Jiang's eyes. and he starts to hold his head. After five minutes he takes away the hand and says to the middle-aged man still kneeling in front of him with a worried look. " Uncle Zhong leave to bring him in. "Yes your majesty" he answers.

James eyes flash, he just got the memories of Jong Jian. "Well I guess it is m identity for now, from now my name is Long Jian. okay so the situation is like this. His father died of illness two years ago. Then his elder brother took the throne. But my brother was violent, greedy, he raised the taxes, made several new laws that made the people hate him. In the end he decided to try to take away a large part of the military's power to himself. And the next day he was publically executed by an agreement of the prime minister and the Marshal of the Empire. I am the last surviving member of the royal family.

So I am the last member of the royal family but I don't have any power to my name. No that's wrong I have the Qilin guards who are the imperial guards. My thoughts were stopped there when I see an elderly man in blood redd armor walk inside the throne room and bows down to me. "Greeting's your imperial highness" he says with a small smile. I reply with the same smile "Greetings to you too Commander Cho, I wonder why Commander Cho has taken the time to come to the palace today?"

Commander Cho chuckled weakly "I come to your majesty because I am afraid of this Dynasty's future if we do nothing." My eyes turn serious "I know what you mean, the prime minister is taking more and more power. Even my brother was most likely controlled by him, especially the plot to take power away from the military." Commander Cho's whole body trembled for a split second, then he gained a new light in his eyes and said, " your majesty you surprise me, you have hidden so deep that no one knows that you are intelligent, why did you not fight with your brother for the crown two years earlier?"

(so he thinks I was hiding my intelligence for my entire life great, it's much better than saying I just got here and got his memories. I can build my backbone from the hidden genius prince stance. haha I'm really intelligent) James thinks in a second and answers the question "I did not want to involve myself with this. It's only because the Empire stands to crumble if I did not reveal myself." I say like its nothing. The question in commander Cho's eyes instantly disappears and is replaced with admiration. "Then what is our next move your majesty he asks humbly" I have a small smile on my face as I say "Unite the Sacred Orders"
