Mourning

Noell nodded in understanding and drank her coffee with mixed feelings. After Collin failed to save him, now her teammate will be the next target.

She massaged her forehead, very frustrated. She should have looked for Collin at that time and fled together. It was ridiculous to leave Collin like she was throwing him so she could escape the trap. Really arrogant himself.

"You go home, Noell. You need rest and calm your mind, ''

Jedd also ordered member the team to go home and he returned sink down to its documents. It was a hard night.

In the morning on schedule. The military held a closed burial ceremony in the field of the middle officers' headquarters. The atmosphere was solemn during the ceremony. All lined up neatly wearing military uniforms complete with ranks and stars.

Beret hat with other complementary attributes that accompany the neatness of each personnel. The rifle was still locked and bowed and then they head in condolences.

Noell stood not far from the chief of the platoon. She stood 2 lines in the back and watched her colleague lying in a coffin covered with the flag of her country. What an irony for Noell. Like what they trained in war, when death comes up, all is lost without a trace.

For her, Collin was someone she really relied on. Sometimes acting stupid and sometimes also occasionally entertaining she even though in fact she doesn't need his small talk. But she appreciated that.

Like a broken DVD, the memory continues to spin without pause until when the coffin has been completely buried and Collin has left them all. Including his family who cried hysterically when the coffin was embedded in the ground.

"Noell, now is the time for you to give information to his family personally. His family is waiting for you,"

Noell looked at Jarred with a deadpan look. The feeling of loss clearly enveloped all her teammates. But instead, she meeting alone and facing of penance from Collin's family, Jarred there accompanied her as the boss of the team. Noell walked to her study. Collin's family wants to take him belongings and see how he works in serving the country.

As soon as Noell turned the doorknob, everyone stared at her in silence. They were there, Collin's mother crying hugging his shirt that kept in his locker. The room is quite crowded, one by one her teammates came out of the room. She fell silent and entered her office followed by Jarred.

"I'm also sorry for Collin's departure. I hope Collin's family can forgive me with all my carelessness yesterday, ''

"What were you doing at the time?"

A middle-aged man sitting watching her who is none other than Collin's father. She averted her gaze and stared at his father's focus, which she then told at length. His mother was hysterical to hear that.

"My son is always careless. But I didn't expect him to be so careless,"

"Miss Noell ... I know this is a hard task and you are forced to carry this burden yourself. We all know. This's not like drama parents who will curse you and rebuke you for not being able to protect your teammates ... especially Collin ..."

Collin's mother could not resist mentioning the name of her son and tried her best to hold her tears there so as not to fall.

"I and my family have accepted that this is a risk that must be borne. Death of Collin is at least able to provide so much information about this person. I will continue to curse this bastard villain and support you to arrest him, ''

Noell nodded strongly. She held Collin's mother's hand tightly around his shoulders. Such a grip and a firm belief. Collin's family said goodbye and left the office escorted by Jarred. She leaned her back on the sofa and sighed strongly. Then Jedd and the others entered the room.

"I thought there would be a fight like a soap opera. I was worried about my mother. She really liked the drama of her favorite subscription,"

Kenny took a glass and made coffee on the little table.

"You'd better just pull out your subscription television service. I'm more worried because my mother is a law graduate,"

"Oh come on, don't tell me such a bad thing this morning. I was shocked enough that we will all be the next target. I don't want to imagine anything bad besides I still want to stay alive and breathe,"

Jedd took several documents and put them on the table. Noell seemed unenthusiastic at the moment. She leaned her head on the sofa making her look really tired.

"Noell, your coffee, ''

Kenny put a cup of coffee before Noell. Seeing her who was not as excited as this was another scene in the room. The gloomy aura that it emitted was contagious to others. No more gloomy than Jedd who was like a zombie workaholic with black eye bags under his eyes.

"I'm just thinking ... Nathan might be an incarnate ghost Slender man or another fictional story. Or Nathan is just a hypnotist man ..."

She could only spit out the thoughts she had been thinking about. Jedd gawked at the strange Noell in this morning. This strange girl is a good dreamer. Maybe her head hit something yesterday during the run.

"Gosh, please call an ambulance. Noell has a concussion!"

"Godamn it. I'm seriously saying this, ''

Noell looked cynically at Kenny before sipping her coffee. Yesterday it was like Noell running precariously right in front of Nathan's eyes. Really like an idiot. Maybe her latest agenda is not to be stupid by ignoring her instincts again.

"Nathan has a tall body. About 190cm. His skin is pale white like a native of Sweden. His face is normal as usual. I see it without blemishes on his face. Too perfect,"

All member's imagined all those characteristics.

"Could he be a vampire? Isn't vampire's skin white?"
