Outpatient

Nathan immediately refrained from panicking. He immediately pressed the remote to her bed so Noell was a little more stretched out and lying down. Because after all, she could not immediately sleep in a supine state fully remembering the bleeding in her head. She felt slightly uncomfortable as she tried to relax her head a little on the pillow.

Nathan rubbed her head gently. Looking at her right in the eyes that are still closed tightly. Trying to resist pain. He did not know what to do. Especially when she did not show a calm reaction because her head was still throbbing in pain.

"Get some rest, Noell," Nathan said so gently.

He kissed her forehead which then their eyes met accidentally. Noell there, although cold sweat seemed to sparkle on her eye temple, did not dampen the beautiful emerald eyes staring at him. He pulled himself up. Do not want to see her tortured because of his presence which makes the burden of his mind increase. At the very least, he was aware of her current condition and had ensured that she received proper care and treatment here.

"What are you hiding in your eyes, Nathan ... I know you are doing all this because of your different views towards me.  And you also know, that there will be no romantic relationship between us," Nathan paused. He did not turn around and just stayed there.

Correct. He was aware of that. He also realized that he and she were so different. Very different fact. Like two magnetic poles that repel each other. Not attract each other.

"You too have clearly seen the gap that separates you and me. Why did you force yourself to be like this ... "

She only stared at the back with a glare. She did not like this man, because it was enough with a bad background.  His presence will only keep her in danger. Did not Nathan see himself almost on the verge of death indirectly because of the influence of him?

He turned. And their eyes met each other again. When none of them let their eyes go. He walked closer to Noell. His expression was so sad and sat on the edge of her bed. His hand felt that cheek. The cheek has a small transverse wound that is caused by friction. She looked at him so intensely that even for the first time he was silent for so long without averting their eyes.

"As far as whatever gulf separates us, I will build a bridge to reach you. Be calm in your place, let me try, "

He gave a small smile as the green round eyes seemed to say. Do as you wish if you can. They remained to stare at each other until when he brought his face closer, he was swayed. Even when their lips touched each other, Noell did not reject it. More precisely, it will not respond.

"It doesn't matter how many million times you reject me, Noell. You remain above my throne. No matter how proud you are, I'm still going to be like this. "

Nathan smiled softly. She first took their eyes off. Her cheeks flushed, blushed funny and turned her gaze to her left side.

"You idiot," Noell murmured and made him chuckle before pulling the chin and tasting the taste of her. A little surprised because she didn't reject it. Did not beat him up. But just keep silent as a stone with eyes closed funny.

'Is this new to him?'

Nathan seemed to be flying when Noell gave him the green light. Just let the two lips touch and kiss each other. Hoping when time and opportunity sided with him to pause.

A month later.

When Noell is in her prime condition to open the plaster on her stomach. It's safe for her to eat and drink in addition to hospital food. In fact, she was allowed to go home for outpatient care because she insisted that she didn't want to linger in the hospital. She will continue to take leave for four months according to General's orders, only she wants to make use of leave that really feels like leaving.

Noell tidied her hair a little when the nurse left a few minutes ago. She was declared to be outpatient after several conditions from a doctor. She remains routinely consulted once a week to control wounds especially on her head. Considering that she was a rare human with a high IQ, his head received serious attention. Then run a nerve therapy to help the recovery process quickly.

"Still determined as always," Jedd stood in the doorway staring at her bored. Noell smiled arrogantly and threw her bag at Jedd.

"My schedule is very crowded today. How about my new home? Is it clean?"

"Well, at least I don't need to drive from one city to another.  This is much easier, '' Jedd pushed her wheelchair away from her patient's room. She leaned roughly in her wheelchair.

"For at least another month I'll be back training as usual until the end of the day of leave," Jedd put the rough large bag on her thigh.

Brugh!

"Jeez! I just took my pen off, damn it! Are you glad I'm paralyzed?" Noell snapped. Unfortunately she could not turn around making Jedd smile satisfied.

"At least you'll practice two months from now if I torture you a little," She rolled her eyes bored.

Jedd brought Noell to live a special military family housing complex. There even lived some military families that Noell knew. Like Jarred's wife and children, her boss. And several other boarding friends who are currently receiving the state budget of their residence because of their dedication to achieving the title of officer. Well, this can be said to be an elite housing complex for officers.
