High Ranked Badge

Arden was surprised when seeing the man sitting face to face with the headmaster was the Daulitos he knew about. He set up the surprised look at his face and didn't do anything.

The headmaster looked at four of them before yelling at them, "WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE? HOW DID YOU GET PASS THE GUARDS?"

Arden was sweating nervously at this point, not knowing what to explain to the headmaster. He just stood there while scratching his head while the other looked at him with the face of why the f*ck we followed him here.

Suddenly, all the people in the room could hear the sound of creatures stomping on the floor. They turned their attention and there he is, the person Arden has been looking for, Daulitos.

Daulitos noticed the familiar face of the stranger he met on the road and quickly approach him. "Finally, you are here! I have been waiting for you for 7 days now! Sit here sit here"

He guided them to the same look as the comfortable couch the headmaster was sitting on. While Arden and his friend were walking there, Daulitos proceed to walk to his own seat.

It was like a throne for a king, glorious, luxurious, comfortable to watch. All of the thought came rushing down to his mind while he sat at his place and examine the good-looking chair.

Fortunately, he quickly regained his mind back and said bluntly, "Who is that beside you?" he pointed to the person sitting beside Daulitos and wait for his answer.

Daulitos looked at her before chuckling, "She is my assistant, a silent one though, haha"

After saying something about his assistant, Daulitos continued his words and asked to Arden, "So, why did you come here? Do you need any help or something?"

The headmaster interrupted by saying something even before Arden could talk, "Sir, why do you respect this person so much? Is he like a king or something?"

Daulitos looked at him before bursting out laughing, "Of course he is not the king! I consider him as my friend though, don't disrespect him if you can"

The headmaster looked at him and then to Arden before lowering his head, accepting his defeat. "Oh, yea! We haven't introduced our self properly! I'll start first, I'm Daulitos, the founder of the blacksmith society in this kingdom"

Arden was a little bit shocked hearing about Daulitos's background, but he began introducing himself after Daulitos did his, "I'm Arden, Baron of Aselwey, I'm just a normal noble in this kingdom"

Daulitos looked at him and slowly raise his hand to his chin, he muttered something several times before his voice suddenly raises up, "Aselwey.. Aselwey… OOOH! That piece of land! The main building is in the mountains near it! I can show you when we both go to that place"

Arden giggled before answering, "Haha, I think we couldn't do that, I'm going to be here for like, another whole month, you will be gone from this place in 1 week or something"

He was taken aback when Daulitos responded with, "That's perfect! I need to go to another branch as well! I'll be in the capital in 1 month! I'll see you at this place after 1 month!"

Arden smiled lightly, "Yea, I can do that! I have some troubles getting inside this place though. The female receptionist kicked me in when I tried to enter the building"

Daulitos looked at him before his veins started showing up on his head and arm. He slammed the table with his relatively large fist and turn beside him and whisper to his assistant.

A few minutes of both of them whispering while Arden, his friends and the headmaster was nervous looking at them. The assistant pulled out a purple-coloured badge and gave it to Arden.

Daulitos smiled at Arden before explaining what it was, "That is the second highest-ranking badge of the society, just a rank below mine. However, that's not a blacksmith badge, just a badge for VVIP like my friends and important people"

Arden and his friends were shocked after hearing this, even the headmaster's jaw dropped to the floor so low that he could taste the floor. "Thank you! I didn't bring any gift for you though, I'll surprise you when you come back to this city in one month"

Daulitos just laughed before saying with a serious face, "Hahahaha, I'll be waiting for that moment to come. However, I have an important meeting with the headmaster, if possible, I don't want to be disturbed"

Arden got the signal from him and stand up from the couch before making his way toward the door he came from. His friends followed nearby him and the 4 of them went out from the door.

They then go down the flight of stairs leading to the secret room and found their selves in the headmaster's office. There, stand the earlier guard that guide them to the room.

The first thing Arden did at the headmaster's office was to look at the purple badge given to him by Daulitos and it was soon noticed by the guard himself.

"Oh My Holy God!"

It was a short shout to Arden before the guard knelt in front of himself. While kneeling and his face were looking at the floor, the guard said, "Sir, may I help you with tying the badge to your clothes?"

Arden looked at him confused before responding with, "My pleasure, please help me if you can"

He didn't get any "you're welcome," instead he got a sentence from the guard, "No no, this is my pleasure, there are only 3 people having this badge including you, the other 2 is like the Co-founder"

After saying this, the guard began helping Arden to tie the badge to his waist with a normal rope. They were done in a couple of seconds, "Sir, there are not many who knew about this badge, I suggest you to bring this badge with you"

The guard handed him a brown badge and explain to Arden about it, "This is the highest-ranking badge in the handbook of blacksmith society, it's like 10 ranks lower than the purple one though. Hide the purple one on your pocket"

Arden smiled at him before saying, "thank you for your explanation, I want to go now though"

The guard stood there in silence while sweating for a few seconds before saying, "I will be your personal guard, I'm sure the mighty Daulitos would approve me doing that, where do you want to go?"

Arden looked at the place he wanted to go before a thought suddenly came up from his mind, 'Why don't I become a blacksmith! I can learn much more thing about making armour and stuff!'

He doubted his talent and schedule to do it, but at that time, nothing matters to him, 'Yea, I'll become a blacksmith myself!'

He then told the guard about it, "I want to become a blacksmith, show me where is the place I can become one"

The guard answered right away, "I'll bring you to that place"

Arden smiled happily after hearing this and turned his attention to the 3 people that accompany him to do his things, "All of you can go now, I don't want to trouble you all"

The 3 of them looked at each other before saying with a smile, "Good luck on becoming a blacksmith and thanks for today!"

Arden smiled back at them before following his personal guard outside of the headmaster's office and heading to the first floor. Once they were on the first floor, the receptionist can be seen talking to the Karen group and her follower.

He and his guard approached the receptionist and before Arden could even talk, the guard opened his mouth faster. "This lord wants to take the test of becoming a blacksmith"

The receptionist and Karen looked at the lord before noticing its Arden. In a matter of seconds, they all laughed. The receptionist even went as far as to say, "Guards! Take this beggar and his accomplices out of this building"

The guards shortly came to him, and once again surrounded him. But he was not afraid because he has the personal guard, his personal guard shouted, "Did you all not look on his badge before kicking him out?!"

All of them looked at the badge Arden was wearing at his waist, it was the brown badge. Yet, everyone laughed at Arden, and once again, the receptionist said, "There is nothing called badge in this society, go away!"

That's when his personal guard for the day have enough of her and grabbed the handbook from his pocket. He threw it to the receptionist and told her, "page 139, the starting of all the list of badges created! Did you even read the handbook before you get accepted here?"

That's when her face went from the red from laughing to a white pale one. She slowly opened the book and read through every badge loudly so everyone could hear about it.
