Prisoned... At Your Own Land

Arden has come back to his home and decided to get some good food and drink to refresh himself and his guards at one of the local pub in the city that is famous for their food but not for their drink, called the Food Lovers.

Such a weird name for the pub but a successful and famous one where people came to eat for their daily needs while staying impermanent at the city. They chose a table in the middle and ordered at the waitress.

A big muscular man suddenly appears from out of nowhere and 'Accidentally' bump into them. He looked at them with his eyes full of hatred like he was going to kill a man just for that bump.

Well, all is going south but his mood suddenly changes and he shouted while trying to be as dominant and assertive as possible, "Hey you dirty peasant! Look what you did to the clothes I'm wearing!"

At first, Arden, Mark and Aric thought it was accidental and didn't give attention to the bump. But now, the big muscular man had their attention and all 3 of them stared at him dead in the eyes.

The Mark suddenly stand up and shouted at his face, "You bumped onto my back first! You are the one that should pay! I'll remind you for the first time that I'm not a patient man!"

Despite being shorter than the man he is shouting at and chubbier than him, Mark didn't flinch at all. All the man could do were stared at him back in the eyes before turning back and exiting the pub.

2 minutes after the incident, the food came to them and soon, the 3 of them began eating their hard-earned food. There were people coming in and out from the pub but they didn't care about the sound at all.

They just wanted to eat their food in peace, and this is what they have hoped so. That's when Arden and his guard head were suddenly pushed from the back and to the food they were about to eat.

As their faces were in the hot and now-ruined food, the hand that pushed them is gone and they immediately raised their heads up. Arden cleaned his face with his hand and his guards did the same.

They stood up from their seat and turn around, smiled at the people that did it to them for a few seconds and…

Bam!

Arden punched the person that did it to him, and soon his guards followed. The fight broke out at the pub and the other visitors suddenly cheered on who's going to win, some even joined.

Imagine 3 people that is the most elite of the elites fighting people from out of nowhere. Well, you don't need to imagine anymore since this is what they really did in the pub.

It's not surprising news that the 3 of them defeated the people that provoked them first. There were many witnesses seeing this and knowing who started it but they all became nervous after the fight is finished.

The kitchen crew suddenly entered the room, and they began examining the mess the 3 people now sitting at their tables have made. It's not such a surprise that the waitress and the cooks become nervous as the one witness did.

Suddenly, there is a loud burst from the door, Arden attentions were taken away to the door and there he saw the city guards. The people there instantly rushes to them and said what made Arden's brain fell to his stomach.

"Sir! Those guys mess with the people on the floor!" They pointed at Arden and his 2 guards.

Arden tried to resolve this peacefully and diplomatically by approaching the city guards and opening his mouth to explain what happened. Even when he didn't open his mouth and let out a single word, a piece of rope suddenly got tied to his arm by the city guards.

Soon, he found himself and his 2 guards being put behind cells. They stared into each other with confusion and didn't do anything to escape from the situation.

'Being arrested in my own lands, at the city I owned and built since it was a small village… No! This can't happen!' Arden lost his mind thinking about it and ran for the bar.

He shouted loud enough for the prison guards to hear him, they didn't care at all and keep on doing nothing. Arden simply didn't care and keep on shouting and shouting from day to night and today again and soon, his guards joined.

The city guard lost it after their sleep got disturbed and decided to send one guard to deal with Arden.

One of them volunteered and approached Arden with rage on his face. They shouted at Arden, "Hey! What do you want! Can't you see we are sleeping? Jeez, you are the worst prisoner ever"

Arden looked at him in the eyes and said to him, his voice is as assertive as the guard he is talking to, "If you know who I am! You will keep your mouth shut and never dare to talk again!"

The city guard stared at him for a few seconds and laughed at him, he suddenly rushes off to his comrades and told them, "Hey, that guy said we will keep our mouth shut if we know who he was! Also, you guys can go to lunch! We will be having fun with them"

He shortly comes back with 2 of his friend and said to them, "Hey, do you know that there is a gang in this city!? They are so big that we are under him, this is why peasants that mess with them will always have a bad end!"

They laughed again and again in front of Arden and his personal guards. While there is a thought at Aric minds, 'I don't want to do this but they dared to disrespect the noble like that… Maybe I should hold myself patient… No! The king would approve this action!'

"Hey! You 3, come here and I will show you the badge that will really make your mouth shut!" Aric shouted at them and they weirdly complied to see what surprises he have.

He began pulling out the golden badge with a dragon head carved in them and showed them to them. They looked at it and squinted their eyes multiple times.

After they looked at it, the room went silent and no one dares to talk. One of the prison guards suddenly giggled, and it turned into a big laugh between his comrades.

Arden and Mark looked at the badge on Aric hands and thought about it at the same time, 'What kind of badge is that? Is that the king royal guards badge?'

When they were looking at it, the prison guard suddenly snatched the badge, throw it into the floor and began stomping on it. Aric looked at them doing that before he lowered his head and did nothing.

'That's the royal badge that has existed since the starting of this kingdom… look at them stomping on those, maybe it's wrong to show them to the people that didn't know about it,' Aric thinks about it.

No!

This can't be true, that is my honour!

Suddenly, Aric got into rampage mode, his muscle expanded until the clothes he is wearing ripped off. All that restrict his muscle from growing is the small layer of mail armour he is using but it looks like it was about to break apart.

His eyes became red and as soon as his eyes turned, the small layer of mail armour broke apart. He suddenly charged the bar of the cell and it broke like a sheet of paper.

He punched them right at their face and their jaw dislocated and their bodies went onto the walls. Aric looked at them for a few moments and suddenly he became his normal size.

He picked up the badge and looked at Arden and Mark and said to them, "Let's go, sir, let's make haste for the castle! We can't stay longer here!"

Arden and Mark looked at each other for a few seconds and nodded at each other before passing through the hole made at the bars. That's when Arden notices something, Aric has no clothes on his body.

"Hey Aric, get something to cover yourself up, you only have that underwear you are wearing. This is an order!" Aric looked nervous after Arden said that but complied and grab one of the coats near at the table the guards have used.

After that, the 3 of them make haste for the castle knowing the guards would come if they tally any longer. They ran through the hallway of the prison seeing many prisoner begging for Arden and his guards to free them.

Sadly, the 3 of them were not in a better circumstances and were forced to ignore them. As they rush to a door in front of them, it suddenly opens itself.

The guard came inside the building while rubbing their tummy and looked at them.
