Arc. 1.3

Lin Yu silently stared at the Man sleeping not far away from him. As to take precautions, Lin Yu didn't dare to stay near the said Man. After he had killed the guards, Lin Yu quickly cleaned the man's wound. Dew to the lost of equipment, Lin Yu have no choice but to rip the sleeve of his robe to use as bandage, in which later on work.

'This guy has the looks ah.'

Looking at the now clean face of the man, Lin Yu can't help but frown. However, Lin Yu only felt a slight distaste dew to his own body, which is very slim and delicate.

Lin Yu stared at the Man, examining every inch of that sleeping face. The man's face was very pale dew to bloodloss, and his eyebrow was wrinkled, seemingly in pain. The man has this midnight raven hair that fits perfectly to his face, wide narrowed shoulder and a very handsome appearance.

While deep in his thoughts, Lin Yu heard the system inform him about something.

[Boss Lin, The man's waking.]

Lin Yu suddenly fixed his gaze to the man's face, to the man's eyes. Surely, Lin Yu's blue phoenix eyes met those Dark brown orbs.

"..."

Silence filled the air as Lin Yu continue to stare, not saying anything. The Man quickly sat up and look around, seemingly on high alert. Just then, the man fixed his gaze on Lin Yu's figure. When the two gazes met, The man's gaze became stunned as he stared at Lin Yu for quite a while before suddenly Changing into a cold man.

"You...who are you?"

The man's voice was very cold as he asks the question.

Lin Yu didn't answer and just stood up before releasing a sigh.

"You don't need to know me. Anyway, how do you feel?"

The man suddenly glared at Lin Yu, sizing up the uncaring boy who only stared at him with boredom.

Lin Yu became impatient and once again ask. This time, the tried to move around, which make him groan in pain. 

Seeing this, Lin Yu didn't need that man's answer to know that he was still in pain.

"Say, how should I address you?" Lin Yu ask. 

Before, he really wanted to leave this man alone and just continue on his seemingly no direction journey. However, seeing the man groaning in pain, he felt that he should take responsibility. Of course, it wasn't without gaining anything. Firstly, Lin Yu wanted to inquire about this world and the Lin Empire's affairs since the System only provide him information about the previous Lin Yu and everything that has to do with the previous owner.

The man glances at Lin Yu before letting out a snort.

"Shouldn't you introduce yourself first?" The man said before he fixes his eyes on Lin Yu's clothes, before looking down at the wounds on his body in which wrap up with white cloth.

Lin Yu laugh, finding the man's sentence to be reasonable. 

"Fine. My name's Lin Yu, you are?"

When the man heard the word 'Lin', his body quickly tense up before his gaze turned chilly. He glared at Lin Yu, who seems to be unaffected by his gaze.

"Now, Now. That's not how you repay your saviour, right? Now quit glaring, it annoys me." Lin Yu said before walking five steps closer to the man, who's guard was up against him.

The man didn't let his guard down and instead, became more alert when he saw Lin Yu's figure approach. The man suddenly felt something. The beating on his chest suddenly became chaotic as he felt something on his stomach.

The Man became stunned when he felt this, and he continued to stare at Lin Yu who was steps away from him. After some time of silence, he spoke in a low voice.

"I am called Xiao Tianjin." 

Lin Yu quietly observed the man who introduced himself as Xiao Tianjin. In fact, the said name seems familiar with him.

"Well then, I'll accompany you until you can run around with ease." Lin Yu said.

Xiao Tianjin furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at Lin Yu, who seems to be looking at him with pure boredom.

Why would he stay with him if he could leave him behind? More importantly, the real question here is, why did Lin Yu saved him? 

These were the question in Xiao Tianjin's mind. His didn't felt at ease when he saw Lin Yu's uncaring look, instead, he became more vigilant since these were the type of people who was hard to deal with. The most innocent, one look, the most dangerous they are dew to the probability of one having a black heart[1]

Seeing that Xiao Tianjin didn't answer and instead, continue to coldly look at him, Lin Yu felt like he was being accused of something. After all, he saves Xiao Tianjin's life and even though he wanted some repayment, he forcefully suppresses it inside and instead, didn't ask for anything. 

"Well? I should've informed you right away. It seems like the Lin Empire is really after your life." 

Lin Yu quickly pointed at a corner. When Xiao Tianjin look at the pointed place, he saw countless of dead corpses laying on the ground. Just by looking at the corpses, Xiao Tianjin could tell that those people really end up in a bad situation. Their corpse warent intact.

"Tell me. Just what did you do that made that seemingly innocent Emperor mad?" 

With a lazy smile, Lin Yu ask as he stared at Xiao Tianjin with slight interest.

'En, Endless. How come this guy's name seems familiar?'

[Boss Lin, unfortunately, I have no information about him. The information I have was only about the body you own and not about others.]

' Aren't you supposed to have every information?! '

[Not really. I'm only here as your cheat to escape deaths door, not to give information about those that doesn't concern you.]

'En, Make sense.'

Xiao Tianjin gaze at Lin Yu, who was staring at him, seemingly in deep thoughts.

Xiao Tianjin's gaze suddenly fell into Lin Yu's pair of pink lips that seems like that of a blossom petal, so pink. Suddenly, Xiao Tianjin's mind wondered about the feeling of kissing those pair of lips to know weather that lips was really soft like how it looks or if the those lips were as sweet as how it seems.

Lin Yu snap out of his thoughts when he felt a burning gaze directed on him. Looking at the man opposite to him, Lin Yu suddenly shudder as he felt a slight fear towards the said Man. Lin Yu seems to feel those Burning gaze, but he was also unaware of what kind of burning gaze it was and what start it. Definitely, Lin Yu know nothing about affection since he grew up in the world of survival.

"You...why are you staring? Aren't you going to answer my question?" Lin Yu hesitantly ask before taking a step backwards, distancing himself to Xiao Tianjin who seems to also snap out of his thought.

*Cough*Cough*

With a dry cough, Xiao Tianjin composed himself and blink twice. His mind was still in turmoil when his face changes into a calm one as he put away the cold glare.

"Why I was chased doesn't seem to concern you. It would be better if you do not know." Xiao Tianjin said.

Lin Yu became silent for a while before letting out a sigh.

"Make sense."

He seems to agree with what Xiao Tianjin have said and so, he casually sat on the place he was sitting before, which is five steps away from Xiao Tianjin.

Once sited, Lin Yu look up at the sky as he pondered silently by himself. He didn't try to talk to the System since there's nothing to ask and he would like to have a piece of silence to think about what was happening to his life.

Unknown to him, Xiao Tianjin was watching each of his move like a predator. With difficulty, Xiao Tianjin tried to hide his sudden impulse to cage and ravage this man who suddenly makes him feel a sudden burst of feeling. 

Just like that, Xiao Tianjin settled on the idea that he must learn what this feeling is and what cause this sudden disturbance. Although Xiao Tianjin wanted it to stop, he can't deny the fact that he liked this feeling.
