Chapter 4 : Agreement

We walked quickly. I no longer wearing a white fitted suit & all of the required identification checking was secured by him. Liked when opening the doors. He just quickly grabbed me to allowed be to be entered too.

Earth pressed the 200 floors of elevator & I was shocked.

"It will only took 5 minutes." He said to me.

As minutes goes by, I stared to Earth. He was as similar as the Earth that travelled back in my time but this time, I'm the one that needs his help & has no money.

"Loreal, do not look into my face. It was a public law." He said to me as he notices me while not looking into my face.

"Ah, sorry. We don't know things like that." I shyly said as I remember that he might pertain about public affection.

"Do not worry about that. I've read lots of books in your time. Especially the romantic fiction. They were all more on romantic staring." Earth said seriously that makes me a little shame on what he is saying.

I mirrored my appearance. I looked so unattractive with my male white suit. I think he do not what to see me pretty & sexy like my appearance when I walked cutely as I see him on the other side of road.

When we came to 200 floor. Earth quickly grabs me like his owned heavy bag. Lucky for him, I only weight 49 kg.

"Here is my owned condominium. I lived with my robotic maid named Bobow & I had two robotic cat named Karen & Shine." Earth explained.

"I had two cat pet too. Their name are Joseph & Rollie." I said to him.

"I want real cats but they were expensive to take care & expensive to buy." He said to me.

"Intruder!Intruder!" Bobow said.

"Stop, Bobow. She's my friend & a visitor." Earth said angrily.

"She's a female." Bobow said.

"Ah, bobow doesn't look like a cyborg. She totally looks like a robot." I said.

"Okay, sit to my circular dining area." He said to me.

"Ah, your place is too different." I said as I look around.

There are lots of transparent glasses that changes appearances & the table can be used as search engine.

Earth brought a strange food in our table. It was in color blue. Vegetable in violet color sprinkled by blue liked flavorings & a carrot liked smashed around it. A squid like in blue color was on the other side.

"What's this?" I asked as I think that it looks intangible.

"This is my favorite food. Tangerine Bay." He said to me.

"Eat it. It taste like bibimbob in your time though appearance is not same." He explained to me.

"You know that food?" I asked.

"Oh , yes, I am reading books from 20s that covers your type of food." He responded with a smile.

I started to eat the tangerine bay. He was right, it tastes good. The blue powder seems like sparkling to my mouth. It doesn't taste like bibimbob but it tastes good.

"Do you like it?" He asked while looking to me.

"Yes." I said.

"What is your favorite food?" He asked.

"I love takoyaki." I said to him while eating.

" I see. I want to taste that." By the way, you smell different." He said to me as if he is liking it.

"It was my lavender scent." I said to him.

"I like it. I'll buy a scent like that." He said to me.

"I like it too." I smiled to him after hearing that he likes my smell.

"I want to study things about you. I am a technological researcher & a time historian. Teach me things about your time & I'll teach you mine." He said to me.

"My goal is same to that. I need to study your time." I replied to him.

He shakes my hand as an approval that we agree to each other.

After eating, I looked to the window of his room.

I can see lots of different type of building & floating houses.

Earth approaches me.

"Are you amazed?" He asked to me.

"Earth, Earth is different in your time." I said.

"Earth, where is your parents?" I asked.

"I do not have. I am a genetic engineered child." He said happily to me.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"Our society finds it hard to gain population due to business of people & women finds it hard to give birth." He explained.

'Where's your genetic parents?" I asked.

"I do not know them." He said to me.

So probably, the reason why people out there seems emotionless. It could mean that love is not present at all.

"Ah, but why you said before that you had a grandpa?" I questioned but he didn't replied to me.

I followed Earth into his room & clicked lots of buttons that surprises me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me.

"Incase, where should I sleep?" I asked him.

"Here also." He said to me.

"Ah, a guy & a girl in one room. He might do something to me. I'm a virgin."

"No. No. No. I must not jump into that conclusion." I said into my mind.

"Your girlfriend might get angry if he knows that I & you stays in one room." I silently said.

"I do not have someone." He said while reading a book.

"It's nice to know that. I can be your girlfriend as long as my time do not lapse. If you want." I said to him with a smile. I want to cover my mouth but those words unexpectedly came from me.

He didn't respond to me. In a sudden moment. I can feel that he was upset so what I said. I'm so embarrassed to myself too. I want to disappear.

"Earth, I apologized. I just... I just want to be your girlfriend."

" I want to eat takoyaki with you , ride favorite ferris wheel with you, do fun things beside the beach with you, go to good viewpoint of the island with you & lastly watch fireworks with you." I silently said while looking to him.

He stopped reading & looked at me in the eye.

He moved towards me & pound the wall.

"We do not have that & I am not familiar to what you are saying..."

"...but we can eat tangerine bay all the time, ride my blue hover craft, do fun things at polar lore, watch the 4D holographic concert of my favorite band & go to the floating city." He responded.

"Does he mean? Does he mean he agrees to me? To be his girlfriend?" I asked myself as he look me in the eye.

"Be my girlfriend or my real pet. It's fine with me. Anything you want" He said as if it's nothing & just sit again on his strange hanged sofa then read his book.

"Real pet?" I said silently as my head tilted a little.

"I'll give you everything. Including food & clothes." He touches my head as he said it.

So I am not a girlfriend? Girlfriend doesn't work on him. I am older than him. I must say treat me like an older sister?

I looked to him & to myself in the mirror. He seems not the sweet guy I met before. He doesn't shows any likeness to me.
