Chapter 6 : Genetic Human

I want to sleep but we had a single bed & one room.

I was sitting to the seat next to the bed.

Earth came changed clothes with the same design as mine except that it was a male type of cloth in pink.

"Ah, we had same clothes." I said to him while looking to mine & pointing to his cloth.

"Couples should have same clothes, right?" He said as he lay his body to his bed.

I walked near to him then asked him where I should sleep.

"Here." He pointed his bed.

"I can't. I can't sleep with you in one single bed!" I said in a high pitch.

He smiled & clicked a button to the left portion of his bed then suddenly another portion of single bed appeared connected to him. This time it has separation by means of having a lower height to his bed.

"Sleep beside my bed." He said with a smile.

"So that's the magic." I silently said.

"Hmm... Can we exchange bed? I like yours." I said funnily as I already know that his bed has a hypnotic rhythmic sound.

"No." earth said as he lay his body on his bed.

I lay too my body then suddenly the room censor turns off the light.

It was then my first time to sleep near a guy. Our bed seems separated a little but it was intertwined or combined.

About Earth, I do not know what he thinks of me but for now all I know that he only wants to study about my time.

I looked into a distant table where the double star badge was located.

I can see that it glows in the dark.

I side my body to where I can see Earth.

"When will I return this item to you?" I asked myself.

Earth quickly fell asleep.

Inside his dream he remember his highschool days at age of 17 years old.

So here is the scenario.

Today, I was busy in doing programs when a pretty woman names Helsy approached me.

"Awesome." She praises me when she saw that my program works.

"Thank you."I replied.

"You are so intelligent." She said that makes me smile.

After a few seconds Blake saw us & get mad on me due too he was jealous of me.

He was courting Helsy during that time while I'm not interested to her.

When Helsy went outside, Blake came inside & talked to me silently while I'm busy on my programs.

"Earth, you are genetic engineered human right?" He said with an angry voice.

"Yes." I replied.

"Still you do not have someone or even liked someone." He even added.

"What do you mean?" I responded.

"You therefore had no parents." He said.

"There is no problem with that. We are almost 100 here in our school." I explained.

"What I mean is it is right that you should not love because you don't deserve to be loved because you're not produce by love!" He loudly said that makes me mad.

My eyes became widened then I hit Blake two times that makes him down.

An alarm was sounded then we are called by the office.

Our Professor gave us first warning by putting yellow color into our grade badge.

Blake while we are sitting looks to me madly while my appearance stays so calm.

Blake's parents came & hugged him.

"Are you alright?" He mother said.

"Yes, but my head hurts" He said to her mother in a pity voice.

"My apology for my son's rudeness." Her mother said as she touches nicely my hand.

I nodded to her.

His father from a distant was angry.

He talks to our Professor & I heard that he was saying that Genetic Engineered Human is too powerful than normal human. He was saying that I was too dangerous. So he suggested for the separation of genetic engineered human class to normal human.

After his talking, he went to Blake to comfort him.

I was just sitting & looking to them. I had... I had no parents to come for me.

Blake was probably right. I was not produce by love. I don't deserve to love & be loved.

I was only a genetic engineered human & nothing more about that. I should stay alone & separated to normal one.

I blinked my eyes & looked down. Until an old man came for me in the office.

"Ah, Mr. Grey." My Professor said.

All of them shakes hand to them.

"He is the owner of this academy." My Professor explained.

"Nice to meet you all."

He approaches me & touched my head.

"My apology for my Earth. My genetic engineered human grandchild still needs to understand life." He explained in a formal voice.

"We understand. We too would like to apologize." Blake's father responded in a nice tone of voice.

"So, about the separation of Genetic Engineered Human to normal one. I will evaluate if that is a good execution. I will update all of you." He said.

"Thank you, Sir." Blake's mother said as they leave.

So Mr. Grey said that I was his grandson. I stare to him because I do not know why.

"Grandpa? How could that happen?" I asked him.

"Do we have same gene? I asked another.

"I am the grandpa of all 100 genetic engineered human who studied here in the academy." He smiled & said to me.

"About your genes. I am not related to it. Ah. The government pays me a lot of money to monitor all of you. Actually all over the Planet Earth, you are only 1 million. So you are all special & futuristic human. So be happy about that." He explained to me.

"What's that?" I said as I saw him holding something strange.

"This is a book. You must know this. I love reading books." He said to me.

"Can I have one?" I asked.

"Of course not. It is expensive." He whispers to me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Book are rare. I travelled back in time just to buy them." He said seriously to me.

"Come to my place. I'll show you lots of my collections." He said with a smile.

We came to storage of books. It smells old like grandpa.

"It was dusty." I silently said.

"You can read all of these if you want. We have novels, literature & other genres." He said as he open wide his arms.

"Currently, I was reading the novel of Lizelle Tabaquero entitled "Knight's Time". It's all about ta time traveler's love story." Grandpa said.

"Do you have a wife?" I asked.

"Yes, but she died earlier than me."

"You reminds me of her." Grandpa said in a little sad voice.

"Is there a love story about genetic engineered human fall in love to normal one?" I asked curiously.

"That story was not yet created but you can create that in reality." Grandpa said.

"Earth, everything in the Universe was created by love. Including you & all living creatures. Everyone deserves to love & beloved by the way." Out of nothing Grandpa said this words to me.

I was then realizes that I was in my dream or just going back in my past. I returned to my 24 year-old appearance too.

"I am dreaming Grandpa but thank you."

"I miss you." I said as I hugged my Grandpa who's already 4 years dead.

His properties were all transferred to me & even his bookstore of antic. For many years I became his comrade & treated as true grandson.

"Take care of yourself. Also take care of her." Grandpa said with a sad voice as he pointed to a suddenly appeared appearance of Loreal sleeping on a bed.

"She loves you..." Grandpa said as he disappeared infront of me that wakes me up.

I was surprised, I saw Loreal from a half meter was sleeping soundly. Her face was on my side.

I touched it gently & looked to her innocent face.

I was too curious about her. This time traveler loves me? Or I unexpectedly loves her?

I get up & prepared myself to work. I also planned to meet Dr. Ralph (also a genetic engineered human) to consult about Loreal's body examination.

When Loreal woke up. She pressed the lavender cube ball with a smile to me.

"Smells good." I said to her.

"Return back early. I was bored alone." She said to me.

"Hmm... I prepared a website where you can study more about this year 2222.You can watch movie history too." I said to her.

"Thank you." She replied with a smile.
