12. Practice
"Did master Gred ever taught anything about smithing?"
"Uhm...he did not."
"How can you be his son if you don't know anything about smithing!"
"You see... when master Gred brought me, he was already hunted by many high powered people. They wanted to get his powerful swords so we hid in the deep forests for years, he said that he wouldn't teach me forgery because people might also try to hunt and deceive me so he only gave me one of the swords so I could be able to defend myself to them."
"I see... he did tell me that he was being hunted by a lot of hunters but that was thousands of years ago? How are you so young?"

Quickly, Jin made another false story.
"Thousands of years already passed?! The only memory I have in my mind is when Gred gave me Dainsleif and when I woke up, I found myself alone in a temple."
"Hmmm....that sounds surreal, no wonder you look like a walking corpse. I wouldn't even be half satisfied if I devoured you."
"What?"
"Hahaha, just kidding! Come! Help me kill those bulls! Tonight we will have a feast!"

The lions roared loudly. They pursued back the bulls who again fled away after seeing the lions chase after them. Jin, on the other hand, was stupefied after realizing that he had completely fooled the lions so he had to act out.
The cooldown of the speed skills had long finished. Jin activated the skills and went to follow the speeding lions.
He still needed to practice on his swordsmanship since his still far away from being an expert. He couldn't become the strongest hunter if he only relied on brute strength alone, he also needs to polish his techniques and helping the lions slay the bulls would be a good exercise for Jin to practice his sword.
"I want to see your skills boy! We surround them and you kill them!"
The lions began to circle the hordes of bulls and surround them. After successfully circling out the bulls, Jin leaped up from the air and put all of his strength into his next attack.
"Hapt!"
The bulls had been isolated by the lions so they had to surround themselves for the incoming attacks by the lions.
A shadow above the air confused the bulls, as they look up above, a skinny man could be seen crashing down their way with a black flaming sword.
Balaam!
With that heavy impact, the bulls who were in the range of Jin's attack instantly died and those near his range flew a few meters away.
The bulls on the area of Jin's impact had been burned alive roasting their skin like Lechon (Filipino term for cooking an animal by roasting it in burning flame). Some who didn't got burned alive were struck by a very painful venom that cause or their veins to turn green, weakening them and rotting their muscle tissues eventually killing them.
"Where do you think you're going? [Steel String]!"
Though Jin was fortunate that the bulls couldn't evade his attack, the other bulls who had luckily avoided the attack tried to flee away from the man. Even if escape was futile for the bulls, they didn't want to die on the hands of that man. They'd just accept the death that awaits by putting themselves in the fangs of the lions.
Hooot! Hooot!
Strings flowed out from Jin's fingertips and controlled them to constrict some bulls. The bulls could feel a thin fabric of thread tying their legs and confusing them. They tried to flee away from this thread but they couldn't move no matter what they do.
"Get over here!"
Jin pulled the bulls who had been constricted by the string back to him. As one arrived near him, a powerful punch was struck to the bull's face blasting him away by few meters.

The punch caused another bull to be pulled by the string and as it arrive to Jin, he strike its chin with his elbow cracking its jaw bone.

The attacks caused critical damage as Jin pinpointed the weak points of the bulls'. Again he pulled two bulls at the same time with his string and bang their heads on each other dealing quite the amount of damage and knocking them out unconscious.

He grabbed both of the foot of the unconscious bulls spinning them in a circular motion at a very fast rate.
"Oh! Yeah! Knock those bulls out!"
Scar, who was watching Jin fought the bulls using only his bare hands was quite amused by the scene. The lions who had also watched the fight enjoyed the view of every bulls who were one decidedly beaten to pulp by Jin and they had to secure that none of the bulls could escape them.
"Yah!"
Jin threw the unconscious bulls on the remaining bulls crashing them to each other and yet again, Jin pulled all of the bulls together and piled them up.
"This is my final attack!"
Jin constricted every bull with his string so they can't escape from his grasp. He reequipped Dainsleif back and readied his attack.
"[Thunder Clap], [Viral Infection]!"
Thunder crashed towards him and blue aura began to cover his body. Dainsleif had crackle electricity and the blade had also been coated by a green goo.
"Eat this, [Critical Strike]!"
Jin furiously swung Dainsleif vertically on the direction of the piled bulls. Blackthorns appear simultaneously on the blade and unlike the last time, these thorns were longer and are more numerous in number.
Each thorns had also been imbued with poison making the pointy parts of the thorns drip green substance and the lightning had amplified every thorns giving a blue glowing effect.
Hit! Hit!...
Every thorns pierced the bodies of the bulls causing blood to spurt out. The veins turned green in an instant causing poison damage to those who had been struck by the thorns not only that, the lightning amplification coursed to everybody of the bulls giving them a pain of electric shock that didn't stop due to the conducting of the steel strings.

The bulls one by one died. Most of them had their skins burnt and those who were unfortunately struck by poison had their body rotten emitting a foul odor.

The results of the fight were outstanding! Though he didn't learn much on using the sword, he could now use his own bare fists for fighting and his techniques on using [Steel Strings] has gotten better.
The [Steel Strings] could now evolve to the next stage but it needed some conditions first and fortunately, the conditions were easy enough for Jin.
"Wahahahaha! That was amazing! Truly amazing! You fought like a true man but it seems you are still lacking on the sword."
"H-how do you know?"
"Well, you see..."
Ominous wind began to coil on Scar's body. As slowly the wind disappear, the mighty and giant Scar had turned into a brash man with hairy body like wolverine and bulky muscles.
