It was already 9am in the morning. That meant the students inside the old room were already late. No one took notice of the time so everyone was calm sitting on a chair they got in the room. They nearly formed a circle thanks to Timotheo who turned his back on the his friends and put his chair by the window.
"Whooa! I don't like this atmosphere." said Josef, interrupting the silence that engulfted the room.
It was thanks to Josef that Timotheo decided to stay. Josef was able to calm him down and told him that what would be talked about in that room was as important as his life.
"No one's gonna talk? I better leave then. I am already late in my class." Timotheo said, pissed off.
When he was already standing up, Fate spoke up.
"You have to quit going to school."
A deep silence enveloped the room again. This time it was so deep that one could have wished he/she could break it.
"It is not just The Vindicators that are after you now. The three cults are also about to move." said Fate.
Timotheo sat up again and Josef tried to understand all that he heard but to no avail.
"Who are these cults?" asked Josef.
"They are group of powerful people destroying the world in general. The Vindicators are a religous group formed by three beliefs. Their prophecy says that they have to kill the so-called Time Keeper that will intervene them with the divine restoration. You must have met one of their men." explained Fate.
"You mean, the muscle guy?" asked Dave.
"Yes. His name is Sam. His gift is strength."
"No wonder he is that unbeatable." said Dave.
"And that makes him an Extraordinaire?" asked Josef.
Timotheo was a bit shocked that Josef kinda had some knowledge about the matter being discussed.
"Yes, he is. He is the most powerful Extraordinaire The Vindicators have. But aside from him, there are also exceptional Extraordaire that they have. Nex--"
Fate trailed off with what she was saying because of her cough. She was still kinda in a bad condition that time. She reached out the water Shyla was giving to her. After drinking some water, she continued.
"Have you seen the news this morning?" Fate asked.
"The Ultimate Alliance is on the move to destroy this world." Timotheo blurted out.
"Correct. Free of waste materials. They are talking about humans. They want us all dead."
Each of the listeners got different reactions. Marie and Josef were shocked. Shyla and Dave were a bit mad. Dave clenched his hand. And Timotheo felt nothing about it. He had known the fact that the world is about to go end and news said nothing about it. That's way it was such a miracle that that morning he watched a news after a long time of not doing so.
"The cult under this such outrage is The Evolved. They are most well-advanced among the four cults. They use technologies to destroy the world. And actually, every technologies you see is made by them. Holographic television, VR, bullet train and so on and so forth. It doesn't seem obviuos but they are destroying the nature, the world in general. They are hiding their hidden agenda by giving comfort and convenience to humans. They are not quite religious but they are quite like the Vindicators. As their founder said, they have to kill a very special Extraordinaire, just like the Time Keeper to execute their plan. Or something like that. I am not so sure." said Fate.
"Do you have any info about who their Extraordinaires are?" asked Shyla, worried.
"I am sorry but I do not have any. What I know is that they extremely exterminate Extraordinaires unlike the other cults. They do not recruit or something like that."
All of them were sweating due to the heat the weather had that day. And because of the pressure they felt hearing what Fate was saying.
"The Lost Gens. The spirit that possessed me yesterday is from that cult. They are traditional cults. They do not use technologies to exterminate Extraordinaires. They burn them. They give them as sacrifice to their gods so that once the world ends, they will be spared and go to the paradise. Their last mission before the coming end of the world is to sacrifice the Special One, who might be the Time Keeper." Fate said.
The sky suddenly turned gray. The clouds seemed to be about to unload all of water they accumulated. The wind blew and that made the old room a bit cold that moment.
When Fate stopped talking, Timotheo checked the time. He almost stood up again but he was stopped by Marie who brought her chair beside Timotheo.
Timotheo tried to calm down a bit. He was getting impatient of all these talking. He wished that time that he should have stayed in his house.
"Don't worry mister. We are about to get done." Fate said angrily.
She looked at Timotheo sternly and then continued.
"The last cult is somewhat odd. They are called The Iconoclast. They have not been involved in any extermination lately. Some say they are storing power but some say some of the Iconoclast are being converted to Vindicators. And that's all I know about them. I will try to get more info about them and tell you about it if I get any."
Timotheo stood up from his chair and rushed to the door. He was stopped by what Fate said once again.
"Now, the question is, can you handle all of them, Timotheo?" said Fate, grinning.
"I can--"
Timotheo stopped speaking when he saw something familiar in the window. Something he did not want to see that morning. And something that he never wanted to cross path again.
Out of the window was a guy with an eye-patch, buffed and masculine.
It was Sam.
