"So, this is it" Evan said, looking at a big place made out of purely in steel. Columns of steel stand as the foundation of the place, while the darkness of the night made the warehouse a bit hard to know what its true color is, but for him, the roof seemed red. The windows were also boarded up with wood, four wide windows up on the roof, all of it covered.
"Everyone still remembers the plan?" Castriel asked, looking at everyone with caution and confidence that the plan her and all of them made will succeed, readying her blowpipe incase of any encounters with patrol.
"Surely it will" Zach answered, looking at his wife with fear, panic, confidence, and excitement. "After all" He grabbed Evan by the shoulder and pulled him closer. "We got a monster on our side if all goes wrong".
"Wha-what do you mean?" Evan replied, flustered a bit from the compliment coming from him.
"Yeah, what do you mean by a monster anyway?" Pierre asked, still not knowing what happened after their fight, his memories hazy that time.
"Let's just focus on the mission at hand" Castriel broke off the two, wanting to start as soon as possible.
"Agreed" Ezekiel seconded.
"Yeah, yeah, one hit boy" Evan teased him, making a run towards the side of warehouse while Ezekiel chased him in anger.
"Arghhhhh" Castriel sighed, heading over to where the are going. "I'll follow them to make sure they don't screw up the plan" She waved her hand while she is walking towards the side of the warehouse. "Good luckn guys" She went ahead and ran towards the two boys.
The two of the both stared as she ran while seeing two boys still fighting over, in a stealth mission.
"Well, how ironic that an enemy from yesterday became an ally today" Pierre said, cheering up the mood a bit to lessen the awkwardness and the tension in the atmosphere.
"Actually" Zach raised his inxed finger "It's a week before and...."
"I know what I said" Pierre answered, as he did an expression of punching his left arm gently while it caught the fist. "Let's kick some...."
"Let's get going then" Zach said, readying his fists for battling a lot of enemies. Then, he urged Pierre to follow him by raising his hand and lowering it down again. Pierre just stared first and followed afterwards, never thinking that he will just disrespect him like that. But, since a battle will commence, its better if they don't become enemies before a suicide mission.
"Yeah" He followed, passing by him and going towards the front door of the warehouse. "Let's go"
They both went to the front door, while Castriel, Evan, and Ezekiel went to the window to infiltrate and save Miranna.
>:T
"Berserk!" Pierre shouted, his muscles bulging much more bigger, getting much more stronger and feeling faster by the second. The rocks around him now floating a bit from the aura he exudes. His hair rising up a bit from the strengthening. He looked at Zach and saw him doing nothing but waiting for him to finish. "Aren't you gonna power up or something?"
"Let me remind you" Zach said to him, still looking at the big steel doors in front of him, thinking of ways on how will he charge. "That my power up comes in a sort of passive way. Meaning that it won't come out unless I got too hurt or the wounds I sustained is sufficient enough for it come out".
"Sounds like something that will come in the power of friendship" Pierre replied, stretching his head and hands before going in. He looked at Zach in the eyes and nods as a sign. "Ready?"
Zach looked at him also. "Yep" is all he could answer, as they both walked until they got closer to the steel doors.
"You know" Pierre said, "Things like this surely gets you heart pumping" He touched the right steel door using his right hand.
Zach laughed "Yeah, never thought I'll do something this stupid in my life again". He touched the left steel door using his right hand also.
"Hahahaha, I feel you" Pierre said, readying his own self for the problems that will come along.
"Go?" Zach asked.
"Go" Pierre replied.
Both of them put force on the steel doors, making it fly away from the pressure they both put in. The doors hitting the front and the moonlight shining in through the room. After the room had light, they saw atleast something over hundreds, maybe even thousands, pointing whatever weapon they could have. A sword, bow, and many more.
"Guess this is it" Pierre said, walking in at the room, his heart pumping faster than when the doors were still intact.
"Yep" Zach replied, as they both heard the screams of a lot people charging and shooting at them.
>:T
"Looks like they've started" Castriel said, while she borrowed a shortsword from Ezekiel and attempted to break down the boarded windowns by using the hilt of it and pounding it down at the second boarded up window. After a few attempts and a bit of anger, she managed to break it down.
"You know" Ezekiel said, looking at Castriel while Evan became silent, trying to materialize a big concentration of air, able to make three people go down. "Why didn't we just use Evan's fire magic while were at it?" Castriel looked at him.
"Just wanted to, that's why" She pointed at Evan, who was still materializing, using her thumb. "We need to conserve much of his energy while we're at it". Ezekiel nodded in agreement, not wanting to argue anymore and just understood her.
"It's ready" Evan said, after concentrating air pockets to their feets, they all levitated up and passed throught the now open window, going down towards the floor. They all wobbled a bit after going down, still not used to the feeling of air levitation.
"Remind me not to do that again" Ezekiel said, feeling a bit light headed.
"A one hit, shota, and a wussy" Evan said, happy to the many options he can tease Ezekiel with. "How lucky I am to be alive" He got punched into the shoulder by Ezekiel, making it hurt a lot. "Ouch!" He almost shouted, if it wasn't for Castriel shutting him up by covering his mouth.
"Can you please not fool around while we're on a stealth mission?" She whispered, getting angry at the two for acting so childish, even if the one they're saving is someone precious to them and all. "Or do you want to call it off!?" She shoutingly whispered, just like how someone really wants to shout at them, but in a whisper as so they won't call in any attention. They heard from the distance a loud rumbling, and the ground vibrating.
"Guess we shouldn't waste our time lecturing you two" She said, as she smacked them both in the head, but she made the hit lighter on Evan, still having a bit of flashblacks of what he did.
"Sorry" They both replied, as Castriel walked according to the map, and they followed her silently.
The warehouse is huge to their standards, but was ok to Ezekiel.
"Curse royalty" They both whispered, staring at him coldly while he looked at them both in confusion.
Coming back, the warehouse to where they broke in is separated four, and the one they came from is the second one. From both their sides stands massive piles of unidentifiable junk, that even all three of them couldn't describe. All they know is that it is something that can't be easily described, and just a mix and mash of solid grey slob. Here and there they saw broken metal, wires, toys, and a lot more. The room itself looks more like a labyrinth rather than a storehouse for materials. The junk serves as the walls, making anyone that wanders in here may have the possibility of getting lost. After walking for a while, Evan found a peculiar object hidden in the unidentifiable junk, while the two walked straight past him, not noticing that they left Evan behind, until they got far enough, did they realize.
"Hey" Ezekiel said, having to search around him, but not seeing a white haired b****** following behind him made him realize that they lost him. "Have you seen Evan anywhere?"
"What?" Castriel looked back, seeing only that Ezekiel is left behind her. "D***, that boy" She cussed, putting her hand in her forehead in worry. "Getting easily curious by things" She continued to walk ahead and urged him to follow her along, while Ezekiel still looked behind him, maybe thinking that he the white haired b****** will manage to follow along. After Castriel sensing him being worried, she spoke. "Don't mind him, he's a big boy now"
"Yeah" He said, putting both hands at his back "That boy will figure out a way to surely come back". He followed her while she walked, searching around the place while they both looked around for any clues to where Miranna is.
>:T
"Well, well, well" Avilius said, standing on top of the piles of junk, grinning at the lucky catch he got. "Look who do we have here" He stared down to see a white haired boy looking at him from above with relaxed dark blue eyes, both hands up in the air as a lot of people with bows targeted him in all directions.
"Well" Evan said "Can't beat me all alone now?". He looked around for an opening to escape, but he couldn't find one.
"I'm too scared to fight you" Avilius answered, making his voice girlish and scared. His body shivering fakely as he grinned at him. "Or what you wanted to me to say". Evan laughed at his superb acting, his laughter echoed across the room.
"You'll be wiping off that arrogant personality of yours once I dealt with the two intruders" He said, as his anger crept onto his voice, seeing how relaxed the boy is even after getting pointed at and overlooking the fact that he will be dead by an utter of a word. He played along to his boisterousness and raised his hand "But first" He made a come hither expression "Give me the racksack".
Evan immediately unequiped the racksack from his back and dropped it on the floor, kicking it to the nearby man, with the man picking it up and tossing it to the higher positioned lackey, repeating the process till it reached Avilius. He scoured the bag while the boy continued to smile at him. "Maps, potions" He said, now putting the racksack upside down for the items that remained. Nothing came out.
"That's it?" He said, seeing the potions on his right, and the map down on the floor. "You carried a racksack and that's it?". His whole being in disbelief on what he saw, as the remaining things the boy has is an arrow case, filled with arrows stained with vermite poison behind his back. But, even then he saw no bow in the boy, nor any kinds of Chronos on his arm.
"Hey you" He said, trying to make himself calm after his useless of a capture. "Why do you have a bowcase behind your back?"
"What do you mean?" Evan asked, clueless about the question Avilius asked him.
"You don't have a Chronos nor a bow" He said, now suspicious of the boy his master warned him about. But, even now, he doesn't see him as a threat as the boy is incapable to summon anything without a Chronos on his arm. But the fact that he singlehandedly defeated Castriel and made Zach surrender without a fight, can go on as strange to many. "Yet how did you defeated my two most strongest lackeys?"
"Luck, I guess?" Evan replied, still looking around him to buy time for the others to find Miranna. After all she did to him, if it wasn't for Ezekiel, he would've totally left her. Or so he thought.
"Not luck alone can save you from defeating two veterans" Avilius answered, getting angered now on how Evan treats him and the situation between the two. Despising him even more than he did six days ago.
"Fine, fine, I'll admit the truth" He said, looking down and fakingly feared him by shivering a bit. Judging from his expression, Avilius believed that he is actually trying to act tough, but deep inside, he was scared of him all this time. After that, Evan prolonged the tension, and made Avilius much more interested, wanting to end the suspense of knowing his secret.
"It's done" Someone said in his mind, making him abandon his distraction.
"It's because of my charm you know?" Evan answered, grinning and laughing at how stupid they all looked after he created a suspenseful moment.
"At first, I was going to tie you up and torture you before you told me what it is" Avilius replied, his heart about to burst in anger as how a teenage boy made a fool out of him. "But now" He snapped, "Kill him"
All of them shot at Evan at the same time, but he only smiled and meld with the shadow down at his feet, leaving no trace that a man ever stood at that certain area. Every arrow directed at him just hit a ground, not once did Evan got hit at all.
"D*****, GO TO THE MAIN LOBBY!" Avilius shouted, making his way towards where Miranna is kept hostage all this time. They hurried there after he realized that Evan only bought the two time. Avilius grinned a bit, as both Evan and Ezekiel didn't knew what waited them when they reached Miranna.
"Hahaha, you fools" is the last thing he said, as he ran towards the main room.
>:T
"What do you think he's taking him so long?" Ezekiel asked, as they stood against a wooden door, while Castriel tried to forcibly unlocking the door using the shortsword she borrowed.
"I don't know" She said, still trying get the door open to what they feel is something important from the other side. "But, I'm sure he'll be fine". She unlocked the door, hearing a *CLICK* sound, meaning that the she succeeded. They opened the door and saw another room filled with unidentifiable junk. In the middle is a throne made out of wood, with handles on the side and red cushions to comfort anyone who sits on it. On the left is a lady blindfolded to her eyes and mouth. Her black hair now crumpled after what he thought is a lot of her hair getting pulled, and a week worth of no baths. She only wore a long white shirt. Her arms tied in a steel column, silent in the dark room. Only by hearing the door open, did she tried to talk and say a lot of different things, which only went out as something as *HMPH! HMPHHHHH!!!!*
"Hold on, Mirmir!" Ezekiel said, as he went to the column and summoned a dagger on his hand. "Don't worry, I'll get you out". He used his dagger to slash at the cloth, untying her hands, then her eyes, and lastly, with the utmost care, her mouth. She panted and breath after days of getting tortured. She then remembered what she was going to say after waiting for a week.
"YOU SHOULDN'T TRUST HER!" Miranna shouted, holding him in both shoulders while shivering in pain and fear.
"What do you mean?" Ezekiel asked, confused as to why she is trying to say.
"You shouldn't trust...." She got shot with a dart on her shoulder, stained with Vermite poison. She immediately got paralyzed, her mouth dripping saliva and her eyes looking up.
Ezekiel looked back to see Castriel loading another dart at her blowpipe.
"Geez, she talks way too much" She readied her blowpipe to shoot at Ezekiel. Her eyes now narrowing to a lifeless state.
"Go to sleep" She shot the blowpipe.
"Ezekiel"
