17. Manipulation

It wasn't til late that night that Ki finally came up to his room. I was reading one of the many books he had stacked in his room.

Ki entered looking exhausted.

"Everything alright?"

He pulled off his suit jacket and hung it over the chair. Sitting next to me he lifted me onto his lap smiling.

"I am now."

I smiled back looking down at him. I started to unbutton his shirt exposing his muscled chest. Sitting back I removed my own shirt letting it fall to the ground, my bra fell next to it.

With my hands i caressed his skin starting at his pectorals as they made their way down to his pants. Leaning forward I inched closer to his lips but instead of kissing him I veered to the side. I took his ear loop in my mouth as I nibbled. His groan sounded in my ear as i undid his belt sliding my hand down his boxers.

My mouth still at his ear I started kissing my way down to his neck. His hand cupped my breast as the other went up my skirt pulling aside my lace undies his fingers rubbed my core. I bit into his neck as his fingers entered me. My hands still held his hardness as I continued to bite his neck.

"God I'll never be able to get enough of you."

I chuckled against his skin.

"Neither can I."

Slowly I pulled away as I pulled off the rest of my clothes he did the same. Kneeling before him I took him into my mouth. His eyes glowed as our eyes locked I took him in fully as I moved in rhythm. His hands tangled in my hair.

I could feel him getting close til finally he growled in pleasure. Lifting me up I wrapped my legs around him. He held me up against the wall as he entered me already hard again.

He moved inside me stretching me wide making my body tingle with the feel of him. He thrusted into me my core excepting all of him the pleasure pain causing my own eyes to glow. As I neared climax the feeling I had while sparing again came over me.

Ki forced me over the edge and everything in the room from the bed to the books lifted into the air with my power. With my eyes closed because of the force of my orgasm I noticed none of it til Ki froze.

Opening my eyes I realised what was happening and instantly everything crashed to the ground. Ki laughed at my horrified face as he set me down.

"Didn't think I was that good."

I slapped him in the chest.

"It's not funny."

Ki rubbed his chest still smiling.

"At least this proves that one of your powers is no longer bound."

I groaned.

"Ki! What am I going to do I can't have this happen every time we have sex."

Ki wrapped his arms around me.

"Relax Rave it just means you need to learn to control it."

A knock sounded on the door followed by Drakes voice.

"Is everything alright in there the whole house heard a crash."

Despite myself I couldn't help but giggle.

"Everything's fine Drake Raven just knocked a lamp over."

"Very good sir."

His footsteps disappeared down the hall, I sighed ok it was a little funny. I got dressed again and with Ki's help got the room back to how it looked before which of you ask me wasn't much different.

Once finished Ki grabbed my hand pulling me towards the bed.

"Come on lets get some sleep we will worry about that power of yours tomorrow."

I nodded as I climbed into bed next to him resting my head on his chest, it was becoming my new favourite spot.

My mind wondered as I lay there. I had intended to bring Zeld up straight away but well that never happened. Maybe now wasn't the best time I should wait til morning. I knew I was just trying to put off an inevitable argument but our relationship was still so new I didn't want to ruin what was becoming the best thing to happen in my life.

"What's on your mind?"

I smiled hiding my feelings.

"Nothing."

Ki lifted my chin up to look at him.

"Come on Rave I can tell that something's wrong. Don't ever be afraid to talk to me. I want us to be open with each other no matter what."

I sighed oh well he asked for it.

"I was just worried about Zeld I know you don't trust him but that's because you don't know him. I do he's has the kindest heart I just don't want to see him go back to a pack that will only change who he is into something twisted just like it changed Shiya."

Ki remained silent as he stared into the darkness of the room. His hand ran through my hair after awhile he kissed my forehead.

"As much as I don't like him I know how much he means to you so I'll let him stay but he stays under guard at all times until he proves himself trustworthy."

I grinned as I kissed him deeply.

"Thank you Ki."

Ki frowned.

"Just keep in mind it doesn't mean I'll let him join the pack."

I nodded I knew it was hard enough to except Zeld's presence in the house let alone let him join the pack. just letting him stay was enough.

"I understand Ki thank you and don't worry he won't cause any problems I'll make sure of it."

He chuckled but there was no humour in it.

"As long as he keeps looking at you like a puppy who lost his bone he'll be nothing but trouble."

I punched him gently in the stomach as he chuckled for real.

Enough said he rolled me over staring down at me his eyes glowed mischievously.

"Now getting back to us."

His lips met mine in a kiss that had my back arching into him. I gently pushed him back looking around the room.

"What about my powers?."

He sniggered.

"Guess we'll just have to clean up again."

I laughed his lips met mine again as we made love well into the night until we fell asleep in each other's arms.

In the morning I opened my eyes and groaned looking around the room. It looked like a tornado had hit there were books and clothes everywhere. I stretched oh well I'll deal with it later.

I could hear Ki in the shower so getting up I grabbed some clean clothes that had somehow ended up on the other side of the room and headed for the bathroom.

Once inside I couldn't help but watch Ki as he showered. God he had the most god like body I had ever seen from his broad shoulders to his deliciously defined abs and even lower.

"Hey eyes up here."

My cheeks turned red as he laughed I hadn't even realised he was watching me.

"You getting in or you just going to ogle me all day."

I laughed.

"Just admiring the view."

"The views even better up close."

I smiled as I undressed and got into the shower with him. Ki wrapped his arms around me as the water covered us both.

"How did I get so lucky?"

It was a rhetorical question but I answered anyway.

"I'm the one that's lucky Ki I never in a million years thought I'd be able to trust any pack ever again but you changed that. The blue moon pack has welcomed me like one of their own it's so unlike the pack I grew up in. I don't know what I've done to deserve any of it or you. You really are the best thing that has ever happened to me."

He took my lips in his then just held me close as the heat of the shower warmed our bodies.

A knock on the door broke our moment.

"Ki hurry up Ward's back there's news."

Ki sighed looking down at me.

"Guess we better go see what they've found out."

I nodded as we both got out of the shower and got dressed.

Cal was standing in the middle of the room smirking as we exited the bathroom.

"Now I've had rough sex before but what the hell did you two get up to last night?"

Ki growled.

"None of your business now come on."

Cal looked to me.

"If I had of known you were this much fun I would've taken you for myself."

Ki's eyes glowed.

"Enough Cal now where is Ward?"

"He's downstairs."

Ki headed straight for the door as Cal turned to me winking.

"So powers not gone huh?"

I punched him in the arm as I passed.

"No and if you don't stop teasing I'll use it to throw you out the window."

He laughed as he followed us out the door.

As soon as Ward saw Ki he started blurting out everything.

"I came as fast as I could you've got to warn Trigon Loki has reason to believe the council have been compromised."

Ki instantly turned to Cal.

"Ring my father get him back here now."

Cal pulled out his cell and did as Ki ordered while Ward continued.

"We found out that Shiya is using a bounty hunter by the name of Quell. Loki says his specialty is manipulating the mind."

"So there is another bounty hunter."

I smiled Zeld was right Ki ignored my outburst and urged Ward to keep going.

"Yes there is another bounty hunter but she's not sending him after any of us she's sending him after Tharon."

"She plans to use him to gain control of the pack."

Ki surmised.

"That's what Loki said but he also thinks that if she's using Quell then it's likely that she has used him before. He said we should be sure of whether the council members are of their own mind before we talk to them."

Ki nodded in agreement as Cal hung up the phone.

"Trigons on his way back now luckily he hadn't even have a chance to met with any of the council yet."

"Good now what is Loki's plan with Tharon?"

"He's still watching him while Nicali is watching Shiya. Loki suggests letting her do it because she's more likely to make a mistake then Tharon is and that if we let her take down Tharon it will be easier for us to take them both down."

Ki nodded.

"I agree but it does make me wonder if she does have the council under thumb what does she plan on doing? This is New York one of the biggest cities in America it's not like the old days when you can just wage an all out attack. Too many people would notice a thousand wolves. What is her end goal?"

"I don't know perhaps we will find out given more time."

"Yes good work Ward go get some rest then I want you back to help Loki and Nicali."

Ward nodded as he headed upstairs his steps heavy the only sign that he was exhausted.

"Cal bring Zeld down here we need to know everything he knows about this bounty hunter and why he thought he was coming here."

I watched Cal hurry to do as Ki said. Once he was out of ear shot I turned to Ki.

"He must have over heard wrong."

"Or he made it up and came here for another reason."

I was about to answer when Cal appeared with Zeld in front of him. He looked much better his wounds were almost healed and he was standing much straighter then yesterday.

"What do you want Alpha."

Zeld spat the word alpha out like it hurt him to say it.

"Zeld!"

I chastised.

Ki put his hand to my shoulder and gently squeezed silencing me.

"I need to know everything about this bounty hunter and what you saw and heard and remember if you lie about anything I won't hesitate to feed you to the wolves."

I remained silent I couldn't show my displeasure with the way Ki spoke to Zeld in front of him.

Zeld looked to me then Ki as he took a deep breath.

"I over heard Shiya she was on the phone with who I can only assume was the bounty hunter. She was asking if he was ready for his next job and that he better not fail like the last one. She also said that when he was done she would finally be rid of the sister she never wanted."

He looked to me.

"As soon as I heard that I left but on my way out I ran into the guards they tried to drag me back but I fought my way out and came straight here."

Ki shook his head.

"That's it?"

Zeld nodded.

"I can't believe this. that's all? you were basing this on was some vague phone call that you didn't even stay to hear the whole conversation."

Ki looked to me.

"Not very bright this one."

Zeld growled in response.

I scowled but he was right how was that even proof of anything. It was obvious my sister was talking to Quell and they were talking about using the moon goddess pack to take me out.

However it didn't make him stupid just impulsive. He always did jump to conclusions when we were younger.

Ki waved him away as Zeld turned he frowned towards me not understanding what was going on. I gave him a small smile hopefully reassuring him that I would talk to him later.

"Well even though he was wrong at least this proves he didn't lie."

Ki glared at me.

"It proves nothing Rave if anything all of this proves he's even less trustworthy."

I threw up my hands in frustration.

"How?"

Ki cupped my cheek.

"You heard Ward Shiyas using a mind manipulator how do we know Zeld hasn't been manipulated?"

I stared into his eyes I couldn't argue there was every chance he could be right. Ki had the whole pack to look after. one wrong move and he could kill them all. I sighed there was still one thing he hadn't considered.

"Even if that's true it would mean Zeld is being controlled against his will. I know him Ki he would never play the spy if it meant causing me harm he's innocent in all this."

Reluctantly Ki nodded in agreement.

"Even though I hate the way he obviously feels for you it's because of those feelings that I agree he would never willing put you in danger."

Ki's lips met mine.

"Let's figure out if he is being used then we will figure out a way to help him."

I wrapped my arms around him. I knew he was only doing it for my sake but that only made me love him more that he was willing to do anything to help those I cared about.
