Talieus's POV
"Noooo!!!!"
I watched in horror as my son was held in that bitches hands. There was too much distance between us. There was no way I could get to him in time. I ran my paws hiting the ground so hard dirt sprayed behind me. Grabbing a moon goddess wolf by the throat I threw him to the side with one flick of my head the bone of his neck snapping with the force of it.
The exchange taking mere seconds and I was running again. Through the fighting wolves I saw Luna pull her head back her fangs shimmering in the moon light. I was so close.
'Hold on I'm coming.'
I never heard his answer as her fangs came down on his neck in seconds he stopped moving.
I lunged knocking her away from him as his body hit the ground with a resounding thud. I stood over him my fangs bared at her my hackles raised. I would not leave him, couldn't leave him. A grey streak flew passed me attacking her head on.
'I'll distract her get his body away from here.'
It was Tharon he was beside me in the battle he must have seen me running and followed.
'You can't take her on alone!'
'Just go he's your son. I couldn't save my daughter maybe there's something Raven can do to save him he is her father after all.'
'But-"
"Haha your all idiots he is dead if Raven could bring the dead back to life she would have done so with Tatiana. Don't worry soon you will all join him."
I growled as Luna stood before us her eyes glaring at us with a menacing stare. Then before my eyes she attacked Tharon her teeth in his neck before I even had a chance to move against her. I howled in anguish as she threw his body next to Loki's like they were nothing to her. How could this happen? Was I next? Was this it?
I watched her move slowly towards me and I knew in that moment there was no stopping her. We could have a thousand wolves and she would still beat us.
Luna lunged and all I could do was watch unable to move lost in my own despair. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact and my inevitable death. Just when I felt the heat of her hand reaching for me the ground beneath us began to shake.
My eyes snapped open and it was like the entire battlefield had taken on a life of its own. The trees themselves came alive glowing with power. The branches from the trees reached out and grabbed every enemy holding them within their grasp. The only ones the trees didn't touch were those on our side.
Luna's eyes took in the sight around her fury in her eyes.
"No this can't be she can't it's forbidden."
I don't know what was going on but whatever it was Luna was afraid. The ground beneath us continued to shake as a power began to grow within the forest. A power coming from the great oak where Raven was. It was like energy was being syphoned from the sun, the earth, the air and the rivers. Energy that could be seen by everyone. All anyone could do was stare as the energy pulsed with power and light as it poured into the great oak. What the hell was happening.
A voice sounded in my head, Ravens voice and judging by the look on those that were near me they could hear her too.
"Leave this place at once. All of you have done enough. I am your goddess and I am now complete."
The power in her voice left no room for arguments as everyone started to run from the battle field. The trees released the enemy as they too ran. I tried to fight the power of her voice but I had no hope. She had become a true goddess with power over us all. My legs took me away my last sight of Luna was her angry face as she growled at the trees and the fleeing wolves that she thought she had complete control of.
There was nothing I could do but hope that I would see Raven again as the glowing and the power intensified.
