CHAPTER 40

On planet Blue pole star;

In the New moon city, New moon profound palace ;

It has been five days since Xiao Mei and Cang Yue had disappered. There were quite some rumors thrown around like Lan Xueruo eloping with the master of the new profound place disciple Xiao Mei while others were thst she was kidnapped by some powerful person.

But all these rumours were disregards by the place chief and Sikong Han as they were informed by Cang Yue earlier that she was taken under the wing of Yan who was considered Xiao Mei's master. So they had no problem with this. Cang Yue had also informed them that she would be out of the place for a few days so not to worry and make an excuse or something for the others.

The palace chief and Sikong Han did exactly what thru were informed to do.

At this time in one of the rooms of the palace;

Yun Che was sitting and talking with Jasmine.

"So did you hear how the number one beauty of New moon palace had eloped with that guy?" He said in a mocking tone.

Jasmine who was sitting on the bed looked at him and said," No those information are completely wrong, The last thing I sensed was that the three of them disappeared or more probably transported somewhere".

"What ? but how do you know that?" Yun Che asked in a confused voice.

"It's because I felt some spatial distortions from their room where they disappeared" She said looking out of the window.

" Oh so it means that they went to some other world of something like that??" He again asked.

To this Jasmine nodded her head. In this few days she had thought quit a bit about what to do and she had finally decided that.

"I will do what I feel is right even if it means dealing with the devil" She said as she looked out of the windowat the twinkling stars.

On a different planet;

*WOOSH ZINNNGGGF WOOOOSH CLANG* Two blurs could be seen as they clashed against each other .

*BOOM BOOM BOOM* Anywhere the blurs went would completely destroy the area and and leave it to ruins. One of the blurs were covered with a golden light while the other was covered with blue lightning.

These both were so fast that not even a powerful cultivator could see their clashes.

The two blurs suddenly stopped clashing as they backed away a few meters as they landed on the ground. Two figures could be seen facing each other and both of them were women.

On the right was the woman who looked no older than nineteen. She had a cute and beautiful face with Rosy lips along with long black coloured hair which reached her back. She wore a light coloured dress with armour plates on her forearms and shoulder and armoured boots. She also carried a katana in her right hand which was radiating a powerful aura. But the most fascinating thing about her was that she had two angel like wings on her back made out of light. She was none other than Xiao Mei who looked like a warrior angel.

On the left side stood another woman who had her body covered entirely with a blue coloured shroud that constantly radiated flickering flames of energy and electricity. There were also black lines over her body and a circular design on her stomach. Her hair were completely floating and releasing electricity. She also has a enchanting and curvaceous body with a beautiful face and red coloured slitted eyes(Just like naruto's chakra mode but is blue in colour and made up of lightning chakra/profound energy/magic and I leave the rest to your imagination). She also carried a sword.  This was a curved shortsword with the Dragon tattoo emblem into its hilt and five holes along the middle of the sharp blade, and 5 half-moon holes along the other side of the blade. The blade is split into two different colors, the sharp part is silver and the opposite is a dark green moss. This was the sacred treasures and the sword used by meliodas from the Seven Deadly Sins verse known as Lostvayne. Yan has given this sword as a reward to Cang Yue after she had passed all the trials set up by him. He was really impressed by her growth.

"Hehe elder sister Yue has really become strong even I have a bit of trouble fighting you" Xiao Mei said with a smirk.

"Says the little monster. You are probably hiding more than sixty percent of your power" Cang Yue said as she massaged her shoulder.

In these five years both Xiao Mei and Cang Yue had phenomenal growth of power. Xiao Mei had actually reached the peak level of sovereign profound realm and was just a little away from getting in divine realm while Cang Yue actually reached the Mid level of Tyrant profound realm. She had one of the fastest growth on this planet.

As for Yan his cultivation hadn't actually increased much but it had become extremely stronger and deeper. He had reached the divine tribulation realm and was in its early stages.

"You ready for another round" Cang Yue said as she took an attacking stance.

Listening to her Xiao Mei also took her own attacking stance.

""YAAAAAAAAAAAA"" The two of them shouted as they rushed at each other with full speed.

*CLANG CLANG ZING BLINK* And like that another round of fight started which shook the heavens and earth.

This time Xiao Mei had actually created ten orbs of light which fired extremely destructive laser beams at a speed of light. Cang Yue could only evade those attack, if she took them head on then she would be extremely injured.

*BLING BLING BLING BZZZZTTT BZZZZTTT * She kept dodging hundreds of laser blasts and kept finding Xiao Mei's weak spot but was at a loss because she had none.

Xiao Mei was not simply standing there and spamming lasers but she too was following and clashing with Cang Yue with her Zanpakuto.

Their swords clashed as they used various forms of martial arts to fight against each other when they came in close quarters.

Cang Yue used powerful lightning attacks while Xiao Mei dodged her attacks and counter attacked her by spamming lasers which Cang Yue had to dodge in turn.

They would fight in close contact and long ranges as they exchanged thousands of moves in minutes as the land got destroyed due to the intensity of their battle.

At this time in a distant mountain far away from the battlefield;

Yan was sitting in front of the cliff and was enjoying the battle between the two girl. He was really feeling good. His training had showed perfect results. Both the girls had actually becoming extremely powerful. Especially Cang Yue who actually got forgotten in the main series as she became nothing more than a side character who was only their to either pleasure the main character of be his emotional support. In the novel she was just like one of those one dimensional women who would do anything for the mc and wouldn't question them but here she was different more like she changed under the influence of Yan. Previously she was weak and always needed the support of the mc for everything but now she had the power to turn her fate.

But the most important thing that he liked was that her nature hadn't change at all. When people gain strength they become arrogant and conceding. They would think that they are superior to everyone but for Cang Yue it was different. She hadn't become arrogant nor she acted superior to others. She still had her noble and sweet personality and that is what he liked.

"*Sigh* Five years have passed and it's time for us to return back to the Blue Pole Star" Yan Said as he looked at the sky.
